Shania is gorgeous. The video of this song pays homage to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" and "Simply Irresistible" videos where Palmer is out front and beautiful women playing instruments are behind him. in her video she's up front and she has beautiful men playing instruments behind her, all dressed in a similar fashion to Palmer's video. Not sure I could crush on a woman much harder than Shania. Simply stunning.

Shania Twain is a huge Canadian singer songwriter with lots of hit songs. She is one of the best selling artists in country pop history. She had a very tragic life, lost her mom & stepfather in 1987 & had to look after her younger siblings. In 1993 she released her first album & the rest, as they say, is history. Some of her hits are "From This Moment On", "That Don't Impress Me Much", ""Your Still The One", "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!", "Forever & For Always" etc.

Her life story is compelling. Her dad was native indian, Shania is a girl's name of Native American origin-believed to be Ojibwa-and means “I'm on my way.” She grew up dirt poor in northern Canada. Her parents died in a car crash when she was a teenager forcing her to raise her brothers and sisters. She played and sang in bars as a teen. It's storybook rags to riches stuff, there are a couple of documentaries out there well worth watching. She is a feminist icon. Watch "You Don't Impress Me Much"

You want to hear a great love song by her, listen to "Still the One" I have my daughter on camera singing this song in a diaper. This singing stuck with her and now she is 25 and sings songs from Hank Williams to Loretta Lynn, from the Carpenters to SWV and En Vogue. Shania mean , " on my way " she from Canada. She married Robert (mutt) Lang, music producer , produced ACDC group plus other big name bands; Shaina first album was from Nashville and only one song on that album was written by her. You should listen," Black eyes Blue tears" she wrote this song about her mom and abusive husband. It's a sad but strong lyric song.

the song and video (original video) featured an all male band and what, at lease some women thought, were "hunks" with their tight pants, mesh shirts and abs and all. The video was was made in response to a song/video from Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love" (1985) in which it was an all female band with some transparency to their clothing and moving in unison while playing their instruments and without expression. Shania was massively popular around 2000 because she was "country," but, simular to Taylor Swift, she had a sound that appealed to pop radio as well. Even my wife's pastor Dad has trouble not watching the music video for this song, lol.
