I was about 14 yo when i have first listened to this album, and i didn't understand much of it then, but i'm still enjoyed this album. And while i was listening to it, from time to time through years and years, i was able to understand some of it, but still not all of it. And it's nice to see how your knowledge and understanding becomes better through years. I'm still don't understand that much of it, but i don't want to google what every word means, cuz it's not that fun, like being able to understand some of the lines by yourself. The fun part is that i'm 26 yo now, and the song "In shit" have become so relatable to me in so many ways. If it wasn't for this video, i wouldn't even notice it. There is a trilogy by Strugatsky brothers consisting of Inhabited island (Обитаемый остров), Beetle in the anthill (Жук в муравейнике) and Waves dampen the wind (Волны гасят ветер), which is surprisingly relatable for modern Russia. If english translation of those books exist, I highly recommend you reading them. This trilogy is kinda considered a classic. The fact oxxxy referenced this book kinda tells you that in terms of content and meaning he digs rly deep and cares more about the message than charts or sales.

And in the end, that we all seem to be the same hamster in a bulbulator, to which no one will come to the rescue, because they are afraid for their own skin.
