Les Cowboys Fringants is an amazing french canadian folk band and i do suggest you react to more of their work like En Berne, and Les étoiles filantes.
And the singer Karl Tremblay just died november 15 at only 47 years old. We even see 2 close friends working for sports got hyper emotionnal. Was so sad. Politicien, Montreal Canadien team and many more peoples express their sorrow and lost. He was quite belove.
Hi Dereck! This one of the Cowboys fringants is one of my favorites. So thank you for that! If you're interested in listening more of them, try "L'Amérique pleure" or "Les étoiles filantes"
Hi Derek, It's not the official video. I made it 12 years ago (I apologize for the subtitles, they are not very good, English is not my language and it was much worse at that time! 😅). I’m glad you enjoyed my editing and especially this song. I recommend "L'Amérique pleure" from the same band (America is crying). I’ve been following you for a long time because I’m a Mylène Farmer and Jean-Jacques Goldman fan, among others. If you wish to react to a song by Mylène Farmer in concert ("Nobody knows", concert "Avant que l'ombre" in Bercy, 2006), here is the link (not my editing, it's from the concert), you should not regret it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0C4r6WkOCo0.html There’s also "Angel, parle-moi" ("Angel, talk to me") a Mylène Farmer's song, the studio version on images of several of her concerts if you’re interested. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0C4r6WkOCo0.html I was lucky enough to have been at all the Goldman concerts (several times every concert!) and all the Mylène Farmer concerts as well (several times every concert as well!). In 2023, I will go to her concert in Paris and also in Lyon and I hope that you will have the opportunity to come because it's always absolutely extraordinary, sublime, beautiful, moving... Yeah, I'm a little bit a Mylène's fan... Thanks for what you do, it’s always very interesting.
I know it's been a while. But the main singer died yesterday. The whole of Québec is in morning. You should do Les Étoiles Filantes if you feel like it.. it's a great song..and boy people, such as myself, are having a hard time.
One of my favorite songs of all time I lile the fact that it says "il ne reste plus que quelques minutes à ma vie" (theres only a few minutes to my life) in the begining and at the end it say "il ne reste plus que quelques minutes à la vie" (theres only a few minutes to life)
You have to listen to “La fin du show”, one of the last songs sung by Karl and published in the last Les Cowboys Fringuants album, after the death of the iconic singer. When you understand the meaning of the lyrics, you can't help but cry...
Thank you for reacting to this song! Les Cowboys Fringants are definitely one of my favourite band, their lyrics are thoughtful and always hit the mark when it comes to delicate subjects (climate change, politics, etc). If you liked "Plus Rien", "L'Amérique Pleure" (America is crying) might interest you! Best regards from Québec ^^
I love how even though you don't speak french, I could still see you bobbing your head along and react to the rising intensity of the music and the lead singer's voice (Rest in peace, Karl) the same way anyone who do speak french would! This song transcends languages! I'm glad you approved of it!
Hello Dereck. I love this band ans this song but for me the best version of this song is on the album "en concert au Zénith de Paris (live)". It's even more dramatic. Good job as Always.
Hi Derek, if you still want to go with French Canadian musics, and because I know that you really like Ginette Reno, I suggest « Un peu plus haut, un peu plus loin » by Ginette, but from the live in 1975. I know that you already did this song, but the live version of 1975 is just something else. Pure and raw emotions, something you are sure to like.
Goddamit. I didn't know this one, and it's a good surprise. Thank you Dereck and thank you Canadian cousins. 2010 ! Yep. Good vision. My brother told me things like that in the 70's and everyone was laughin' at him. Not anymore.
It is not the Earth that is threatened, it is humanity. And after us, the planet will recover very well from our disappearance. Goodbye Humanity. Thanks Dereck for this song.
This is a favorite of mine.. but if you want to dig in Québec Music... Jean Leloup is the thing. Sang d'Encre, 1990, La vallée des reputations, I Lost My Baby, Barcelone....
Hey Derek the lead signer Karl Tremblay past away this week. One of the best group from Québec from the past 25 years. You should check others song from this group. You will love it. Rip Karl
Every time I give a listen to this song it hits a bit more, especially considering what we have been dealing with in the last couple of years. The first time I heard "Plus Rien" it gave me goosebumps and it scared me so much I couldn't sleep. The lyrics gives us insights on our future that are hard to shake because they feel so real and premonitory. I also want to thank you for your constant interest in french music and artists. Keep up the great work. You might want to check out the band "Mes aieux". A Quebec band that showcase old Quebec folk songs with modern tendencies. Here is a link to their first hit song "Dégénération" with french and english lyrics. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k2V3NrvThlg.html&ab_channel=FBGM
I love watching you listend to Québec stuff!! We got alot! PLEASE TRY Charlotte Cardin, she sings in english too! Try Meaningless ! She opened our HUGE festival last year with that song ! Xxx thanks again Merci ❤
YT suggested me your video, maybe because I watched many Les Cowboys Fringants songs for a few days. Why? Because their lead singer, Karl Tremblay, died at 47 on November 15 from a prostate cancer. All Québec went into mourning...
There is still a mistake in the traduction in the video! It say "Nothing" but it should have been "Nothing Left" as in THERE WAS something there before. 😅
Bon faut savoir qu'il réagit comme ça pour chaque tune ! Tu peut mettre une chanson pour bébé il ferait de même ! Mais c'est sympa il fait de la pub mais on le vera pas à Hollywood !
