Without entering in spoilers, the opening doesn't reflect what the anime is about, and that's one of the things that makes the opening so good, it contrast a lot

Before watching the anime - wow, the op is so upbeat. I bet the show will have nothing sad at all After watching the anime - everything is meaningless and there is no certainty but death

Death Parade is a phenomenal Anime, but is very dark. If that’s your vibe I can’t recommend it enough. The games played never fail to drive the story deeply.

Death Parade is an absolute masterpiece with only 12 episodes and satisfactory end. The opening song is from BRadio "Flyers", so much funk on it, the complete version of the song is great. The ending song is from Noisycell "Last Theater". This song is to me, one of the best anime endings ever. Each episode has pictures of the final of the story so, the ending would spoils you the end of the episode, be careful on it. This series is a must to watch. Each final episode will break your heart from the beginning to the end. (OMG! what a horrible english)

The ending song is called Last Theater by Noisycell and thank god the full song is longer than 1:30, it’s just shortened down to fit the ending

I HIGHLY recommend that you listen to the full version of the ending. It’s one of the most emotional songs i’ve ever heard of. The lyrics are depressive and tragic, yet it instills hope. It's connected to the general theme of the anime

The band for the opening, Bradio, is one of my absolute favorite groups these days. And it's not just because the lead singer is a Japanese man with a giant afro

Such a shame that wasn't the actual visuals for the ED.. Was kinda hyped to see your reaction to the contrast between the OP and ED with the ED being more representative of the show

you will never find a better op than the houseki no kuni op i listened to it countless times but each time i find another instrument i didnt notice truly a masterpiece

This show shocked me with how it stole my heart. I finished session 2 of Mob Psycho while cat-sitting for a friend and flipped a coin between Death Parade and Angels of Death to see what show I would watch next. Twelve episodes later, Death Parade was my favorite anime and still is to this day. It hit a lot of personal likes (playing cards ascetic, dapper clothing, human psychology, mystery) and this show somehow managed to make the protagonist my favorite character. If you want a chill but existential experience, I highly recommend this show.

This one is such a good show! Very emotional and not a dull moment from start to finish!!

The reason why I love Death Parade because it's a deep introspection on what means to make the most out of life by reflecting on the ways and reasons that people die.

The anime is great too even if totally different from the opening vibes XD but hard to describe without spoiling, i guess "existential topics" and consequences of actions? Worth a watch for sure, only one season of 12 episodes but they cover a lot of grounds in that time.

I highly recommend - shadows house op / end, it's very aesthetic, also it's sung by ReoNa, which makes the songs perfect by default.

One of the things I love about this anime is how it makes people think about life and how decisions are made with what we know yet everyone is doing that so the good the bad and the ugly happen, and we have the choice to forgive or be consumed by emotions. All in all just a real thinker of a show that shows emotions

I think you should check out the op of Kokkoku. I haven't watched the show and from what I've heard it's apparently not particularly good, but the op is absolutely amazing and the vibe is immaculate. The full song is called flashback by myavi vs kenken.

I actually just watched the show a week or two ago. It was absolutely incredible. The best thing for me about the show was how it made me actually genuinely care about characters that are literally in a single episode. I don't think I have ever experienced that before. You need to watch this show. It is like 12 episodes and an OVA, so it wont take long to watch. The show is only one season and I doubt we will get more cause the story is completed. As for the opening, if you watch closely, you will catch subtle hints that the show is darker than it looks at first glance. Like you see the girl with the black hair drinking a Memento Mori, which means "remember you must die." The blue hair girl dancing on the dance machine. That machine is made from one of those shrines in Japanese homes to honor a dead relative. And the flowers surrounding it are flowers often found at funerals. And there is the elevator doors opening to show mannequins suspended by wires in the elevator. I am sure there is more, but I cant remember any more off the top of my head.

Death Parade was a project starts with Death Billiards (yup, this is the first chapter) just when Death Note ends. Its made by the same animators, Mad House. I recomended watch it , because you watch the opening, and it has nothing to do with the anime xD. you don't expect it

Death Parade is one of my all-time favourites and I reckon you'd love it. You can't tell from the OP, but it's a single season series about _______ of _____ _______ _____ in a classy bar setting. I've still got both these songs which are even better in full (Flyers by BRADIO, Last Theater by Noisycell) in my regular playlist. There was talk of a second season and I'm still hopeful it'll get it years later like with Devil Is A Part Timer because I don't believe it actually got cancelled.

I would recommend you Kekkai Sensen. The english title is Blood Blockade Battlefront. It has 2 openings and endings as well as many memorable songs in the soundtrack

The op is a bop but i LOVE the ed song. i recommend you listen to the full version, it's a little on the long side but very great and emotional all the way through.

OP: This is the greatest show on Earth, bar none (pun intended) ED: Everything you ever care for, anything good or means anything in your short life flash before your eyes. Now make a choice. All fits perfectly in the show. One of the best anime out there for sure. Check it out man.

this is a less popular anime but ben-to has a great opening but if you want a very unique anime opening "the kings avatar" is a chineese anime and the opening is great and very diffrent from other anime openings

Death Parade is one of my all time favorite shows and the opening is one of my favorite anime openings but from very different reasons. As others have said, the opening is very misleading. What I love about the Death Parade is that it makes the viewer think about the big questions in life and death, and it draws out very emotional responses from the viewer. Every episode has it's own beautiful story but there is also this overarching story that ties it all together. It only has 12 episodes but they use that time to build a fascinating world and an impactful journey that'll stay with for a long time. Highly recommended!

This anime is one of the best I've ever seen, I really liked it because especially for that episode in which there is a character that looks a lot like a character from a very famous anime , I recommend the opening of this anime : Poco's Udon World , years ago this anime made me cry

Oh someone should had sent the neutral ending and not one of special ones with the final of the episode, (the neutral ending(THE ONE WITH THE DOLLS) gives more the vibe of the anime ). This show is amazing, and your react are always great, keep up the good reacts.

The ED video was not the normal one as it was the episode scenes with the ED playing over the Anime is over with 1 season 12 eps + 1 OVA Ep

This was a serious series that was a bit difficult. The best part was the characters, they were pretty intensely 'written' I especially enjoyed the gal with the special eyes.

Honestly I'd rather have a short video that keeps my attention throughout instead of a long dragged out one where I have to skip 5 times. Keep up the good work!

hio in the video you got the ed was a specal one (only in visuals) so i reccoment to watch the regular ed the visuals ar really fitting to the song a bit dark and emotional.

I will always prefer the original one shot rather than the whole anime because the episodic conflict is the best part instead of the overarching plot that was added. To explain the original Death Billiards was a single episode done for Anime Mirai 2013, a proyect were funding is giving to train young animators with the end result of some shorts. That year in particular ended up producing the you could call pilot episode for Death Parade and Little Witch Academia.

I love Death Parade and it's interesting to watch Death Billiards afterwards. I believe that came first. The opening is verrrry misleading when it comes to the tone of the show. It'll make you have an existential crisis.
