This song knocked Regulus out of my fav spot but Regulus, Rain to Be, Veronica and End of Spring are all such amazing songs too. You'll love all of them.
There are very few groups that I will say truly have no bad songs, but Onewe is one of them. Their B-sides are just as good as their title tracks. They really are a group the deserves more recognition for how incredibly talented they are, and how good their music is.
Fun fact: Dongmyeong (keyboard/vocals) has a twin brother Xion who is a member of Oneus. Onewe/Oneus did a collab, definitely think you should check it out or any other Onewe song. Oh, these guys are absolutely incredible, but that's really no surprise as they're rbw artists... every artist under that label is beyond impressive. But the biggest thing is they put themselves together before joining an agency... the guys on the instruments are two pairs of best friends from school that formed a band together. They were chosen as the backup band for a singing contest and then proceeded to ask the winner of said contest to join as their lead singer, despite him being several years older than them. And he accepted. They had a bit of a rough ride, debuting under a different name under a different agency, then that falling through and becoming trainees again at rbw for several years. (The keyboardist is the twin brother of one of the oneus members, who as a trainee managed to get his brother's whole band to join them as trainees. So the two groups are literal brother groups, as well as figurative) All of their music is absolutely worth checking out and each one has a pretty different feel with the music he writes. All five have written, but you'll mostly see stuff from the lead singer, the guitarist and the bassist/rapper They're also not just involved with songwriting, but composing and even producing for themselves and others. Big examples include cya, the bassist/rapper producing and performing a song with the two rappers of oneus and working on some of purple kiss's music (he also was the guy that passed out at the end of "zombie"). They also are involved with performances from their fellow rbw artists (such as 3/5 being in moonbyul's first performance for her singing show or the guitarist working with solar on one of her performances on a tv show) and involving the other artists in their works ("end of spring" has oneus, predebut purple kiss and even alexa in the mv) On top of their own songs, which i'll let othere make suggestions from, you should definitely check out their covers, esp to songs you already know (such as mamamoo's "hip"). They make the songs their own without trying to erase the creativity of the originals. Also, cannot miss the song they performed with alexa to hear the softer side of them all (esp alexa). "Never let you go" is alexa's song they did together. But i'd save that until after getting deeper into onewe and prob'ly alexa too
It was Dongmyeong who talked Xion into auditioning. The former agency was Modern K music Academy where Kanghyun and Harin and later Cya first met. They were introduced by a counselor because they were the youngest there and didn't have any friends. Both Solar and Na Goen claim Modern K as their alma mater and Kim Hyun-kyu, the principal of Modern K is one of the staff producers at RBW so I don't think I would describe it as falling through. I'm not sure just how deep the relationship between Modern k and RBW is but Mamamoo, Onewe, and Purple Kiss have all done miniconcerts there and Modern K has uploaded the videos to U-Tube. One of them even has MAS0094, the original Onewe, backing Mamamoo up before joining RBW. I haven't done the math, but I think the first time they backed Mamamoo up at an awards show performance was as MAS0094.

I love Onewe's music so much !! If you want to hear more of them I would recommend - Montage (kind of the same vibe, but even more like hardrock ?) , - Rain to be (the MV is SOO INSANE !! and the song is quite at a fast pace, it shows off their skills in many ways), - Regulus (more like a rock ballad, softer side of them) - Universe (most recent album title track, prepare tissues because this one is emotional TT) - Omg and Star !! Such a beautiful song, love it so much The Vocals are ofc out of this world. Yonghoon (Main vocalist) is gifted with an amazing voice. But I also love the harmonies, and the rap a lot ! I think they really know how to compose and write songs that puts all of their strenght under the right spotlight. I also am so impressed by their skills as instrumentist. Harin is a crazy drummer and Kanghyun... I have absolutely no words to describe how this man is my greatest inspiration to play guitar. Cya's bass lines are always so good and his LED 5 string bass is so cool ! Also you couldn't see it here but Dongmyeong (vocalist + keyboard) also plays the keytar !! They are self formed and they ALL take parts in writing and composing. Anyways what a wonderful talented, hard working group. For real their discography is immaculate !

before i got into kpop i listened mostly to rock/indie/alt bands instead of pop artists, and that's exactly why onewe caught my attention. for whatever reason i cry everytime i hear "aurora", the melody just flows into my veins. i was hoping for the longest time that you check them, and so it finally happened and i'm so freakin glad you liked them!!! i'll be excited if you check more of their songs!!! once again, thank you for your reaction and your analyses
So happy you checked out Onewe they are without a doubt my favourite K-Band and just one of my favourite groups in general, really hope you check out some more by them. i would recommend Q ft Hwasa because i know you love her (they have also done a few Mamamoo covers which are good) i also know you love lyrics and storytelling and these guys are absolute poets i recommend Reminisce about all and A book in memory, two of my favourites, and for a really great music video i recommend Rain to be its amazing.

Listening to a ONEWE song is always an amazing experience. They bring you to their space whenever they sing and play their instruments as if you're with them. I get lost to their music whenever their playlist is up.

okay watched a video ty for reacting to onewe once again🤧 they are incredible, so talented they are self formed, the formation story is very interesting and wholesome, like they were destined to be in one group and they are also self producing - onewe are the main lyricists/composers for all of their songs except just one this song is their guitarist's kanghyun's song, it's a bside from their "planet nine: alter ego" album the members are: yonghoon, main vocalist and leader, honestly one of the best vocalists out there (arguably the best one, at least to me), you should watch their life performances some day kanghyun, guitarist (ex leader, but that's a whole another conversation including mas0094 etc), he is insane with the guitar harin, drummer, he is so skilled dongmyeong, keyboardist/keytarist and 2nd vocalist with the sweetest vocals cya (pronounced key-ah), bassist, rapper, a genius maknae hope u will react to onewe more, choose any song, u won't be wrong, they are one of the 2 groups whose discography I consider to be golden - they produce no skips, only masterpieces but if I was to recommend a few for a new listener I would suggest parting, universe, montage_, rain to be, ring on my ears,.. the list goes on a actually

Thank you for this reaction! I'm here after watching your Still Here reaction, and I'm so glad this was your first introduction to them. Between the two songs, I think you seen a good chunk of what they can do both lyrically and musically. They're all so insanely talented and great at what they do, and they always have an intense passion for music. I love how you picked out the details in the MV and how they matched the lyrics. Even when their MVS are more simple, I appreciate the videographer for putting those details in. Some fun background on the song itself: This song was composed and written by the guitarist, Kanghyun, who has a love for all things space and skies. This is one of their more intense song in vocals because he specifically wanted to compose a song with a strong chorus that the main vocalist, Yonghoon, could really show off in. Kanghyun's lyrics are often poetic and abstract in nature, and his composition style matches his spacey themes with delicate guitar melodies throughout. The bassist and rapper CyA, writes his own lyrics for the rap portions, but he's matched Kanghyun's lyrics perfectly imo. Aurora is referring to an aurora borealis as you searched up, and the song is a representation both lyrically and melodically of how an aurora ebbs and flows in the sky. People often describe it as breathtaking sight that is bright enough to light up the sky, and he's written it as a metaphor for a colorful and bright love. This song tends to blow people away on first listen and is such a great showcase of thier skills. The high notes , the harmonization, synth and bass, the drum fills, and last but definitely not least the shredding guitar solo, is such a unique and intense experience. I hope you manage the time to listen to more of their music!

Oh man, the way I shouted at the screen when you said that you thought Harin (the drummer) reminded you of Han! That was my exact thought the first time I saw Harin in an MV. He really does have similar features to Han in the lower face (and imo he has the eyes of Young K, vocalist/bassist of Day6). Also, Dongmyeong is indeed pretty sassy. I absolutely adore Onewe. They're Oneus's twin band, among other reasons because Xion in Oneus and Dongmyeong (the keyboardist and vocalist) are fraternal twins. Onewe are an incredible band and they're even better live they can hold a two hour and a half concert performing their entire discography and end up looking fresh as dasies. The main vocalist, Yonghoon, has One of the greatest voices in kpop and Is the most adorable person ever. They write their own music and play multiple instruments. Sadly, both Yonghoon and Kanghyun (the guitarist) recently enlisted. I miss them so much already. Hope you'll listen to more from them. I love all the songs. My favorites are A book in memory (I never make It through without crying) and Veronica. It's also my daughter's name and it's an amazing mood booster. Thank you for reacting to Onewe. This song was a masterpiece. My first experience of this song was so strong because their live concert was insane. Still, I remember how I felt. I watched fan videos of that stage countless times. After 3 months they came up with an audio version with another banger album. Honestly, whatever song choose will be awesome. Their songs are meaningful. I just fell in love with them at first sight. I highly recommend Regulus and this song was my first listened song from them.

The sassy guy you pointed out...that's legit the most accurate description of Dongmyeong. He's an icon. Like his eyes show it all...the windows to his soul. Aurora is actually talking about that exact light phenomenon, also known as the northern lights. Also you should def check out more from Onewe...this song actually has a partner song, 'Veronica', they were released like 1-3 days apart and are supposed to contrast but complement each other.
