Girl I got stretch marks in middle school. I have the clearest memories of all the boys seeing my thighs in shorts “eww yooo what’s on your legs?” and the “so your legs literally got too fat for your skin??” I was 20-30 lbs overweight max, just had inelastic skin🙄

I have heard quite a few men who said that stretch marks are gross, that they are a turn off, won’t mess with a girl with them. Even sadder, an old friend of mine, her man left her after she had his baby cuz she got bad stretch marks from her pregnancy.

@@bethanygarcia6009 True. But a 19 yr old, what you think that did to her self confidence, self esteem, her psyche…. He’d make her wear a long shirt or like nightgown when they had sex. Until he told her he was grossed out n it wasn’t fair to “him” cuz he could only have sex with her with the lights off and her wearing clothes, n that he should be with someone who didn’t gross him out. It messed her up. She wouldn’t wear a two piece, even though she had a great body, she would never wear anything that could show her stretch marks. She’d wear shorts over bathing suit so you couldn’t see the lines in her butt. I mean for years she was really messed up from this. They were engaged, had a child together, n then to have your partner completely break you down cuz she had your child n her skin changed on 2 areas of her body. Sadly there are many guys out there like this.

As a lady with stretch marks, I’m afraid there are men who are DISGUSTED by them. One guy said to me when I reached up for something and my belly showed, “Why’d you let that happen to yourself? You know you can’t ever get rid of those.” I’d like to tell you I said, “No, but I can end this conversation,” or something cool like that, but in reality, I cried. Had several guys on dating apps ask if I’ve got stretch marks because they are “deal breakers.” So, yes, there are men who are quite cruel about them. That’s why I appreciated this comedy big so much.

I've never had a man concerned about my stretch marks but the first time anyone ever pointed them out it was another girl in 7th grade and i never forgot that shit. Only other partners that have given me any flack were butch lesbians who said "no fat girls" unironically. Damn, it could very well be something we made up about ourselves.

I lost a dear family member as a young teen and stress-ate myself until I gained 20+ pounds and had a whole mess of stretch marks (which became permanent). Later when I was about 16, I had just started dating a boy and he pointed out my stretch marks and claimed that it "means you're overweight". I was 5'5 and 115 pounds. I literally didn't wear shorts or a swimsuit for almost a DECADE after that. I know "boys" and "men" are different but just saying, it's not always a girl thing.

@@Anne-pv9cb A lot of girls in 7th grade had stretch marks because most of us had gone through puberty by that time. I’d already had a woman’s body for five years at that point as I’d developed first out of my classmates. Stretch marks are not at all uncommon at that age.

I got stretch marks on my boobs because they natural grew and they're not even as big as many other girls/women. People need to get out of their heads of the stereotype that stetch marks are due to pregnancy or drastic weight changes. Just simply going through puberty can do that...

I personally haven't met a man who said it, but I know fears about aging, changing appearance etc come from the fact that we're told that the main thing that matters is how we look. These dating gurus who're guys, magazines, well meaning friends, and really bad exes- everything directed at socialising women reinforces those fears. Make-up tutorials now teach you how to alter your appearance so you can look like an Instagram filter in real life. So, it's natural to go from 'I need to be my prettiest' to 'my breasts are too small' to 'these stretch marks just lowered my 'value'', cos we're told in lots of different ways that we are a rapidly deteriorating commodity.

I feel like Friday After Next didn't do as much for Katt's career as his specials. Friday After Next was mostly forgettable and poorly reviewed by critics as well as fans. Pimp Chronicles on the other hand is loved by everyone and has so many quotables and memes that people still use to this day.

I thought things like stretch marks were problems from tv commercials that I had seen many years before I ever dated. I didn’t even know what they were or where you got them, but the commercials said they were “unsightly” and said how they had creams to make them go away fast
