What an honor and blessing that Home Free has had the chance to sing with the great legend Kenny Rogers at the request of Kenny Rogers himself. While maintaining the respect and appreciation of Kenny Rogers, this sounded wonderful again. The voices fit together so well. With the great vocal percussion added, this was perfect. The collaborations they have done have been off the charts awesome! Another fun fact is that Diana Ross saw their video of Love Train which inspired her to look up other songs they had done and she liked them so much that she contacted Home Free to perform at her 75th birthday party! Home Free was supposed to preform this with Kenny Rodgers on The Tonight Show but due to having extremely bad luck with every flight they booked getting cancelled. When they finally managed to get there it was to late but they did get to spend time with Kenny backstage. After Kenny passed they released their version of The Gambler as a tribute to him.😊
You want to see them enjoying themselves in Christmas songs then you should do "Grandma got run over by a reindeer", "Full of cheer" (Tim original) and "Cold hard cash" (Austin original) - all AWESOME!!!

The lyrics are definitely about the baby born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem. That makes it a Christmas song, and these 6 voices have put it into a fascinating, masterful arrangement. Kenny was very generous giving lead verses to everyone. A great collaboration!
Tennessee Ernie Ford did this on a Christmas show 60 or more years ago and a little boy literally stole the show with his response. The video is on RU-vid.
Just so you know, Home Free has been independant for over 4 years. So anything from their "Dive Bar Saints" album and after, you shouldn't have any copyright issues with.

lol I agree about 12 days of Christmas. No matter how good the singing is, the song annoys me. If it hadn’t been Kenny Rogers and Home Free I might not have liked this song as much. But I really do enjoy hearing them together. I got to see Kenny live. Great concert! He and Eddie Rabbit were together. They were playfully billed as Roger(s)/Rabbit.
