J-Hope has a documentary on Amazon Prime and it shows his dance roots. He was the youngest member of the dance group Neuron before he joined BTS. He almost declined the offer but RM & Suga convinced him to join. The rest is history. The little boy is basically J-hope as a child. He was 10 when he started dancing.
Not quiet true or at least missleading. J-Hope was actually the first member signed to their label Big Hit Ent. but only later attached to the training project BTS and moved into the dorm on the 24th of december 2010. They taught him to rap - them and the other "trainees". Unfortunately not that long after the label - who had no money - decided to change the project from a Hiphop group to an Idol group. (They lost some trainees and gained others) We are not exactly sure when but probably somewhen in early 2012 J-Hope was unsure if debuting with the group was a good idea and left. RM believed that BTS would not work without him and convinced the label to take him back and J-Hope that this was a good idea to debut with BTS and to come back. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you wanna see Jhope dance, he has a new docuseries that shows him traveling to Seoul s.korea, Osaka Japan, New York, etc and dancing with famous street dancers. You can see some clips of the dancing on BangtanTv’s shorts tab.
Before J-Hope joined BTS he was a street dancer. His dance crew is called Neuron. This album and content is focused on dance. He also has a docuseries on Prime called Hope on the street. Love Love Love Neuron, it really is so beautiful. Love this whole project! As a dancer I think you'll really appreciate JHope's work. He has a docu-series that this album is an OST of. You can find the 1st 2 ep on Amz Pr1me. 1st ep is more like an intro - the 2nd ep had him connecting to a dancer in Japan known for popping - and the whole series also has Boogaloo Kin as well. Each episode is going to be a different style of dance. As for the tracks - JK's featured on "I Wonder" which is soooo good. Also love 'I Don't Know' and 'Lock/Unlock' - really locking forward to the ep in Paris focused on house and NYC for hiphop.

You have got to watch J-Hope's song "on the street" ft J Cole. A little background on this; J Cole is one of J Hope's idol who he got a lot of his inspiration from. J-Hope finally got to meet J Cole at Lalapalooza in Chicago in August of 2022, when J-Hope was headlining on the last night. So imagine meeting your inspiration for the first time. There's a video clip of the meeting on RU-vid. So, the fact that J Cole was ft on J-Hope's last song before he enlisted is just amazing. Such a special gift. J-Hope calls his world "Hope World", like J Cole is "Cole World". 💜

The channel 1theK has good subtitles for BTS early MVs like "No More Dream" but also better translations for "Fire". "Black Swan" is alway good. The channel "Enjoy BTS More" has their live stages with subtitles because lyrics matter to them.
