Many of them work for Disney World. (Voices of Liberty.) They sing Disney of course, but they also sing broadway and Christmas songs. Jamey Ray is one of the Tenors and he arranges all of their music. Disney Show Stoppers features some of the men and Mr. Grinch features the Basses.
I just love the look of joy and awe you show as you enjoy the works. Voctave is exceptional and harkens back to classical acapella (i.e. before beat boxing became common place). Keep up the reactions.
Welcome to the world of acapella. Currently my favorite genre. 1st time on your channel. I’ll subscribe as soon as I finish this comment. I loved the look of awe on your face. That amazing soprano is Kate Lott. I find it amazing that she can go so high and sound beautiful. Great reaction!
Loved your reaction. Voctave is unique in the a cappella world. The size of the group, the complexity of their arrangements (sometimes employing 7, 8, 9-part harmony), and their incredible vocal skills are their trademarks. You can listen to anything they sing and be impressed, but I would recommend you check out their version of Mary, Did You Know which features Mark Lowry who wrote the lyrics to the song.
Welcome to acapella master class😉 I was hoping you would pull your daughter up and let her listen. 😁 Now that the ladies have had their turn, listen to the guys on Heroes and Villains. Then check out the ensemble on Prince of Egypt medley.
That first soprano is the fabulous Kate Lott. I had the privilege of hearing her perform with the Voices of Liberty at the American Pavillion in EPCOT at WDW. And she is just as good in a live performance.. The best part? She is just as nice as you could imagine. We spoke for a few minutes after the show and Kate was gracious and kind to a tongue-tied, thoroughly bewitched grandma. Thank you for an honest, interesting reaction. Don't worry about the kids...we are all willing to cut you a bit of slack because you have kiddos. And those who are not can find another channel to watch.
Congratulations!!! you have found Voctave - THE Greatest Acapella Gorup on the Planet. I assure you, no matter what you choose to watch performed by Voctave, you will absolutely LOVE it!
As others have stated, I loved your sincere and heartfelt reaction to this. In todays world where acapella is making a come back, Voctave is in a league of their own. They have a ton of material out there to view and I hope to see more of your reactions to them. Never apologize for being a good mom. Ebony is always welcome. Kids should develop their ear for music from good sources.
I love Voctave and agree with you that they don't get the same attention as the other groups. Your reactions are great and I have now watched every one of your Voctave videos. Hope you do more!
Delightful reaction! Goose bumps every time I hear that. Jamie Rey really outdid himself on that arrangement. Welcome to Voctave--they are absolutely spectacular. Check out their tribute to John Williams (The Great Movie Medley).
Please Samantha, react to VOCTAVE grupe singing "Mary diz you know and Movie Medley". thank you and congratulations for the exceptional channel. Kisses from Brazil😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Samantha, here is the link to one of Voctave's recordings on their latest album, "Goodnight My Someone". The song is "Blackbird", a cover of Paul McCartney's composition: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ipi1cDoXVbw.html The lyrics are a bit mysterious but Voctave's arrangement courtesy of Jamey Ray is stunning. For this recording, there was a change within the 11 member A Cappella group. Tony De Rosa, the guy doing the directing in the "Disney Princess Medley", and J. C. Fullerton, one of the basses had left the group. Drew Ochoa replaced Tony and Aaron Stratton replaced J. C.
What do you get if some Disney Princesses pickup Musical Instruments and perform to a Live audience. LOVEBITES A Frozen Serenade 2021 LIVE in Tokyo with lyrics

Doesn't matter how many times I hear this, I always tear up. Mostly part of being a trans woman, pre anything, and hearing the iconic song from mulan about wondering when my true reflection appears
