Great song - and it contains the sort of language you wouldn't expect to hear from two sweet, polite young Japanese girls. When they first saw the lyrics apparently they couldn't stop giggling. The moral of this story - don't make Yui and Moa angry - they will knock you into shape!😈🦊😈
@@TheHomelessDreamer Curses, if it wasn't for you pesky kids .... In reality I was watching the football and I'd have only been repeating all the info about Black BABYMETAL etc that everybody already told them.
Showing there are no passengers in BabyMetal. Big shows are great, but you will never forget a small show if Su, Moa, or MoMo look straight into your eyes and smile . One show Moa sat on the edge off the stage during Metali on 2nd night at Roundhouse back to back shows in 2023 and was literally just feet away ❤😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼i had the biggest silly smile on my face 🤣
This is Black Babymetal which was Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) and Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal). Their songs lean more toward rap style of singing. If you liked this then you might want to check out Song 4, GJ, and Onedari Daisakusen. Yui left Babymetal in 2018 due to unspecified health reasons and there were 3 girls known as The Avengers who took her place doing the choreography but did not have microphones. One of the Avengers, Momoko Okazaki, was recently named Momometal as the replacement for Yui. I don't know if Momo and Moa will continue as Black Babymetal and perform those songs.
There are 4 Su-metal solo songs, "No Rain, No Rainbow", "Rondo of Nightmare", "Akatsuki" and "Amore". In turn there are four Black Babymetal songs with just Yui and Moa, "4 no Uta/Song 4", "GJ!", "Onedari Daisakusen" and "Sis Anger". Personally, I believe these were written and performed just to give the girls a break between songs and to abide by child labor laws. Since they are adults now, there has been no need to perform these and were last performed at the 10 Budokan shows as they were fan favorites.
The first 2 albums they built in what I call "Break Songs" 2 Su Solo song on each album (Rondo of Nightmare, Akatsuki, No Rain No Rainbow, & Amore ) and 2 Black Babymetal ( Yui & Moa only ) songs on each album ( Onedari Daisakusen, 4 no Uta, Sis Anger, and GJ ) Remember they were young children when they started out and these songs gave each member a chance to get off stage for a short rest.
When you go see them in a small venue, if you manage to get to the barrier and in first line, you might be able to get some interaction with the girls! A wave, a heart, a kiss blown, or something or the sort! That you cannot achieve in a big venue 😄
I get you man. I've been to their Strasbourg show at barrier last year, venue has about 600 capacity, and there was NO space between barrier and the stage. I was so close to Moa & Momo that I had to lean back and try not to hit them as I was waving my kitsunes at them in unisson. Truly a memorable experience. Nothing beats that, not any arena show anyway :)
I have seen them in small venues just 3-8 lines from the front, in large arenas from the middle, and once in a HUGE arena sitting in the balcony. They were awesome every single time. Unfortunately to see the theatrics of their special shows you'd have to go to Japan.
A lot of “Black Babymetal” songs will be “too consistent” so be prepared for that but yeah it’s heavier than normal BM The best black Babymetal song after this one is probably “GJ”
💀 💕 / 🔥 😡 😡 🔥 One correction. BABYMETAL didn't exist "before it was called BABYMETAL". They've always been BABYMETAL. When they were a Sakura Gakuin sub-unit, BABYMETAL were described as "The Heavy Music Club". All of the Sakura Gakuin sub-units had descriptions based on club activities. Mini-Pati was "The Cooking Club", Twinklestars was "The Baton Club", Scoopers was "The Newspaper Club", etc. 'Sis.Anger' is a classic Black BABYMETAL song. They always gave the heaviest songs to the two littlest members. : ) This song is about being angry, mostly at dumb boys. The song was kind of controversial, and the lyrics are a bit rude, especially coming from young girls. As I understand it, the equivalent would be using an expression like "dumb bastard". There are a couple translations that exaggerate this quite a bit. Unfortunately, this song hasn't been performed since July 2017, when Yui was still with the group. I saw it about a month before that at the Hollywood Palladium.
There are 4 songs without Su. Sis Anger, GJ, Onedari Daisakusen and Song 4. There are also 4 Su solo songs where Su sings alone without the other two members. Those songs are Akatsuki, Rondo of Nightmare, Amore and No Rain No Rainbow that you have already reacted to.
This is Black Babymetal, it just Moametal and Yuimetal/Momometal. Sumetal not involved in this song. You guys should see this The 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰 Extensive Guide to BABYMETAL (April 1st 2024) : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aIb2xEthdSg.html
The title of this song is an homage and play on words to Metallica's "St. Anger". The girls are basically saying they want to hurt crappy guys that make them mad with their horrible selfish ways. "I will knock your ill-nature into shape. I will burn down everything with flare of anger." BLACK BABYMETAL (a nickname when a song is by just Moa and Yui) songs are some of the heaviest of all the BABYMETAL songs, and in my opinion, this song is the heaviest and most lyrically aggressive so far. Even their choreography is aggressive with its kicks, punches, and angry looking moves. Great reaction.🤘🦊🤘
4 songs without SU: Song4 (2014 budokan and 2017 fox festival both Moa+Yui) Onedari Daisakusen (version 2014, 2017 - moa+yui and 2021 - Moa solo) GJ (version 2017 - moa+yui and 2021 - Moa solo) Sis Anger 4songs Suzuka solo: No Rain no Rainbow (best version XX Baptism (official) Amore (from Wembley or Fox Festival (both good but they sound different. matter of taste) Akatsuki ( 2014 Budokan, 2017 Fox Fest, 2021 Budokan (and more).. each version have own proc and cons. 2021 best overall. But 2014/2017 better for show guitarists) Rondo Of Nightmare (best overall - from 2014 budokan because of cool instrumetnal intro. 2017 version havnt intro but sound heavier. I recommend 2014 because of intro.
👍 👍 Ok going into uncharted territory here with some speculation. I believe that this was the last concert where Yui (on the left of your screen) performed as a member of BABYMETAL. After this concert her Dr. advised her to not perform the next concert (supposedly Yui was wearing a back brace during this show and if you notice her face was swollen - supposedly due to steroidal medication). Little details beyond this are known (heck I am not even sure if what I have shared is correct). Nonetheless after months of false hope that Yui Mizuno would indeed return - in 2018 just before their world tour she told the fans of her decision to leave BABYMETAL (based primarily on her inability to continue due to her health). Suzuka and Moa released statements that they supported her decision, wished her well and said the she would always be BABYMETAL family. In my opinion the Tokyo Dome performance of this "Blsck BABYMETAL song is the best.
Yuimetal's last concert was the Big Fox Festival 15 Oct 2017. The last BM song she performed was "The One" - "We are the one, together we're the only one You are the one, forever" Not sure were this performance was filmed, but doesn't look like the Big Fox Festival. Someone will know
This is good structured heavy metal song, and its heavy as f. We know that's not exactly your cup of tea but Babymetal was essentially a metal band. Yui and Moa ( Black Babymetal) as Su have 4 solos. Good to to see you check the old stuff Peace 🤘🦊
I'm surprised you both still haven't done Night Night Burn since you liked the cultural tour of sounds BABYMETAL was doing. Black BABYMETAL is awesome as well. Personally this one is my least favorite of the 4 but doesn't mean its bad by any means. 🤘🦊🤘
