Masterpiece is absolutely the right word. I've probably listened to it literally 100 times since it dropped. This is what musical genius looks, sounds, smells, and tastes like. Brilliant
Ronnie is a powerhouse of an artist. Incredibly versatile here are a few of my personal favorites: Watch the world burn Popular monster Voices in my head Zombified The trilogy- Losing my mind Losing my life Drugs The drug in me is you, the drug in me is reimagined (best to listen to both in one sitting) I’m not a vampire, I’m not a vampire (revamped) -same listen to both in one sitting Carry on Coming home Rolling stone Raised by wolves Just to name a few of Ronnie’s best songs
Yes, the original fits for a younger angrier person, this is more for a older melancholy person. The first one cam out when I was a teen, now in my 30’s it’s like it matured at the same rate
@@kriswelanetz9537came here to say pretty much the same When I first heard Papa Roach, back in 2008 or 2009, I was in my early teens and... Jesus freaking Christ, how relatable the lyrics with that instrumental were. Like, "This is what is hurting me and I'm gonna burn it to ashes", ykwim? Now, in my late 20s and after going through some sh*t, Ronnie's version is just perfect for me. Same lyrics but such a different feeling and, holy hell, it still hits hard asf and is just as relatable lol
Ronnie is the lead singer, he is known for combining multiple genres of music together that shouldn’t work together. (Rap and rock) or (classical and rock) there is always a rock element but every last song is completely different than the last.
To me the lyrics hit harder. I think in the original most people, me included, only ever remembered the catchy chorus and it never clicked with me as serious topic. Teen angst sure but it just never hit as a serious song.
Ronnie Radhke from falling in reverse is the singer . You should check out how he reimagined his own song the drug in me is you !!! Check out the original first then the reimagined version you won’t be disappointed!!
The original was by Papa Roach and there's a video out there of Ronnie showing the singer of Papa Roach (Jacoby) the unmastered version and being so nervous.
Ronnie Radke is just an amazing musical genius. He can do literally anything from rap to rock to hardcore metal to ballads. He also writes most of their original music lyrics and plays a few instruments. And they don't hold back on the budget for their music videos, they are always so epic. New sub here from South Africa 🤘
So glad you got to react to this one! Ronnie Radke (The singer and mastermind behind the band Falling in Reverse) is phenomenal. And you know what? He can rap - I mean, really rap - as well. @HalfBloodPrincess437 gave you a comprehensive list of songs which you should really react to (yes, all of them). Oh, and if you do the trilogy (you should), then do it in the given order, starting with Losing my mind. If you want more songs like this, though, you should check out his other reimagined songs ('The Drug in me is Reimagined' and 'I'm Not a Vampire (Revamped)').
My cousin took her life with an overdose... this was probably how she felt in the end... Love ya cuz, glad you're not in pain anymore, but we all miss you!
Same words, two very different songs. This kicks my ass every time I hear it again. I CAN NOT wait for you to hit some of his other reimagined stuff. I’m Not a Vampire and The Drug In Me Is You. Treat yo-self
I am completely addicted to this song. It is a masterpiece and really insane by how good it is. I lost my mom about a year ago which obviously makes it hit much harder. But the changes within the song are so perfect. And the emotion and feeling that comes through in Ronnie's voice is ridiculous.
The lyrics of this song have never been given the flowers they deserved until this rendition. This cover was also given the blessing of the original writer and band, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach.
I rank this up there with the likes of Disturbed's Silence, FFDP's Gone Away, or Johnny Cash's Hurt where the cover/reimagine version brings a completely new vibe to an already stellar song and equally delivers.
Im sorry, i don’t remember much of what happened in this video, all I remember was constantly saying “ she is fucking beautiful “ atleast 17 times . I will have too cover your camera on my next watch😅
Another classic from Ronnie. If you like would like something a little different, that will blow your mind, i would heartily suggest "kansas City" by Dirt Miller. Thank you for sharing your reactions with us
This version is out of this world super good. I love this version better to be honest with so much emotion and creativity video with orchestra, piano, and falling buildings. It tugs at my heart ❤️ so much, and I want to cry throughout the song and video.
The original will always be a favorite song of mine but this reimagined version is so much better you can feel the lyrics better in this song then the original but I still love the original
