Thank you so much Dereck.
Derek has such good tastes in music, nice to see how open-minded he is towards every kind of musics. Greetings from France 😉. I suggest you a personnal favorite : Teri Moïse - Les poèmes de Michelle (classic 90's french)
Hello Dereck, The musical style and arrangements make me think of the French Band “Les Innocents.” Good memories about this song. The lyrics help too. It's well written. Peace, folks. ☮👈😎
So underrated in France, i have all her LP's, one one of my french female singer. 24 Years old, pretty, intelligent (not like Céline Dion), an own universe. U like or not. Not my favorite of her but i like ❤❤
Great memories from when I was 12 when I was in 7th Grade at college.🙂☺🥰😍🤩 I remember very well this song, released I believe in the spring of 1991, which had a very big success, it is one of her emblematic tracks of her career. Besides, I saw her a lot in CLIP on the M6 channel in the Boulevard Des Clips when I came home from college or on Canal + during the ranking of the TOP 50 on the weekend or during the week for that of the TOP ALBUMS. Jil Caplan isn't just a female singer from the 90's, she was even there towards the end of the 80's, in 1987 I think (I was 10), where I heard about her for the first time. Her first song was Oh! Tous Les Soirs, she was young (early twenties, had just studied at the Sorbonne in Paris) but I preferred Comme Sur Une Balançoire the same year, more "catchy", dynamic with that extra "little thing" and that we remember well, which marks us. Besides, I often see this clip again on RFM TV who play it quite often for its 80's period, which proves that this song is a classic from this album. My favorite from the album is As-Tu Déjà Oublié? (remix) which I love because it’s very “catchy” as you would say! I recorded it on cassette at the beginning of 1992 on NRJ.
She has a very peculiar way to sing, pronounce words and a low tone mike Patricia Kaas, it's quite unusual.. the song sounds happy but it's about a relationship that doesn't work! Very cute when you sing along in french, you should do it more often Dereck!
Le duo avait enregistré à New York il me semble??
