Mori is from the Philippines, of course! Like Katrina Velarde, Gigi de Lana, Elaine Durane (and Olivia Rodrigo!). Mori is Asia‘s Phoenix! And you are right, she is a master of vocal dynamics: high and long 14 sec belts and soft and intricate, very gentle vocals on the other hand in the beginning and the end of a song. She always gives us the full range!

This is her original written by a famous person in the Philippines by the name of KIKO SALAZAR, she has recently had a Disney song written for her for the introduction of Disney+ in the Philippines called IMAGINE MORE, she is only the 2nd Filipino behind the great LEA SALONGA to have a Disney song to her credit, can I just say she DEFINITELY isn't American she's 💯% Filipino, born in the province of CEBU Philippines, she was born on the 2nd of June 1996, her Dad named her after ALANIS MORISSETTE who was her Dad's favourite ARTIST, she turned professional at the age of 14 so she had to move to Manila to fulfill hers dreams, if you want to see the real Morissette just her 10th anniversary CONCERT which she did last year, the concert is on her and her husband DAVE LAMARS RU-vid channels, the concert is split up into 5 parts and it's all there to view for FREE, she's absolutely magnificent, I've been following her for nearly 5 years now and I keep finding content of hers that I haven't seen and I watch her everyday, in fact only last night I found her THIS IS ME CONCERT that I didn't know existed and she did this when she was only 18yrs old, she's recently put out a BRUNO MARS MEDLEY which is absolutely phenomenal, also a ROCK MEDLEY she performed on the Mitsubishi stand at the Philippines motor show, she's does the great ARETHA FRANKLIN No's like no one else could ever do other than the Great WOMAN HERSELF, her 1st big CONCERT, her MORISSETTE MADE is pure gold, her finale song AND I AM TELLING YOU is the best rendition of that song you will ever hear, her O HOLY NIGHT she done on Xmas 2020 is a pure masterpiece, I could go on and on about the amount of content she has on her various platforms but I would be here till doomsday so good luck with that one, lots of love from her biggest fan here in Liverpool England 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

It is through this song "Akin Ka Na Lang" that I discovered her, was amazed by her, and have been a fan ever since. This is her original song, written by Francis Salazar as a contest piece for a TV song competition in 2014 and she chose Morissette to interpret it because he saw her talent and potential. Here is an elite, Apex level, international caliber, singer right here. Morissette Amon is one of the top 5 to 8 Pop singers of all time. I saw Whitney, Celine, Mariah, live, in their Apex level singing eras - Morissette is their equal, at least. FTR, I am a retired professional music critic with 45+ years experience and this is one of the top 10 to 12 live Pop singer performances of all time. It is that good.

Just make note of how long two of her runs were in this song. That whistle note run was a total of about 14 seconds and then shortly thereafter she had a 16 second belt note. Too amazing. I'm really hoping you react to her cover of I wanna know what love is as that one will leave you shocked also.
