Please enjoy my reaction to DAY6's Killing Voice performance! This is my first time experiencing this guys and they are just absolutely phenomenal! Every song they performed was catchy and had such great vibes! Each member can sing so well but their electric guitarist and keyboardist are just out of this world and really resonated with me! I definitely want to dive more into this guys so please give me suggestions!

The guy you always point out is named Sungjin and is thr leader of the group! I would say he’s also the reason why Day6 a band exists in JYP which is a company that typically makes dance groups. He was not a great dancer but his voice is sooo good they eventually created a band department and created pretty much an all vocal band (excelt for the drummer).

Honestly can’t go wrong with just going in chronological order to see their growth, but for MV connection purposes, please react to “Congratulations” and “You Were Beautiful” together. And if you continue on, react to their school trilogy MVs together too (What Can I Do > I Loved You > When you love someone). Apart from these, the ones you mentioned really liking in their Killing Voice are “days gone by” and “I Like You.” Hope these help! 😊 PS: I feel you and your love at first note for Sungjin (guitarist). My bias is Young K (bassist), but Sungjin bias-wrecked me so aggressively this entire Killing Voice. 🥲

The thing about Day6 is that they planned out killing voice like its their concert, They did Welcome to the show (newest song) which is think will be their concert opener from now on, and then the last 3 songs are the typical intro/outro songs they used in their previous concerts. Their discography is extensive!! So I hope you can check out more!

Thank you for reacting to Day6!!! Please keep reacting to their music. Their b-sides are as good as the title tracks or even better. The band consists of four members: Sungjin (Leader, electric and acoustic guitarist, main vocalist), Young K (Bass, main vocalist, rapper) Wonpil (keyboardist, synthesizer, main vocalist), and Dowoon (vocalist, Drummer) Originally a six-piece band, Day6 became 4 members after two members left. All of the Day6 members are heavily involved in writing, composing and producing the band's music. P.S the member you liked the most is Sungjin our beautiful leader.

About the albums: Day6 debuted in 2015 with the album The Day, and in 2016 they had a comeback with the album Daydream The reason Day6 has A LOT of songs is mostly because in 2017 they had the "everyday6" project - they released 2 to 3 songs every 6th of the month for the whole year, resulting in two albums (sunrise in june and moonrise in december) After that they had releases called Youth Part. 1 (shoot me) and youth part. 2 (remember us - the second song they played that you said you'd check it out is the title song) in 2018 2019 they started their the book of us series (tbou for short). It goes - gravity - entropy (probably their most eclectic album) - the demon - negentropy There's also a subunit, Even of Day, that has a fifth tbou album (gluon) and also Right Through Me. There is ALSO their japanese album Unlock, very jrock/anime opening style, there are also some singles as well For some songs they have english versions too (with actually good translations/adaptations) Young k (bass) and Wonpil (keyboard) have their solo stuff too. And yes, every fan under the sun is begging for Sungjin's (guitar/raspy voice) solo album. Maybe one day lol By the way, day6 used to have 6 members when they debuted, but one left the band pretty early (he is only in the first album) and the other one, Jae, is in every album - this recent one is the first without him. Just saying so if you watch other day6 stuff you will get to hear them as well.

Sungjin is the guitarist and he has no solo stuff, but he has the guide of a song he wrote for Day6 sung only by him. It's called 'DAY6 - "Afraid" SUNGJIN Guide Audio', so you can hear what would look like a song only by him :)

Their discography is so extensive I no longer need to listen to other artists. Their albums are skipless (not exaggerating), and their songs are not only super relatable, but also ear-pleasing and reallyyyyy great! Like, I have a theme song in every moment in my life, thanks to them 😊

"Zombie" is by far one of the most meaningful songs! Released in 2020 and got me through a lot of my depression and the MV will show how and why! They also have an english version, although the translations to english are slight different and doesn't hit as hard as the Korean version, it's still meaningful. "Congratulations" is another really good track that also has an english version. Others in the comments already dropped their suggestions, but I'd like to be that guy to mention it again lol. "Days gone by," "You were beautiful," "I loved you," "When you love someone," "Afraid," "I need somebody." YounK and Wonpil both have solo work done. Sunjin hasn't due to releasing their new album first. PREVIOUS members Junhyeok went solo after leaving and Jae has done solo work before, during and after being a part of the group. Jae is now in LA doing his own solo. Upon leaving the group he (Jae) mentioned that he doesn't know where life will lead and that returning to the band isn't out of the picture either. But who knows how much he still talks to the members these days since it's been 3 yrs since he left.

You just scratched the surface of DAY6 gorgeous discography. As a My Day I’m so proud of this comeback. My advice is to listen to the songs in chronological order to better understand the growth and the evolution of DAY6 music.

As a MyDay (Day6's fandom), these guys are my dopamine. Though it's sad that my bias Jae has left, they are still the same Day6 that I know. I feel like I have nothing left to say on the recommendation part since many fans have done so and their words are much better than mine would ever be. I hope you enjoy the Day6's journey because it's really fun, I can guarantee that much.

Exactly. All of their songs sound like OSTs and they don't have a single bad song. I kinda fell out of day6 after Jae left, cuz he was my bias, and they soon went to the military as well. I do also wish Jae was still in the band, and ik he kinda managed to get himself cancelled pretty fast after, but this killing voice made me fall in love with them all over again. I forgot how amazing they and their songs are.

Fun Fact - Day6 started with 6 members as a band, primarily cos they dun dance very well 😅 but were too talented to be let go. They’re excellent singers (n later songwriters), & most played an instrument or 2 except fr Sungjin (the husky voice u like) (n he learnt the guitar 3 months b4 debut) - hence a JYP boy ‘real band’ was born ❤

There actually are multiple bands in kpop but the two who paved the way are CNBlue and FT island, both incredible and after like 15 years still very popular in Korea.

As a Myday, this is how I get to know them (in chronological order) "Congratulations" (debut song) and "You were beautiful" (just,...a timeless song) have a little storyline! They have a trilogy storyline consists of 3 MVs: "What can I do", "I loved you", and "When you love someone"! 5 songs above are from their ONE YEAR LONG PROJECT called "Everyday6" where they released 2 songs per month (1 title 1 b-side with MVs) started in 2017 compiled into 2 albums Moonrise and Sunrise (its crazy they pulled it off, they worked so hard) From 2018 on, it's a fun ride with 2 album series: "Youth: part 1 and 2" and "The book of us" (4 mini/albums as whole band, 1 album as a sub-unit called "Even of day") and of-course, Japan releases/ albums, and sub-unit/ members' solo projects. Their lastest comeback after all 4 years of their enlistment with the mini album "FOUREVER"! Thank you for showing them love! Day6 is a genuine band with great personalities and their music is very sincere, endearing and comforting! "Trust and listen to Day6" is a popular saying among fans bcuz of their "no bad songs" music discography! Funfact: Day6 started with 6 members and then down to 5 and now only 4. All songs are self-composed including lyrics, instrumental and arrangement alongside with their main producer Hong Ji Sang (been with them since debut)

Thank you so much for reacting to Day6! They deserve all love and attention. Like you said: they are real artists. If you want to check them out separately, I have to disappoint you. Wonpil, Young K, Jae (former member) and even drummer Dowoon have officially released their solo songs or entire albums. Unfortunately, we can only hear Sungjin in the demo for their song Afraid, which I highly recommend! So if you ever want to take a look at the Day6 members, I recommend: - Sungjin: Demo "Afraid" - Young K: "Microphone" (or his performance at Dingo Music where you can hear fragments of songs from his latest album, just like here in Killing Voice), - Wonpil: "Voiceless(안녕, 잘 가)", - Jae (that you haven't met yet): "Pacman", - Dowoon: duet with Song Heejin: "Out of the Blue (문득)". If you watch it with the Day6 guide, you will be prepared for the amazing world of their music

L-R: Wonpil, Sungjin (leader), Young K, Dowoon (maknae) - 5:02 - Song is called "days gone by" - No solo stuff from Sungjin yet - he was working on it last year, but put it on hold for the DAY6 comeback. :)) but ia - his ability to convey emotions when singing is sooooo good. - I recommend anything and everything from their discography haha - they've tried so many sounds and genres and it's very hard to put them in a box soundwise. I think Congratulations is always a must, and then their Every DAY6 project in 2017 when they released 2 songs a month the entire year. They really came into their own during that year! - loved that you mentioned they're very vibey bc the running joke is their songs often sounds super happy but the lyrics are Sad ty for the reaction!!

Day 6 are very talented musicians ! Young K , bassist is an extremely talented singer / sondwriter , who rights most of thier lyrics as well as for other artist . All of them contribute to composing the songs for thier albums. They are definitly not your typical K-pop group. Wonderful melodies and great lyrics !❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰

Great video!! Please keep reacting to Day6, i'd love to see more! Day6 have and incredible discography, literally no skips for me. Their music is so upbeat, but full of feels. I recommend starting with Congratulations and You were beautiful as the follow up, and after that any of Zombie, Shoot me, Healer, Afraid, Time of our life, I need somebody. Also if anyone wants to know, left to right is Wonpil, Sungjin (leader), Young K, Dowoon (maknae).

I’m a big Kband lover and Day6 are my favorites!! They really are so special in the industry and all of Korea are also falling in love with them now! If you want to listen to other Kbands I would recommend Lucy and Catch The Young Lucy has a member (Yechan) who plays violin in their songs and it makes them so unique! They’re incredible Catch the young are a newer band and debuted in November of last year! They have their first comeback on the 3rd of April and these dudes are so talented! They write and produce their own music and have studied music!

If you haven't already, would love to recommend you check out a Korean band called The Rose. Been a fan for years but only saw them live for the first time recently and it was amazing. Back to Me, Alive, or Lifeline are great starting points off their most recent album DUAL.

If there is a group that I would recommend for no skip songs it would be day6. Like good lord are all their songs so good. They’re also a group that everyone I know casually stans, we all love and support day6 in this household. I freaking neeeeeed them to do a concert in my country, I was bopping so hard to this killing voice, imagine seeing them live T_T

Congratulations, the debut song is where I would start. The list of songs that MyDay will recomend is really long (like everything). Muy personal favs are Zombie, I Wait, I Love You, and I Need Somebody (no official MV) Edit: I realized after I hit comment, the list of songs I love includes so many others too, just pick randomly and it will be good

Thank you for reacting to Day6! There are quite a lot of comments already explaining who is who and a summary of their discography and where they come from! There are a lot of live performances, but maybe you could be interested on reacting the live performance of their 2nd world Tour concert "GRAVITY" where they released the live performances of some of their set list! (Best Part, For Me (A song that has not been included in the killing voice but the message is so meaningful talks about self love), Shoot Me, Time of Our life and You were Beautiful) I also always recommend to watch the live performance of "I'll Try" to enjoy a good acapella moment. The song is BEAUTIFUL! Anyway, thank you again !!

Now this is what I call a reaction. I looooove your reaction a lot! Definitely anticipating more of your videos reacting to Day6 after this. For start I would just suggest you to listen to bunch of the songs that you really like here. Maybe you could start with Days Gone By, Zombie and Sweet Chaos. Next, react to Congratulations (their debut song) is a must imo, You Were Beautiful (their most famous song in South Korea) and Time of Our Life (their second most famous). Would love to suggest more! :D

Hi ! I'm glad you reacted to day6 ! It's a band I've been listening to for years and I am so happy to see you loved them and their music as well. If it helps, I've seen someone describe Wonpil (keyboard) as a full, rich silver voice. And Sungjin (guitar) has a deep, warm wooden voice. YoungK (bass) has a very clear and versatile voice, he can do whatever he wants with it and he is absolutely perfect with harmonies because he can blend with other members when needed. And Dowoon (drums) has a rare, baryton voice we can only hear in some very specific occasions but he does some low harmonies as well. As for Sungjin solos, I think you should listen to the guide of Afraid. It's a song he wrote and the guide is amazing. But you have to listen to full songs, you'll love them. Their musicality and how they make music is full of surprises, they never go where you expect them to go (I can think of Marathon, Man in a Movie, OUCH, Emergency, I need somebody, ... that are songs you don't know but are... Weird and amazing in a very good way)

They all write their own songs & fr others too & hv their solo albums/singles except fr SJ. YoungK, the bassist, is 3rd on the chart of idols with most copyrights 🎉
