My kindergarten teacher wouldn’t let me lie about my bruises 35 years ago. She made sure I got out of it. 2 years after that, I was adopted by the most wonderful woman in the world (also a teacher). They both gave me my life back. My sweet mama passed a year ago tomorrow, but I will always carry on her values and vigilance. Thank you both. Take action when you see it’s needed. Bottom line.

I was mentally and emotionally abusing my wife. She left me. But never kept the kids from me. I took counseling and anger management. I told my counselor’s that she lets me see the kids. They told me this is going to be hard but stay away from them for 30 days. So I did. In the 31st I went to see my kids, my daughter ran up to me and held me tight and asked me to come back home. I fell to my knees holding her crying like a baby. The wife and I the next day had a lunch meeting. I asked her to give me one more chance and give me a year. If she doesn’t like the change I’ll agree to whatever she wants in the divorce just don’t keep the kids from me. It’s been 3 years she told me the other day that she didn’t think I would change. But she is proud of me and is proud that I was man enough to seek help. This song helped me change my ways. I never put hands on my wife or kids. But I didn’t want her to end up with someone who would.

The hardest part of being abused is when noone believes you. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. My mother was our abuser. I was always told "your mom wouldn't do that". You have to put faith in the child that they are really telling you the truth.

Rick thank you for reacting to this song, Elizabeth, thank you for requesting it. I have tried in the past to request it, but could not bring myself to. As, some of you have heard Rick talk about the horrors in my life of being a Paramedic with PTSD, One run, which could resemble the part of this song, talked about but not seen, is one of the horrors that I have faced that gave me PTSD. 10 years old is far too early to be exposed to the pain and hate that the girl I had to take to the hospital only to pass hours later. Even if you are not 100 percent sure, speak up to someone. Thanks again for the request and the reaction, God Bless you all. Also, I can only speak to the issues I have seen, I know many others have seen this as well as Police, firefighter, EMS and all Medical trades.

@robinhatcher8021
@robinhatcher8021 Год назад
@@kccolley4197 Bless you honey! Just remember this, you have to take your rose colored glasses idea of "saving everybody", OFF if your of that mindset. I was 22 when I graduated too and had the save the world mindset. Sadly enough, it just doesn't work that way. I'm 61 now and I saw way too much. Most social workers do. If you just have your BSW, go on as quick as you can, and get your masters. That way, you'll be qualified to work in alot more places. I never got my Masters as life got in my way, but an opening came about in our unit for Adult Protective Services and I jumped on it! I LOVED that! I did child welfare when unit overwhelmed and I always ended up with a CPS case during my week on call which was every 3 weeks. CPS just wasn't my nitch. APS was. I also became a Dementia specialist/trainer for state per Mental Health. And I became an international speaker regarding papers I wrote but I did that all on my own. Guard your heart, get your Masters and try real hard not to take cases home with you. That will run you nuts because you never have down time for yourself emotionally. I couldn't leave my cases on my desk from emotional standpoint. They followed me home where I tried in vain to "fix" them, then return to office with answers. Sometimes it worked, but alot of times, it didn't. Go into your cases being, sweet, kind and compassionate. Your clients will trust you more if your that way versus having the superior persona. Your considered the enemy from time you grace their door. I always opened with this after I introduced myself, " Ms. Smith, I'm here regarding a report we received, (name allegations), and I wanted to come talk to you about it to get your side of it. I want you to know from beginning that I'm not the enemy here. I'm not here to work Against you, but to work With you, as your Partner, to work this out. So knowing that now, may we get started working on this problem TOGETHER?" Many clients are not prepared for an opening like that but their trust and HOPE and you as a Partner versus Enemy, just went way up. Just keep your word and keep them in the loop at all times like a partner would do. And trust me, if your in a small county that might be more rural, word if mouth about you and your way will travel FAST! I had former clients introducing me to family and friends in THE GROCERY STORE as their WORKER! Well, confidentiality just flew out the window with THAT but my clients would say, " If you have a problem, call " Ms Robin", she will help you!" I was glad they trusted me, and it was my honor to be their friend. Sorry this so long but that's many years talking. I wish you well and may God bless you always honey. ❤️🙏

OKRICKK,+ just wanna say a few Things about how wonderful your channel is. I just wish that country music would get more of it's dues and people step up as you have. many people making fun if they listen to the songs you play they're all heart. Country music is heart and soul and life instead of making fun. I wish people would just love us just love country. Just love soul and R&B and listen to the song. Our songs are truth about Elvis in the ghetto. How about Alyssa lies from Jason Carrol? It's called tears andut Ailsa. Come on, people pull your heads out of your butt look what you're getting with rap. There's a few I love what you're sticky said. Actually, I loved Usher. I will not watch you anymore. Of course, I stop watching PDig long time ago even though it was something on the news made me sick just like Epstein weinstine He's in the same group and people that have made fun of Michael Jackson. Show me a person with thdidn't settle for money and then got on TV and said they lied and then again and again. I have been a child. Of molestation even by family member Michael Jackson, I will never believe he molested children. He loved children and he can't help the way he was raised and he can't help the way he was child like. He felt like a child and if people didn't see that he'd had monkey and playground and his for kids, no matter the color no matter the size no matter their beliefs, Michael Jackson loved children and the truth will come out like Katt Williams said 2024 is the year of truths.

Alyssa Lies is sang by Jason Michael Carroll. This song takes me back to a little girl about a year old. She was killed by her mom and stepdad due to what the Hinton West Virginia Police Sherrill called the worst form of child abuse and neglect the department ever seen. They blamed the dad he had a rock solid alibi he was at work 3 states way at the time. This happen 12 or 13 years ago

I can't imagine being a child living in fear and pain and torment every day. Wondering why or what you did or doing? Because the people that you're supposed to be able to run to when things go bump in the night or as some you have an accident and wet the bed while asleep.Or you're sick and don't make it to the bathroom. Kinda makes me wonder what goes through their little minds ? Knowing that mom and dad are supposed to love them. But instead of a of love it's fear pain and torment. Sometimes death is the outcome maybe it's just the best outcome? Maybe God steps in and says enough is enough. God knows the truth the why's. And the people that do this and commit crimes against the little children God knows who you are I also believe Just like Abels blood cried out against his brother Cane those little children's blood will cry out against Dad Mom brother or sister or the stranger Doctor that took their life's her blood will cry out against you. And God says it very clearly! And makes it clear that on that Day the Day of the great white throne judgment it would be better if you had a millstone tied around your neck and cast in the sea. Shedding the blood of innocent people sounds like it really gets God's attention❗ A real quick example is when God sent Jonah to the city of Nineveh that Jonah complained and griped everyday old and didn't want to go because he didn't like the ninevites and he wanted God to destroy thank God being a just God full of love mercy and grace explain to or ask Jonah how could he destroy twenty-five thousand individuals that didn't know their right hand from the left. John did not want to preach to the people of Nineveh because he knew that they would fall down on their knees and face and begged God to forgive and that's just what they did I think it got them an extra 250 years until they fell right back into the old ways. (sin) We the people of the United States need to fall on our knees and ask God to forgive us of our sins. Because when our cup is full of transgressions ( rape, murder, fornication, lies, backstabbing, false witnessing, cruelty, dishonoring, disrespect, hate, deceit, twisting the truth you know wrong is right and right is wrong idol worshipping, sexual deviance) and anything outside of marriage between one Man and one Woman that's God's way and that's the only way he will accept it. God is good and we look at his rules and guidelines that he sets for us. Asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins and wash them away. Following after him it's the same as going to a fancy party being treated with royalty. But the catch is there's only one road and one way in.

You know i am a man and i can usually choke back tears except when it comes to kids i feel everything all at once every emotion so i think thats why and even when i was 12 i had look forward to becoming a father i would never hurt my kids on purpose

This is a crusher along with "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride. Of course I feel bad for Alyssa, but I actually felt more hurt/anger/sad for the girl in class becuase you know she was the one removed from her situation. How many years did she suffer and now in her teens, the monstrosities are probably worse. I cannot fathom any situation where this would happen. I know it does but I cant apply any logic whatsoever to it.

When I was a little girl. My adopted mom use to whip me with a belt from the back of my neck to my legs. I had welts on them. I tried to tell my dad, and my teachers they met my mom and would tell me I was making things up. So at 14 yrs old, I grabbed my mom when she tried to hit me, and slammed her into the wall and told her, I would tear her limb from limb if she ever touched me again. she never did. She never drank alcohol, or did dope, She was just an angry person.

My father use to come home drunk and beat me with a belt every night when I was 5.Until one day I went to school and complained about my back hurting.Then my teacher lifted up my shirt and saw the bruises and cuts.The school called the police and social services .And from that day on I went to go live with my grandparents.Later on in life my mother told me why he hated me so much.She said the reason was because she named me after him after he told her not to.My little brother was just a baby when our father was a drunk so he never knew that side of him.To him he was the greatest father ever.My brother all his life thought I was a asshole for being so deviant towards our father.Not even really believing the truth after my brothers,and sisters told him the truth.

I will occasionally sing this song. I can follow his range. I was not blessed with his twang. I would love for the guys of Home Free to cover this song with Acapella as a guest vocalist.

Nobody did anything for me. They looked the other way. I was beat in front of my friends. I had to save myself when she tried to kill me at 14 in a drunken rage.

Great reaction to such a sad and true song. This was based on a true story of Alyssa. Keep exposing this.
