The first artist to do this type of show with full choreography - we hadn't seen anything like it before Madonna. More stamina than anyone today - dancing/moving non stop - and actually singing. No matter what people think of her today, she was a pioneer - and is a total Legend !

She actually does shop at thrift stores for some of her clothes, at least back in the days. I remember listening to her in an interview, telling the interviewee, that what she was wearing, she bought at a thrift store in North Hollywood.

The ironic speech at the first beginning OMG remembers me the same she said with Dick Clark on the Holiday music video that she wanted to rule the world before she did! I was 7 years old when this song came out in the 80s. That was such a huge decade of music. During that time we had Madonna, Price, Michael Jackson, Guns N Roses and many greats all either on constant rotation on the radio. Or them touring.

I was teenager in the 80’s when Madonna exploded into the MTV phenomenon of music videos and FM radio. Lady and gentlemen there was a lot a lot of dancing in music videos during the 89’s & 90’s. So much fun to watch. This video was apart of Madonna’s first American tour.

Amazon's performances are amazing and make you feel so alive. I've seen her almost 20 times in concert and it is a life-changing experience. The choreography on some of the tours is mind blowing, performances like keep it together from The blonde Ambition tour and one of my personal favorites into the group from who's that girl tour my first tour I ever saw from anyone. You really need to watch more of her performances and the suggestions in the comments. It will change you!

Well, here her backup dancers are her backup singers and the only tour that she had male backup singers. I was 15yrs old when she came out in 1983, and I truly feel sorry for the younger generations that did not get to grown up with Madonna from the beginning.

This is a cute performance, but you should really check out Like A Prayer (Paris 1990) and Express Yourself (VMAs 1989). And if you want energy, Hung Up (Confessions Tour 2005). Oh, and if you like guitars, "Gambler" from this tour or "I Love New York" (2005) but only after you react to the more classic ones haha.

The amazing thing about Madonna beside the hardcore dancing is the empowering thing that she projects her energy without worrying and making it to please MEN, unlike Beyonce for example...
