The instrument is called Koto, you can find similar instruments all over the far east and even in central Asia, I think it belongs to the zither family of instruments.

I don't know how accurate the translation is, but this is a piano only version in English - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cdYKj2PvnZE.html As for this video, the vocalist, Yuko Suzuhana sings using the traditional Shigin style. Beni Ninagawa plays the Shamisen (3 stringed banjo lookalike) Kiyoshi Ibukuro plays the Koto (horizontal harp) Daisuke Kaminaga plays the Shakuhachi (bamboo flute) Kurona plays the Wadaiko or Taiko traditional drums Wasabi plays Drums Asa plays Bass Machiya plays Guitar

You pronounce it perfectly. Senbonzakura (Thousand sherry blossom) is one of their biggest hits, from their first album Vocalo Zanmai (2014) The song is taken from Vocaloid and is actually a cover of Hatsune Miku. This song is about the westernization of Japan, which happened during the Meiji Restoration. Despite having an upbeat, oriental track, the song contains rather dark themes, mentioning guillotines and ICBMs. In addition, the lyrics state things such as "Songs of lament go unheard" and "This is a banquet inside a steel jail cell". ("Kevin Reyes" provided additional information on one of my previous comments) It's also a homage to an incident during the Showa Era called "February 26 Incident", which was a coup attempt by young officers of the Imperial Japanese Army, but it was eventually suppressed and led to the execution of the coup leaders and the eventual militarization of the government that spearheaded the Pacific Theater of WWII

WagakkiBand ended its contract with Avex in June 2019 and signed a global contract with Universal Music. Currently, Avex-owned music videos other than live footage are definitely blocked if used as is. When checking out WagakkiBand, choose live footage or a music video owned by Universal Music and it won't be blocked.
