One cool thing about coming down is that in the chorus Abel says “i always want you when I’m coming down” and he has a song on echoes of silence called the fall where he says “i ain’t scared of the fall I’ve felt the ground before” but on after hours on his song until i bleed out he says “I can’t explain why I’m terrified, I’m so terrified. Well, i don’t wanna touch the sky no more i just want to feel the ground when I’m coming down it’s been way too long”

you can either strip to the weeknd or cry your eyes out to him, that's the best way to describe his music 😂😂

I first started listening to him in 2016 when he released the starboy album. I had never heard of this guy before, but i tought starboy was good so i started checking out his other stuff. I had heard High for this before, and had been looking for it for ages. I listened to all his songs in one night, and that kids, is how my addiction started. But for real tho, this man can do it all. His lyrics are deep and good. And his voice, don't get me started. Especially in the Trilogy collection and Kiss land, just amazing. Also heard him live, he really can sing. Even tho that were on his starboy tour, he sang Wicked Games and i think i had goosebumps for a month.

This is his best album of all time..

“I’ve never heard him sound like this before” “he just sounds so different” because that is THE Weeknd. All his new albums are the pop version of him which in essence is still the same guy he’s just crossed over. In his song rolling stone he talks about making the transition it’s an ode to the core of his fanbase and calling in the new people that are about to discover him.
