Little suggestion: when it comes to Seventeen, the dance practices are often better than the actual M/Vs. Personally, I fell in love with these deeply talented dorks with the dance practice for "Aju Nice", 2016, soooo original , so different from every other kpop choreo! yes, please don't miss the dance practices, their dance routines and performance is too good to miss! the MVs are interesting and fun to see, so you can watch those first, you'll also get to hear the song first that way. but i feel like it's not finished when you haven't seen the full dance since it's one of their strongest points. so i suggest you react to the dance practice of a particular song right after the MV. you'll also get to focus more on the dance that way since you've heard the song before~

Seventeen is from Pledis Entertainment. The guys spent time training which was documented in a tv show called 17tv. The group was originally 17 members in training to debut but 4 individuals left for various reasons. The remaining 13 had to work real hard basically promote themselves and pass many training missions and obstacles for a chance to debut. The company was on the verge of bankruptcy at the time due to many poor decisions. The group stuck with the name Seventeen using the following reason. 13 members + 3 sub units working as one whole team so 13 + 3 + 1. They almost did not get to debut but finally got their debut and became the companies biggest success. The 13 members are S.coups he is the leader of the group. He was originally a vocalist but had a love for Hip Hop so asked to be a member of the Hip Hop Unit and a rapper. He is the oldest member, he likes sports, video games and plays dad to the other members. He likes to get hype during live shows and advocates for many causes one of those being LGBTQ rights. Seventeen is a group that produces, composes and writes their music PLUS they also choreograph their dances. There’s 13 of them, they are called Seventeen because there was mean to be 17, but some left. So they went with a new meaning, 13 members + 3 units but they are 1 team, that equals 17. Also, they are always in sync, all of them have said that they are all perfectionists, they practice a lot and a lot until they are actually happy with the dance, sometimes even changing the dance a little.

It took me several months of listening and more than one series of member guides to discover my bias. Everyone in Seventeen has major bias potential. They have an amazing variety of personalities so, if you're still undecided, I recommend looking into each of them individually to see who captivates you the most!
Choosing a bias is the hardest. I have known Seventeen since debut, but I just have found my bias with this comeback - and I don't know how, may be just felt. My bias is Wonwoo (you can hear him in the beginning of "Fear"), but I think that the other members are my bias wreckers

For “FEAR” - I can’t express enough how excited i am to boys back, teasers and photos were literally slaying me. I don’t know about anyone else but I know don’t see them as poison at all. This title song is of their 3rd full album ‘An Ode’. The track was co-written by fellow member & producer Woozi along with fellow members Leader S.Coups and Vernon. It has a darker theme than their previous upbeat themes and tempos, which brings us a new look and tempo to talk about their fear of being poison to loved ones and fans. I am really liking this new track and album! Their “Don’t Wanna Cry” talks about the disappearance of a loved one, either he/she left them because of a break up or they are just disappeared without trace. They’re searching and didn’t find that person, even went to the last place they visited while with that person but still couldn’t find any clues. This track contains duality from seventeen’s “I’m okay (I’m not okay)”, which means they are trying hard to hide feelings from other, even if their heart didn’t want to. The lyrics that says “When half of me is gone, How can I live as one?”, it means they are wish and want that someone to return because they can’t live without them.
and then, there was a continuous song related to "Don't Wanna Cry", it's called " Without You" so, the ending pose for the DWC is the opening pose for Without You. and the ending pose for Without You is the opening pose for Clap.
They are a self produced group, Woozi (their shortest member) is the one who does mostly all of the songs but the other members participate in the production process as well (like the rap line) Hoshi creates the choreographies with the help of the dance unit as well

It took me ages to pick a bias because of how amazing they all are. Often I’m drawn to the ones I feel I want to protect or something in their voice or movements. Some groups it’s instant but Seventeen took a lot of watching guides and clips to get to know them more. I settled on Jeonghan who I was trying not to pick as a lot of mine seem to be visuals, but I couldn’t stop thinking about him. He both impresses me and makes me laugh so much at how smart he is and good at cheating and I love how caring he is, too. Definitely recommend watching guides as others have suggested. Sadly the guides for the separate units don’t exist anymore which is a shame as they included so much more than the one guide on everyone does. Hope you enjoy more of Seventeen’s music as well as getting to know them. Once you know them better I recommend watching some of the videos that feature them and Monsta X together :)

My bias choosing was actually simple: I love their songs, so I bias the composer/producer (Woozi). Plus he's such a little grump that's it is hard not to love him. However, I love them all, there's not a single member I don't adore
When I'm getting to know them I only have 1 bias but then when I watched their videos I got 2 biases and then I've been a fan since their "Home" comeback until now "Fear" comeback I can finally say I got 4 biases and all of them are bias wrecker and I swear it's really hard to pick bias in this group 😄💜❤
