I still cant believe to this day "I dont miss you” is a bside. Completely deserved that promotion + mv. Also highly recommend their bsides : pandora, payday, round&round and scaredy cat (all of them has performance videos and the lyrics video for round & round!)
the best thing about woo!ah! is that they post a choreography video for all their bsides: payday, round & round, scaredy cat and pandora. they are all so good, you should definitely check it out
I really feel like Don't Miss U could've been a breakthrough hit for them if it was a title track! I don't usually like teen crush or cute concepts but it was perfectly produced and performed. Hoping they see see success with Catch the Stars, its in my opinion their best title so far and a super unique sound for modern kpop.
Agree with every word. "I don't miss you" is a masterpiece that is only held back by the group being under the radar. And catch the stars is truly the best title track, and all the girls have a chance to shine in it i feel
The rapper you liked is called Lucy! Also, I find it interesting how opinions can split on some songs. I'm not a huge fan of Purple but I absolutely adore Catch the Stars. Give me more of that 80s disco sound, I just don't get sick of it. But I really appreciate your honesty. With some reactors I'm not always sure if their overwhelmingly positive reactions are actually genuine because they seem to love absolutely everything from everyone. With you, I know that I can trust your opinions since you're not afraid to be honest about not liking everything. Which makes it more meaningful when you actually do love a song. Keep it up, you're definetely one of the best kpop reactors out there!
"Purple" was 100% one of my most played songs of 2021 and definitely one of my top title tracks of the year. Woo!ah! don't get enough attention so I'm glad you checked them out and enjoyed their music. They're great.
there are 2 rappers lucy (the blonde one in bad girl) and nana (the one in the car in bad girl) nana is also the lead vocalist, main dancer, leader and visual of the group
I'm happy that you got around to Woo!Ah! It's crazy how we pretty much share very similar opinions on these songs, including the safer approach of Catch the Stars. Like many have already said, their short discography is full of great songs which all have videos in some form. I hope they get to continue to show their quirky side in their next comeback since it's what made me fall for them, alongside their choreo.
I see you found woo!ah! - One of the most under-rated girl groups in kpop! Fun facts: They were a candidate for "ROTY" in 2020 - Originally a 6 member group, however, Songyee left the group after debut. They are TIKTOK phenoms, posting constant content. CEO of NV Entertainment was the former dance choreographer for A-Pink. Broke off and created his own company and woo!ah! Their B-SIDES are so good! One of my favorites is "Payday" off their debut album.
19:46 This is Lucy (she has shoulder hair length in every comeback) 19:54 and this is Nana (who has long hair, I think it was the rapper u liked) she’s an all rounder Btw this group is called TikTok queens by the fans (which are called Wow) because they make REALLY good TikTok since debut and they slay (you can see in their choreos some mouvements inspired by TikTok’s trend😊)
So glad you liked them!! The Rapper with the blonde bangs you kept pointing out is Lucy and the other rapper with longer hair is Nana 👀 Woo!Ah! have a few other videos too! There’s an animated MV and a dance video for their bside Round & Round which is amazing
they have another mv which is only like their catoon versions and i really love that song, is my favorite woo!ah! song so you should check that one some time, it's called round & round🥰
Purple is SO controversial, so many people attacked it but it's unabashedly my favorite title lmao. The instrumental is just willlld. Their stages for it were so hype too. Loved I don't miss u and their debut too. There's this bouncyness to woo!ah! titles and choreo that I'm so addicted to, something about them is just so endearing while being cool. Highly recommend their b-sides too as they're also phenomenal
I'm so happy you discovered them and I don't Miss U - that song when I came across it last year literally took over my life haha - it has a great live performance on Mdromeda Its Live
For Catch The Stars I think they went for more a generic sound just to get more recognition from the public, still a bop tho they deserve sm more I love woo!ah! 😭
I Don't Miss You is their only bside with an MV for now, but they have other videos on their channel for the other bsides Round&Round has an animated lyric video, but it's definitely better to watch the choreography video, the dance is pretty great Payday, Scaredy Cat, and Pandora all have performance videos, all worth checking out and hopefully reacting to
the instrumental break in bad girl disappoints me with the mv because they do have their dance break there and i love it so much. i love their choreo and a bside with one that i especially love is pandora !
I've paid attention to all of their comebacks after woo!ah! (debut track) really impressed me. I had that song on loop for weeks! Their comebacks haven't been my style up until Catch the Stars, so I'm glad you really liked them! They seemed so polished even when they'd just debuted, so I'd love to see them grow even more as they grow their sound.
I've been waiting for this one! One of the great things about them is that they have a performance video for each of their b-sides. I think you're especially gonna like Payday.
OMGGH THANK U SO MUCH! WOO!AH! IS ONE OF MY MAIN AFTER WATCHING THEIR DEBUT SONG IN 1THEK THO THE MV IS NOT THAT PERFECT BUT THE STORY BEHIND HOW WOO!AH! DEBUTED MAKES ME FEEL PROUD! MY GIRLIES DESERVES MORE RECOGNITION
22:13 Lucy 🔥 17:24 it's interesting to hear that you preferred the production of Purple, Bad Girl, Wooah, and Can't Miss U 🤔 The most common criticism of Wooah, has been that they need to invest in better producers 😭 the people behind Catch the Stars are supposed to be a dream team credited for commercial bops like Oh My Girl - Dun Dun Dance, Loona - Hula Hoop, Twice's - The Feels, Fromis 9 - We Go, etc just to name a few. They've made tracks for everyone, including (G)I-dle, Gfriend, IZ*ONE, Billlie, Itzy, etc 💖 Thank you for reacting to Wooah 🤗
You said it tho ... “commercial bops” and my criticism was that it sounded too generic and similar to other songs released last year. It’s getting very boring to me... I have no problem with generic, I myself love a catchy bop but what I really look for is uniqueness and what makes a group stand out. I definitely prefer to hear music by producers who are willing to think outside the box!
Woo!ah is criminally underrated. I feel like them and cignature are most underrated 2020 rookies. Also! FiFi, earlier i was just listening to my 2nd gen kpop playlist and realized how much you would love KARA. One day if you have time to react to them, I just know their title tracks will change your life for real!! Especially Mamma Mia, Pandora, and Step
woo!ah! is one of the few groups (if not the only group) to have put out a video for every one of their songs. The b-sides might just be performance videos. But, they have choreography for every song. Round & Round, Scaredy Cat, Pandora and Payday are the ones you missed.
@@바보Queen i second this, absolutely amazing. Woo!ah! Is pretty much one of the true hidden gems of kopp and yeah I'm quite sad about the fact that they don't get more shine :/ sadly Catch the stars doesn't have a physical release
Payday is one of their bsides and it was on my top 10 most played last year. It’s such a pretty sounding song. You should check out the performance version of that one.
woo!ah! is defo one of those nugu groups scrambling to find a sound they want to stick with, as every comeback is such a financial risk. I definitely have a tendency to latch onto those kinds of groups ngl. Though not to the same extent, it’s probably why I gravitated towards fromis_9 during their most uncertain period. I love their voices and chemistry together - crossing my fingers lol. Thanks for the reaction! ✨ Interesting lore btw - 2 members of woo!ah!, alongside the company they’re under: NV Ent. all originate from SM. Their CEO branched off to do their own thing while these two trainees came along for the ride. Might be part of why their sound is so experimental. Do agree with you on their newest comeback though. The way the mix buried their distinctive vocal colours is a shame too. Regardless, I’m excited to see where they go from here. 🥳 Comeback time lesgooo
Woo!ah! are definitely one of the best 4th gen groups right now. 빙빙빙 (Round & Round) is one of their best b-sides, right up there with I Don't Miss U and Scaredy Cat!
Agh yes, I love this group, I genuinely feel like they deserve more attention because their songs are genuinely really enjoyable, and I feel like the members are easy to like as well. One thing that stands out for me is their vocal color, like even their rappers have very “swag” tones and their singers are are pretty good too, especially for a rookie group. Bad girl as been my fave for a while, the chorus is so different from anything I’ve heard before in kpop and I really like the dance to it too!
OH MY GOD! Thank you so much for reacting to woo!ah!. They are my rookie group of the year in 2021 & highly, highly underrated for sure. Their agency NV is lead by a former SM choreographer who did the iconic routines for Rollin' (Brave Girls), APink, Sistar, and Hyunah. WA is known for having a choreo for every single release so far. They also put out some of the best self-produced variety content & TikTok videos out of all girl groups. No lie, #1 on my Kpop wishlist for 2022 is for WA to break out. Don't miss "Scaredy Cat" as well, another great B-side.
Also check out Scaredy Cat, it was one of the b-sides on the same mini-album as Purple and it's my favorite! They do have a performance video for it ;)
ive heard of woo!ah! before especially from their tiktoks. ive heard purple but i never knew their other songs were soo good especially I Dont Miss U. definitely such an underrated group. I love them.
OH MY GOD!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone who loved their debut song Woo!Ah! as much as I did. I swear I remember listening to it when it was released and I immediately wanted to get into them. Hearing it again WOW!! I love your reactions!
YEESS! so glad u checked them out, they along w Lucy, Pixy,ONF & Bvndit are easly most underrated 4th gen groups when u compare popularity w their high quality music...there are 2 things that sets them apart from the majority 1st their gorgeous genre blending that they do...their genre & sound fusion is so effortless, doesnt feel like a stitched up bits & pieces rather 1 cohesively beautifully flowing piece like a wild rollercoaster going through lots of colorful tunnels & 2nd having not only several members with deep, mature & unique tones but also them delivering their lines in their lower register w unique delivery choices, this cb was imo d weakest simply bc of sudden jump to d ''good'' old 70s-80s lol but thats ok,glad they gained a listener!!
Yayy i’m so happy you’re checking them out! They are so underrated. Their b-sides are fantastic I definitely recommend checking out their b-side Payday. They released a performance video for it!
OMG seeing this just made me so happy! Thank you so much for giving them a shot! I'm so glad you liked them! AND by your reactions, I'm 100% certain you're gonna enjoy the B-sides just as much, if not even more! Woo!ah! just drops Bop after Bop after Bop after Bop. AND they have choreographies for EVERY song they drop aswell. Welcome to the WOW family! FIGHTING!
On "Catch The Stars" I agree with you on everything except for your ending opinion... When I first heard the song I also thought that this formula song could have been done years before, with maybe the adlibs, etc being changed for some uniqness. However, the formula Works! It's a catchy formula song with a great hook with plenty extra in lyric and tune to carry thru to the end as a completely great Kpop song I would give an A- to. (just an unbiased orbit opinion).
Woo!ah! Is everything to me. I met the group before debut through haters...thanks haters. you seem to notice a lot in the acoustic, in the melody of the songs...I don't know if you've heard it but if not...you should listen to round&round by the group woo!ah!..the best melody.
