Great reaction. Absolutely right, if they can sing about chocolate (that was on the first album), then why not about a Thai spicy green papaya salad. This was on the third album ... on the second album they have a song about bubblegum ('Awadama Fever' does not get enough reactions if you are looking for more songs). This video was filmed on the second night in Yokohama at the start of their 2019 tour. The third girl here was Kano Fujihira, one of 3 dancers (the Avengers) who supported Su and Moa taking turns to dance in the third spot from 2019 through to early this year. This was her first show with BABYMETAL - she was still only 14. In April this year the last remaining Avenger, Momoko, was revealed as their new official third member. F Hero is a rapper from Thailand and very well known there, he flew in to Japan specially to perform on those first two nights. They performed in Bangkok in Thailand a month or so ago and F Hero made another special guest appearance. You said how hard they work ... the first night of the tour was on the Friday, this video was filmed at the show on Saturday - after this concert they went straight to the airport and flew overnight half way round the world to the UK, they landed in London early in the morning, drove half way across England and were on stage at the Glastonbury Festival at lunch time on Sunday. They then had their own show in London a couple of days later and were back in Japan a few days later for two more huge arena concerts. 'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and it really is about a spicy green papaya fruit salad. F Hero was rapping in Thai to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices into life will make that better too. What you thought was a synth backing F Hero in his rap was actually a traditional Thai instrument that he suggested should be added and was played by a friend of his. Not only did they have him continue on singing along with the chorus after his rap, at the end they all turned to thank him and bowed deeply in his direction - showing not only their appreciation but their respect too. If you get to see them live take or buy a towel to swing round your head for this song - seeing everybody doing that makes them very happy.

And yes, their arena-size shows setups tend to be quite crazy. But they usually perform in smaller venues being just them, the band and a few lights on stage. 🤘🦊

Recently fans at Bangkok enjoyed this song live with F.Hero as a special guest for the third time performing together after this live version 2019 in Japan, everyone were enjoying this in every concert, is a hit they don't wanna miss in any of their setlist. F.Hero is a top Thai rapper artist and he's singing/rapping in Thai language, the title is in reference to the papaya fruit used to make a popular Thai salad. Also the rhythm isn't reggaeton, is based on popular traditional Thai music called _mor lam._ Probably got some similar pattern but i think the BPM is higher than reggaeton. The crowd are waving towels, the girls love that, especially if you buy the official merch lol Is a fun song to represent and celebrate the mix between these two great cultures, and just like you noticed is a party summer festival song. Fans at Sabaton's Europe Tour enjoyed this song in every setlist as well in the Asian Tour and Australian Tour already finished. If you want another rare live performance with Latin rhythm vibes you got "Night Night Burn" live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, or with Indian influence like "Shanti Shanti Shanti" official MV, better yet if you look for "folky" vibes then you got "Oh! MAJINAI" ft. Joakim Brodem live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 or Budokan 2021, you'll notice almost every BM song got their own unique dance choreo. This song belongs to 3rd album "Metal Galaxy" released in 2019 but this one as well many more songs are exploring a different Babymetal side, sometimes more mature, but trying to not lose their fun. It belongs to the Light Side disc of that album. The footage of this was took from BABYMETAL AWAKENS: The Sun Also Rises 2019 in Yokohama Arena Japan, F.Hero was invited for this, the night before he was really in panic with the amount of people and even throwing all out after the show, It ain't easy to face that crowd, especially after receiving some negative critics from BM fans who didn't like his participation on this, fortunately he recover from this and received a warming welcome. Also that night they introduced the _avengers_ system, a group of three backup dancers filling the third spot that YuiMetal left (she left the group in 2018). They rotate so not always you'll see the same one on stage, usually the live official MV before 2020 is with Kano Fujihira, she started this when having 14 years old, so young like our girls back in their early days. None of them have mic or sing and aren't official members, they just dance. But remember that status change recently when one of them were announced as a new official member called MomoMetal.
