XG( Xtraordinary Girls) are a 7 member Japanese girl group based in South Korea. Their genre of music is not K-pop or J-pop but they call their style of music as X-pop. Here are the names and age of each member Jurin age 22, Chisa age 22, Juria age 19, Hinata age 22, Cocona and Maya are both 18 years old but Maya has a birth coming up on August 10th. The girls all speak , rap and sing in English, Japanese and Korean. Hello! A little info on XG for you. XG is a 7 member GLOBAL girl group. They are all Japanese (Harvey is half Australian and Hinata is half Korean i believe), but their company(XGALX) is based in Korea. It's sub label of AVEX Inc. which is Japanese company. They promote like K-Pop groups, but they are NOT K-pop. All their songs are in completely English, except some of their Cyphers. They can rap/sing in English, Japanese, and Korean. 4 main rappers and 3 vocalist but as time passes with each new release, it's 7 all rounders now haha If you would like to react to more please react to their XG Tapes. 🐺🐺🐺If you like rap, check out their RU-vid only Tape series where the 4 rappers rap over classic hip hop beats in English, Japanese, and Korean. Tape #2 Galz Xypher is probably the most popular. Cocona (shaved head girl) went viral for her part in that when it was released. Personally I really love Tape #1 Chill Bill (it's only 2 of them on that one). The 3 vocalists do covers called the Vox series on RU-vid. You would love the latest one Losing You. They also have a Move series where they just dance, and they are all very good dancers. Their official songs are all in English because they are trying to be a world group, NOT K-Pop or J-Pop. They call their genre X-Pop. Their overall concept is that they are aliens, so you'll see a lot of space themes throughout their music videos. Left Right sounds like a 90's/2000's R&B girl group, so it would show you a completely different side to them besides rapping. Shooting Star is a good balance between rap and singing and dancing.
XG is XPop. Do their TAPE and VOX. Alternate cause they're numbered. Start with TAPE #1 Chill Bill and then VOX #1 Peaches. Then TAPE #2 and VOX #2 and so on and so on. Do them in order. I think that'll be the best way to update yourself on XG. KPop? I can ruin KPop for anyone but I won't...just yet. Just know XG does not sexualize the girls so their talents shine. I left KPop on inception. I find KPop corny AsF and I'm Korean...but American 100%. Enjoy what should've started in '88 in Korea.
Hey, they are a 7 member japanese group, they are extremely talanted and trained for 6 years since they were 11/13. They have a documentary on their channel about it. Anyways, you should check out their xg tapes. Also, you spoke about only listening to bts and blackpink kpop wise, but dude,, you really are missing out. You need to expand your horizons haha 😂 cause those are the 2 overrated cliche mainstream kpop groups, no hate but.. there are like hundreds of objectively more talanted kpop groups

I am a Blink, Jennie is my bias, but now I am completely hypnotized by XG,s talent ( they all can sing, rap, and dance at extremely high levels); their empowerment and positive messaging without sex, clubs, gangstas, or nonsense songs; they do all their official songs in English only 100% ( unlike BP… who I always thought should do all their songs in English for global domination after their first few), and XG are fluent in Japanese and Korean (They trained a few years in Tokyo, then moved to Seoul for the past 4 years) and getting better at English proficiency ( Maya, “ I’m the Judge and Jury” is fluent in English). Their label is XGALX, a Korean sub label of the Japanese music giant Avex ($1billion) who actually had distribution rights in Japan for Blackpinks early releases, before YG signed an international agreement with Interscope records ( part of Universal Music Group or UMG, which has Eminem, Kendrick, Billie Ailish, etc). They were amongst dozens of hand picked girls from ages of 11-14 being. They were put in dormitory living with each other along with their academics Everyday they were taught how to sing rap dance. Competed against each other in groups divided by skill level . After 2 years 10 girls was chosen to continue training as one group. twice a month they get evaluated with their dance choreography and covers from the vocalist and freestyle from rappers. 3years trained as a group until 7 out of 10 was chosen to be XG they have been together for 7 years.

XG consists of 4 main rappers (Jurin leader of the group who started Woke up, Harvey, Maya and Cocona) and 3 vocalists (Chisa, Juria and Hinata). They are really extraordinary with all these multiple skills and talents (jpop, kpop, pop, r & b, rap, balladase etc ...), not to mention that they sing in 3 languages and their choreography, which are one of the most difficult today in Asia. In fact they are xpop pis are universal. Congratulations girls, you really deserve to be at the Billboard top, and now the world knows you and will be even more surprised by so much talent. XG they are a japanese group of 7 members. They speak japanese. Korean english, and sign language. They have a rap line, a vocal line, and now majority of them are all rounders which means they can sing and rap and dance. They have the vox which is all vocals, the tapes are all rap, they have moves which is all dance practices and choreography. They do have alot if short videos but they fire as well. I luv this group. Their 1st debut was tippy toes. They came out 2yrs ago. All I'm gone say is you won't be disappointed and they don't ever miss.
