So glad you reacted to the performance that included Chris Martin's intro. This was so touching, and ColdPlay took such good care of Jin. ARMYs remember to show some love to them in the future💜

Chris's speech has already become iconic for so many beautiful reasons and the fact that it was Jin who initiated the entire Coldplay collaboration and then the bond they have now... I just can't. 😭 Regarding what you said about their voices - some of what at first just sounds like Chris in My Universe is actually him and Jin singing together so you're spot on with not only their registers but even their tones are sometimes very similar. 👍 TMI: I have a little sister whom I'm pretty close with although we live far apart so yeah, I totally get that sibling bond. 👭🏼 Lastly, face it John, you're just a big ol' softie at heart....and we love you for it. 😄 💜

Thank you for adding your personal connection to this very emotional performance & “goodbye for now” from Jin, facilitated by the man he has been a fan of for most of his whole life. We indeed will all be celebrating when he resurfaces, and when they’re all back together in 2025. It’s going to be epic.

If each of the other members do a song like Jin did we are in trouble. We just can’t handle it emotionally!

What people may not notice is Chris harmonized with Jin in Korean. This performance was Jin front and center. It's exciting but at the same time he is used to cues and guides that performing in a group provides. It's just his history that the younger guys are typically in the the forefront (Jimin, JK, V, Hobi). It was so warm of Chris to be his cue and help him feel comfortable. I feel Chris understands Jin's typical "role" in BTS and wanted to help him shine in his own space. So respectful, caring and heartwarming. I tear up every time when Chris stretches his arms out to Jin. Humanity at its best.

I saw Jin's performance in the movie theater live in Southern California I cried like a baby when Jin came out luckily I had an Army next to me handed me tissue. My theater was sold out and they were all there for Jin a lot of Coldplay fans though including myself but yeah I was there for Jin. I understand the deployment part when my daughter had to leave for the Marine corps I was sort of a wreck people had given me a hard time how could you let your daughter sign up, I said I'm not killing her dream yet it was very hard worrying about her and she said Mom if it's my time to go it's my time to go I could be walking across the street and I said you're right and getting that first phone call from her that she made it to boot camp was even harder cuz she got two seconds and then not hearing nothing for a few months. She did her 2 years first year was in Okinawa so she was so far away. Might be why I'm a little more worried for Jin at the same time all I can do is pray for his safety, I have friends give me a hard time it's not like it's your child I says I'm worried for anyone's child that is going into the service. Anyway I'll be waiting and counting till 2025 it'll be a miracle if I can go but I've convinced my daughter that we need to go together even though she's not really a BTS fan yet ;)

Not sure many people know but when you watch the scene, jin actually have tears down his cheeks but he covered it with his laugh it tears me down each time 😢

From the first moment I heard this song (when the MV came out) till now, I still tear up 😢 every time I hear it. At first, I thought it was only when I watched his live performance with Chris, but I find myself getting choked up the second I hear the instruments at the beginning of the song. I love Jin’s voice & personality. I’m going to miss him. Will be watching for what the K-media puts out about it next Tuesday, the day Jin leaves for the military (12/13). Just hoping some crazy fans don’t try to show up and cause a frenzy. Love Jin! 😢

I got to see the full concert in the theater. Coldplay was really good. As was Jin, I was so happy he brought his pink mic! It is so Jin. Who knew I would need tissues at a Cold Play concert? Definitely teared up during Chris's speech. Chris also did a Iranian Protest song with an Iranian woman that was very powerful.

I was waiting for your reaction on both Chris' intro and Jin's live performance in Buenos Aires. Yes, it must have been an insane or weird feeling for Jin to go up the stage by himself. He was used to being with the whole BTS when they open up the stage. Jin, Chris and all of Coldplay are such selfless people. In Jin's vlive during that morning, accdg to him, Chris said that in the TA performance, Jin can do whatever he wants since the stage is Jin's. But Jin said no since that is their concert. He would not even want to say anything even after the song. Jin said it was the same thing Chris did when he was a special guest at the PTD concert in LA last year. Chris told them then that he will just exit after MU and will not say anything since it was a BTS concert. So Jin wanted to do the same thing. But Chris told him that he would really want Jin to say something. So Jin gave the brief thanks you's to Argentina and Coldplay band members...plus said I love you to army. It also shows the respect they have for each other. Again, I can't thank Chris and all of Coldplay enough for giving Jin their stage during his performance. The love and support they gave Jin was so heartwarming. In all of their concerts, including today's Jingle Bell ball in London, they have wootteo with them (Wootteo is the cartoon character which Jin created for the TA promotions and debut). it only shows the close bond between Jin and also all of BTS. and am so happy for Jin since I know that he is super happy to have worked and performed with Coldplay. Jin is a certified Coldplay fan boy. They were his idols since he was very young (elementary if am not mistaken). This is a dream come true for him.

I can not watch this whole thing and not have tears .. I start crying from the minute Chris starts talking about Jin going to the military and then he says my brother from a band of brothers .. omg I just choke up, I will miss him so so much .. he's my bias you know 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜👍👍👍👍👍👍

I love this performance! Chris Martin shows them such respect. When Jin runs to Chris and Chris gives him a hug and kiss. Its just beautiful! I remember the morning my brother left for basic training. You're right, that first communication is so precious.

Deployed 4 times, 70 countries visited, and saying goodbye for weeks, months, or years never gets easy. Awesome he got to say goodbye his way to the millions of fans who helped him get to where he is now. Super special moment here!

Ugh 😩 took me a few days to actually watch this reaction. Jin enlisted yesterday & the guys were all there to say goodbye…for now. This performance was amazing. Chris Martin is such a cool guy. He didn't need to say he was judgemental first. But he was very honest in admitting this. I was also judgemental since I didn't like k-pop because most groups felt fake. So I assumed BTS was another k-pop group. But no, I was wrong. Becoming ARMY is one of the best things that happened in my life. I will miss Jin and the rest of the members so much.

Such a beautiful send off. One of the moments that was so so simple but painted such a picture of what is going on: Jin walking up those stairs alone into a stadion with all those light bombs (like the stars in space). The entire performance made me tear up hard! But this moment and the moment he ran across the stage into Chris' hug... Yeah...

As a military wife of 18 years I can say the leaving never gets easier. 3 deployments and multiple trainings. I have been thinking about Jin’s family for the last two days. 💜♥️

I just realized this was the first time he performed with out his little brothers there(Not even back stage), but thankfully he had his big brothers there to support and encourage he to really feel the moment!💜😭💜 I love Jin! I love Chris! I LOVE BTS and Coldplay!🥰 My favorite brotherhood, so thankful they could meet and make beautiful music together. I just can't get over how much they love and respect each other!!!🥺

Went to the cinemas to watch coldplays concert and to see this special performance from Jin. It was truly a beautiful moment to be remembered. The love for his fans all over the world. This was so wonderful, John, thank you-we are so going to miss Jin-and all of them, as they go. I am so worried as to how the military experience may affect them. 😔 They have never faced anything close to the military, having been in the group since such a young age-they have been protected, rather used to living well (in recent years, I know it was hard for them early on),-. Of course I realize as BTS they have endured rigid schedules and grueling training/practice, etc., but they have never had officers "in their face," hurling insults, commands, ridiculing and belittling them, etc.-as happens to all new trainees to the service-you are treated like crap and must endure some horrid experiences, let alone lousy food, beds, etc. Perhaps being celebrity's, they may be treated differently, but I somehow doubt it at first-unless South Korea will make a point of being very careful with them since they are such a huge contributor to the country's economy, etc-they are treasures. Boot camp will be a rough 5 or 6 weeks before they are transferred to wherever they will end up, and I truly hope it doesn't change who they are deep inside, but undoubtedly, it WILL change them to a degree, maybe even harden them a bit, so I just hope this time goes by quickly and they get through as unscathed as possible in all ways.

Aren’t we all PROUD ARMY when Chris says they should work with a Korean boy band

I saw the concert livecast in my local theater, and it was AMAZING, but when Jin came out, it was a whole 'nother level. The Coldplay fans had light-up wristbands, but you KNEW when the ARMY bombs came out. And hearing them do the ARMY fanchant with only Jin's name... I nearly cried. (I DID cry when Jin ran up and hugged Chris. And again when he told ARMY he loved us at the end.) Oh, and he just shared a pic on Weverse this morning of his new buzz cut, with the caption, "It's cuter than I thought!" 🤣

This year was such a great year for me 🥰💜💜💜 first I went to my first BTS Concert on Aprik in Las Vegas and than I went to my first Coldplay Concert on July in Berlin 🎊🤗 both Bands are such amazing performers and I'm very thankful that I had this opportunity this year 🙏 🥰🥰🥰

And it's so rare, now. And today, I saw on social media that at the Jingle belle concert in England, Chris Martin came on scene with Wotteo, and give a finger heart for BTS and all the members... a last shout-out to Jin before his departure. Thank you so much for your reaction, for starting with Chris' touching intro, and for relating your feelings when your brother enlisted. I have watched this so many times now and it hasn't lost its power to hold my heart. So beautiful from start to finish! So sweet seeing the banners saying "ARMY will wait for you." However, I think that we should not just passively wait for Jin and his BTS brothers to come back from military service. Because it's so easy for passive waiting to turn into "out of sight, out of mind". So I hope that ARMY will WAIT ACTIVELY. What do I mean by that? Continue streaming their music and watching their content so that they retain their presence in the charts. Continue celebrating milestones like their birthdays and the BTS birthday on June 13 for the next two years. And I hope that HYBE, being the canny company that they are and knowing what their greatest treasure is, already has a strategy to keep BTS content coming in a measured way. They've been filming just about every moment of these guys' lives for the past 10 years, even before their debut so I'm confident that they have tons of material that they can polish up and offer to ARMY on special occasions and milestones. And I hope, John, that you and your fellow reactors continue to react to BTS content. There's a motherlode of stuff; their performances, the Run BTS series, Bon Voyage, In the Soop, Jin's special series and BTS appearances, and various compilations that will keep y'all going until 2025, just pace yourself and inject a bit of TXT here and there.

Jin went to the army two days ago Really this hurts my heart so much💔 Jin's voice is absolutely amazing. 💜 His voice is full of honest feelings and he conveys a lot of those feelings every time I listen to his voice.💜 He bids us farewell with his words and tells us that he loves us as much as we love him😢💔 My God, his tears which he tries to keep from falling with his laughter and gentle gestures, as well as his face which shows his sadness at our farewell, makes me fall in love with him more than before every time I see him.💜😢

I love Chris's speech and his interactions with Jin. But what really impresses me is the fact that Chris actually sings along with quite some of the Korean lyrics.

It is so emotional, it was lovely to hear about your brother, separation is difficult. BTS have never been apart for more than a few days, they will feel it so much. How wonderful was it of Chris to give Jin this farewell at Coldplay's concert - he is a special guy and I will be forever grateful to him for the love and kindness that him (and the band) have shown to BTS.
