Ren loves reaction channels! He’s independent and the more traction he gets from reactors, helps him immensely with subscribers and people listening to his music.
I love that you said Ren sounded like Damien Marley about two mins before he broke out into some Damien Marley. Boom! You good! This was on the streets of Brighton. I doubt Ren will be going on tour any time soon. He has been in Canada for the past 5-6 months getting daily treatment to try to reverse 10+ years of misdiagnosed Lyme Disease ... he said yesterday on his livestream that he is starting to see some overall improvement. We're all rooting for him. Thanks for another fab reaction! ♥
Brighton is a seaside town 50 miles south of London. There's another video from the same time covering Earned it/Man's World /Falling, a better display of Sam's amazing falsetto.
Honestly all the busking with Ren and Sam and The Big Push. None of it disappoints. I love your reaction Britt. Too much 🔥🔥🔥 Ren really hit that reggae different. I think it's his voice and passion. And Sam's voice and choices are chefs kiss
Cover of a Police song originally recorded in 1979. Sting (bass player and lead vocalist of The Police) wrote this one night when he was really drunk in a hotel. He kept singing to himself "Walking around the room" next day he changed it to Moon because in his own words "the original title was stupid".
Britt!! I have just watched your Chalk Outlines, How to be Me & now Sam T and Ren busking reactions and Wow Girl, lovely breakdown/ analysis - You are in sync with the RENaissance vibe, which now means I am about to Like and Subscribe!! No diggitty 😅 Sending you Peace and 💜 from the 🇬🇧 ps More Ren & collabs when you get the chance ✌🏼
This brings back memories of when a young lady would look at me with those same eyes…never actually happened but it could have…no it really could not have happened. So… “I ain’t trippin”. “Just Keepin it 100”. Did I say that right?
Having ADD also, I find it really easy to listen to Ren. You can tell he also has it, he very rarely does the same pattern over and over. It's always a change up. I could see you really really liking Bonobo or Massive Attack. Walking on the moon was a song by the Police.
I love this.. Sting has a voice with an almost Reggae vibe. I also liked how Ren continues to play the same chords as used in Walking on the Moon through this whole piece..I definitely noticed he was still doing it through Sam's No Diggity section. PERFECT mashup.
Shamefully, I only got into his music after I moved from Brighton to London. I have to admit I pushed past the crowd to get to North Street on this day. Yet to come across him busking in Brighton since. Am now kicking myself.
That's Brighton, not London. Brighton's a town on the South Coast of England. It's pretty bohemian and arty. It's been Ren's hometown for most of his adult life. He loves it there! I can understand why. It's a pretty cool, accepting and chill place. Btw, although not London, London's only about an hour away by car. :)
You've got to react to The Big Push when they mashup both Bob Marley and Damian Marley, and also throw in Dead Prez just because they can. Ren sang all 3.
He has a following even out on the streets. He announces on social media the place and time they will busk. He spoke once on a live stream that they were a bit late and so many were already waiting for him, the police had come and closed off and rerouted traffic when they seen it was The Big Push.
