FIRST TIME REACTION | Awaken League Of Legends Cinematic Blew Me Away 

I fully support watching the rest of the Cinematics, Riot does a really good job on them and they are well worth the watch. The game itself if something I would suggest looking more into before diving into. You may have fun with it but it can be a tricky community to join is all I will say.

League is definitely one of those "the fandom likes everything except the actual game itself, and we all agree it's awful but keep playing it" situations (I stopped playing it a good 3-4 years ago and I really should have stopped 4-5 years ago). The lore and surrounding games on the other hand I can recommend - lots of juicy stuff to dig into, there's a fighting game on the way, Legends of Runeterra is a very good card game, etc etc.

Wasn't expecting to see Dipper interested in League content but I like the reactions lol. I've played League on and off for years, so I got some things to say about it. First off, League is pvp MOBA game. It's a fun game with A LOT of different characters/classes to play (tank, marksman, assassin, bruiser, mage), but the gameplay itself is pretty much just pvp team matches. I mean I like it, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea (and the game chat can get really toxic really fast which again can put people off lol). That being said, it's got some really cool world building. All the scenes you just saw were from different locations in the world, just like how Garlemald, Eorzea and Doma are all different locations (and yeah it's a mish-mash of different genres not unlike final fantasy haha). Even if you don't end up playing it, I'd still recommend watching the cool cinematics and music videos. It also has a Netflix adaptation called Arcane, which is both really good and newbie-friendly so you don't need to know the League lore to get into it.

A lot of League's cinematics, even the short ones, are pretty cool stories in their own right that I would fully recommend, and even some fan made stuff could be worth checking out if you're still hungry for more when you're done. That said, as a League player, I can assure you that it has earned its reputation for having a toxic community to the point that I've stuck to the more casual modes to avoid toxicity yet still report people daily for their behavior. The game's fun, but the community does everything in their power to ruin that fun.

League is a very fun game for casual play, if you get into it, you will tilt extremely hard. It's a 5v5 moba game where everyone picks a champion at the start. There are currently 165 different champs, each have 4 different abilities (3 normal abilities and 1 ultimate). There are 3 lanes and a jungle where you will fight each other to get to the opponent's base and destroy their nexus (headquarters). There are a ton of different items you can build, which all scale differently with each champ. So game knowledge is key here with the amount of different combinations each champ has.

They also made an animated netflix series called Arcane based on the league universe which u can enjoy even if u dont know anything about league

LoL has great cinematics and music videos. The game is very much its own animal though, not sure you'd be into a MOBA. The videos are worth checking out though... especially KD/A their virtual kpop group.

The funny thing is... Most of the LoL community will probably say, "You shouldn't bother playing LoL." But watching the cinematics, learning the lore, watching Arcane, and playing any of the games set in the LoL universe, besides the original game? Oh, definitely play those. It's pretty humorous that much of the league community seem to not really like the game, but love the setting the game has given birth to.

If you like League of legends cinematic and you like anime related stuff, you should try Star Guardian cinematic. Basicly it's a Sailor moon universe inside League of legends (non canon but very developed universe). here the order of those cinematics 🐥: - Burning bright (2016) - A New Horizon (2017) - Light and Shadow (2019) - Everthing goes on (2022)

I have been playing League for 7 years. Riot puts out amazing cinematics and I love watching people that have never played the game get immersed in the world of Runeterra and the characters that I know and love. That being said, I think I am one of the few people that loves League even to this day. I have taken a few months break from the game here and there but overall it will always have a place in my heart. I'm glad you enjoyed these cinematics and if you watch Arcane, I hope you enjoy that too.

League Cinematics and even gameplay frankly are awesome, just try not to get caught up in the tryhard arguers that forget the main thing... IT'S A GAME, just enjoy and have fun.

Riot Games is making an MMO set in the League of Legends universe but that is still a ways off. It is something to look forward to.

She's a revolutionary figurehead rebelling against the Noxian invasion of her Ionian homeland. 2:52 That's Sion, the Undead Juggernaut. He's arguably Noxus' greatest warrior who died hundreds of years ago. Then Noxus brought him back to life with blood magic. Now he's a crazy super-zombie who wrecks shit up, friend and foe alike. 3:32 The girl in the back is Karma, the Enlightened One. She's basically Ionia's Dalai Lama. She's constantly being reincarnated over and over again and she can access the memories of her former selves/lives. The girl in front is Akali, the Rogue Assassin. She's a ninja who used to work for an organization of ninjas (the Kinkou) but then she quit because she felt the organization weren't doing enough to repel the Noxian invasion, which is why she's participating in this battle. 3:49 That's Yasuo, the Unforgiven. He's basically a ronin who combos his wind magic with his swordsmanship skills. 3:56 That's Kennen, the Heart of the Tempest. He's one of the leaders of the Kinkou.

If you're interested in getting to know some of the characters(many have little or no lore, others have a lot) you might want to check out some "this is war" raps from falconshield. I think there are like 9 raps.

Game with friends, be wary of randoms. Cinematics are great. And the newer champion teasers/trailers are great.

Play League/MOBA is like playing a team sport game with totally anonymous stranger, with the goal is to win, but both team can play as dirty as they want. Image everytime you have the ball(in footbal/soccer), 3 other players will come and beat the fk out of you, just to spice and not let you play. It can get personally quick, and not many ppl hold emotion well.

I highly recommend enjoying League content from afar! The game good, the content is good, but the toxicity you will encounter that is absolutely unescapable is otherworldly!

Hm, say, I recommend checking out Necrit if you want to know the Lore. By the way, I recommend checking out Star Guardian at some point too, unless that is too early? If so, I recommend Get Jinxed.

TBH every Riot cinematics are really high quality. But League as a game is not something i would recommend. Is hard to get into and the community isnt the best around. If you like more RPG styled games, theres a game called "The Ruined Kind", set in the League universe, and is rpg with turn based combat :)

league of legends is honestly not a bad game, its the toxicity of the in game chat that can sometimes be difficult to deal with

I honestly don't think League is worth playing... However the Riot Forge games like "Ruination", "Song of Nunu" etc. might be way more enjoyable for you ! League is not really a beginner friendly game & you really only enjoy the game if you play with friends imo (it's way too dependent on wether you win or lose if you're playing alone)

As someone who has played League for almost a decade and has literally 1000's of hours over nearly a decade, just stick to the cinematics. The game is a 5 vs 5 MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) there are 150ish unique champions with 3 abilities, an ultimate and a passive (there are exceptions, but this is generally true). There are generally overarching archetypes like tanks, mages, fighters, ranged DPS, support (NOT HEALERS, usually has some CC or other utility but very much not healer), but the game plays radically different than MMOs because it is a different genre. Each game you start at Lvl1 with basic gear and slowly buy new equipment and level up to 18 while trying to destroy the enemy base while the other team of 5 is doing the same thing. The game is not beginner friendly and I wish I could legitimately recommend it, but I can only do so if you have a friend who will play with you (preferably one who already plays). The cinematics and music are absolutely top notch and worthwhile watching. 10/10 recommend them, just wish I could say the same for the game.

Definitely have friends if you're gonna try out league because its fun but a majority of the community can be quite toxic.

Please please try out legends of runeterra and their trailers! Our game is FREEEE and you dont have to pay a single CENT to get all future/past cards! They even have player vs ai modes and more! Our next major expansion is in 2 days! Or if you ars trying another game, omega strikers! Its also free!

uhm...cinematics/songs /lore/eSports etc about lol are all great but... i can't recommend you to play the game at all...not because is bad...in fact it's very addictive imo...but it has a very (VERY) intense cummunity which i suffered myself some years ago and i also get involved to it so...yeah this game with the wrong people can get the worst of your existance as a human to the surface...but thankfully for me i stoped after spending like...15k hours on it... i mean if you wanna try it go for it but my advice is that it's not worth anyones time tbh...at least not if don't play as a group of 5 people that you know won't take it too seriously

I've been playing League of Legends since 2007... it's a competitive game, with a magnificent story and lore. but, unfortunately, there is a lot of toxicity. to play it, you need a strong mind, a correct lifestyle and pedagogy (in game)... because there are 166 characters, all different. distributed over 7 roles (support / range / mage / tank / assassin / bruiser and "yuumi"). playing league for the first time, in 2023 is not impossible, you can have fun with a group of friends (10). but playing alone is not the same, because it is a team game, and 90% of people absolutely want to win.

I cant stand playing LoL mainly because of the toxic atmosphere but I do love their cinimatics, music, and Arcane was the best animated show I've watched in a long time

I would suggest "Warriors" and "The Call" next.

I don't think league is a game for you but I'd recommend the riot forge games. And yeah the Riot cinematics are indeed great.

League is an interesting game to play but for me I prefer Smite only cause it's the only MOBA on console. That being said the community for most MOBAs are pretty toxic so it's hard to get into them at 1st. I'd recommend watching game play before playing yourself and then see if you have people to play with that can teach you to make it more fun

You shouldn't play League of Legends =) Players is very toxic. But you definitely can enjoy music, cinematics and videos. League lore is very good, and if you will enjoy League lore, try playing Legends of Runeterra this is more lore driven game than League of Legends.

As an ex-league player, current wild rift player, I suggest enjoying the cinematics, arcane and/or the lore but stay away from league (bless your soul). If you ever do play league...I guess I'll be here to follow your journey and praying for your sanity.

I advise to not correlate LoL champions to regular classes/jobs. You will be wrong 11/10 times and wont have a good time:)

League is very toxic so play it at your own risk, however, everything outside of the game like the Cinematics, Music Videos, Show (Arcane) and Live Performances are all very good! Check those out! Just probably not the game...

you really shouldn't play League, it's an enormous time-crunch and takes hundreds of hours to learn the basics. Plus the in-game community is toxic AF. But if you're willing to put in the time, just be prepared for flame and learn to block it out
