FIRST TIME REACTING TO (G)I-DLE | Nxde, Allergy, Queencard, I DO, I Want That 

My interpretation of the I Want That mv is that they were indeed all in a relationship with the same guy, and all the others were murdered by him. Minnie survives by getting to him first, and sets the others free by avenging them.

I WANT THAT - He murders Yuqi(thrown down the stairs), Miyeon(drowned), Shuhua(car crash) and Soyeon(choked to death). You can tell if you watch the imagery. Shuhua's in a car full of the bouquets you'd see at Korean funerals. You literally see Miyeon's body in the water. You can see his left hand on Soyeon's neck. All the members are near where they died, Yuqi's always around the stairs. Minnie figures out what is happening, the souls of the other four seem to be with her the whole time, so she survives the hit on her wedding and kills him. They are all at peace in the ending.

You are correct about Shuhua's hair! She was very adamant about not dying her hair and going for "natural beauty" `but the concept of Nxde was just so strong that Soyeon managed to convince her to dye her hair for the first time. Explanation of nxde: So (G)i-dle means something like 'young girls' in korean. Soyeon titled the song nxde to stop child pornography, so when people search nude young girls (in korean) their song comes up instead. (Soyeon is a fucking genius) The song is also about sexualisation in idols (not just idols, celebrities in general), which is a MASSIVE issue in the kpop industry.

Queencard - they're singing: "I am a queenca, you wanna be the queencard?" so basically "queenca" is a korean word used as a slang for popular and cool girls (they are basically joking with the queenca and queencard words)

Miyeon has acted in several Web Dramas, Yuqi appeared for a few moments in the Kdrama "Celebrity" and Minnie acted in a series called "So Not Worth It"

the general theory on the internet about "I Want That" MV is: that each of the girls dated this guy in the past. However each one of them had a miserable ending, Miyeon was drowned (hence why shes by the pool/in the pool/wet etc). Yuqi supposedly died by getting thrown down the stairs (which kinda gave you the visual clue of her walking away while he just looked at her like it was nothing considering he was possessive and abusive). Soyeon died by being strangled by him. Shuhua apparently died in a car crash. The last victim was going to be Minnie, however she found out about the past (hence the bloody hands and cuts on her face during her marriage and people disappearing suddenly) so she decided to save herself as well as take revenge for the other girls by killing him. the scene where shes holding the gun to his head and the other girls appear one by one holding the gun represent the victims and the revenge part (as only minnie walked in there but the other 4 girls where there in spirit with her). Which ends with minnie on the boat after fulfilling the revenge, with the other girls being there in spirit until minnie wakes up and the other girls disappear showing us that they got their revenge and are free now.

As i understood, (G)I-Dle mean 'young girls' in korean, so they called the song nxde to prevent fan searching 'nude (g)i-dle' on internet, that should have return unsafe result.

In queencard they don’t sing the word «queencard” but Korean “퀸카“ (queenca) that is slang for popular cool girl

My interpretation of I want that, is that they all got with the same man at different times and Minnie was the last. He ruined all their lives and Minnie got retribution for them all.

I Do is just so so so beautiful. The Mv was shot like an 80s American sci-fi movie. Boy these girls can act. If you want to check out their latest MV “Revenge”, I think you won’t be disappointed. Actors IDLE are on it again.

I Do and I Want That are part of their HEAT mini english album which is partnership with 88 Rising, a label that promotes Asian artists in western audiences. That's why it's not in their channel but in 88 Rising.

The movie Mean Girl in US has different title in Korea it's How to survive being a Quinka that's why they name it Queencard since it English title, the MV have many references on 2000's disney and comedy movie the lyrics was also nonsense and so dumb because Soyeon what it to be nonsense and but it's so catchy song since most of famous song on 2000's to 10's have dumb lyrics but it's so damn catchy. The story of the MV of Queencard was the total opposite of Allergy where in Allergy they're see all of the flaw or insecurities in their faces when they're looking at mirror or mirror allergy but in the queencard when they're looking at the mirrior they see them self as beautiful as they want to be

Titling it as Nxde instead of it uncensored allowed it to be unique, and most importantly, appear in the search bar when you look for it!

Personally, I do believe that in "I want that" they're all representing the same girl, but in different stages of a relationship. Miyeon in the pool makes me think of a fist date or the place they first met. Shuhua is the marriage proposal. Yuqi and Soyeon may be the married life or some stage of dating. In all of these moments we see him being nice to them and then suddlenly getting agressive, wich probably is something along the lines of red flags he was showing but they probably choose to ignore believing it was a one time thing, and the he loved them. Minnie is the part of the relationship where she woke up that he was only but hurting her, so she breaks up with him and move on, and by doing so frees the parts of her that were hurt by him, and thats why the girls are all togheter and happy by the end, even tho Minnie is tecnicaly alone. People in toxic relationships will often destroy or neglect parts of who they are either to please their abuser or even to survive the enviroment they are in, and by ending said relationships these parts can come to ligh again.

35:53 You’re spot on again here bro. Actually before the release of Allergy and the whole album, IDLE released a cast introduction video to explain the storyline of each girl in the coming MVs. Minnie is a celebrity/influencer that everyone wants to be. Hence in Soyeon saw herself as Minnie in self-conscious.

For the teaser M/V they introduce the character of each of them. All they are friends. In SMS, they also went to a party last night that I think Soyeon went to a party before the operation. In the party Soyeon thinks she is all of them especially be Minnie.

There's been a couple of months since the release of this video, but i didn't see any comments talking about the "Marilyn Monroe" reference in Nxde. In fact, the fans belive that it is a reference to Soojin, since she was a big fan of Marilyn (And many belive that the little animated girl that appears in some parts is supposed to be Soojin)

I don't know if you know that but Soyeon and Miyeon have solo mini-albums too. Soyeon's solo title track is "Beam Beam" and Miyeon's solo title track is "Drive".

contrary to what many people think of when they hear nude, my interpretation is about two meanings! one thing about others having a dirty mind, and one deeper on about being your own authentic self, bc i recall soyeon saying that what she thinks about being nude is about being yourself, and not covering up anything to hide about your personality

In my opinion Soyeon represents the insecure part of all the other girls. It's in fact Miyeon and Minnie, but when we see Soyeon it's a reminder that there's that insecure person inside. So although she's stopping traffic in that dress, she sees herself as the ugly duckling and doesn't realise why people are staring at her, same thing in the bathroom mirror in the club. She sees herself as less pretty. We know that irl Soyeon was often hated on for her looks and has struggled with it for years.

It WAS used years ago in Korea to signify the most popular girl in school (same for kingcard). After the massive success of Idle's song the term became popular again.
