To give you a background on the life of Marcelito Pomoy.... he was born into a broken family, his mother left the family when he was still at a very tender age of 2 years old and his father ended up in jail, with no relatives wanting to help, Marcelito had no other choice but to join him and stay inside the jail with his father for such a long time. Eventually one of the prison guards took him home and provided his needs while his dad had to continue serving his prison sentence. He studied kindergarten through to his 3rd grade in grade school in a local public school. He was neglected in that family so at a very young age of about 8 years old left home and walked the streets of Manila in search of his mother whom he really never knew, often going for days hungry, doing whatever odd jobs he can do to be able to buy a piece of bread or scraps of food he could find on the streets. All that time he learned to humm and sing to himself to sleep. He did so much variety of odd jobs like being a helper in construction sites, mixing cement manually with gravel and water and carrying it to the guys needing to build hollow blocks with cement, etc., selling boiled duck eggs which is a popular delicacy called "Balot" upto the wee hours of dawn, peddling ice cream to earn a few cents, any job an under 12 year old kid could do Marcelito had done it. He would hang around clubs and restaurants and watch in amazement at the talent of the singers' performing while he watched from outside the door. He started singing himself and follow the way he sees the singers sing and thru the years he kept on imitating any singer he could watch on other people's TV singing. He was a no read no write kid having left his 3rd year public grade school education to fend for himself and survived all those years. He worked cleaning chicken pens in huge chicken farms and sang to the chickens while cleaning their pens and it was while singing to his audience of egg laying chickens that he discovered he could sing both a male and female voice. He honed his skills further and after gaining confidence in singing other artists songs copying exactly the singers breathing pattern, diction, way of delivering their songs, etc, joined a Philippines TV network conducting a singing competition in Manila. He passed the audition and went on the semi finals and grand finals.. He won the competition hands down despite so many excellent competitors. His monetary prize was such a huge amount to him that he never imagined he would be able to own in his lifetime as a grade 3 school educated adult. He signed a record contract with the recording studio arm of the same TV network and the rest is now history. His SUFFERINGS in life I just barely touched on the surface.... You won't be able to watch his RU-vid videos about his life story coming from Marcelito Pomoy because he is not comfortable talking in conversational American English. He can sing almost any song in so many different languages with the help of a diction coach but talk to him in English, interview him in English and he would need a translator to assist him. He is very rich now in terms of an average Filipino earning a decent living in manila, he bought a decent home with his earnings from the singing contest and is one of the most sought after performer in the Philippines with concerts in Canada, Dubai, Spain and so many other countries. He married his girlfriend and they have a child now to enrich their married blissful life as a family. He was able to reunite his mother, father and siblings. His father had to return to his own family but joins them from time to time. Marcelito has now returned to school to be more confident in his life but it's still a very long way to go for him. He does an excellent job of emulating the diction, way of delivering of the singers he hears and watches. His favorite singer is Celine Dion and Andre Bocelli and the PRAYER is one of his favorite songs. He first listens to each song he wants to sing, following their pronunciation, breathing patterns, etc until he's able to follow them like he did with Celine Dions songs, etc. I hope I have shed some light on Marcelito Pomoy. Let's not forget he still is in his grade school level education but he's getting there. I've also been listening to Dimash for a year so my ears are used to hearing someone sing in a similar range. This song just didn't hit me like his next one did. I saw the second one you did before this one and all i can say is the same comment, DAMN!!!!!! What a talent he is. I am like you, i love the tenors but i also loved his high voice and that was a great idea to tape the high side because to get them both, he was having to cut off one or the other to kind of like reset for the next one. I have never seen one guy do a duet.

so this gentleman won Philippines got talent id 2013 with this very song he is 34 years old and married he has had a hard life his father went to jail when he was 2 and he had to go live with his father in jail .. he lived on the streets and started to sing then found he had a knack for it so then he just worked on his singing till he got big break and won the PGT in 2013 the rest they say is history.. loved your reaction and he sings another song by Celliine Dion called the power of love that will have you rethinking your thought on his falsetto ..lol just sayin... anyways nice too see you again and see you next time I will leave the link in the proper place

Marcelito is not singing in falsetto. He was born with the ability to sing in both soprano and tenor ranges, and does it beautifully without ever having had any training. He's entirely self taught. Incredibly talented man!

FYI, the WishBus is really an FM Station on a bus roaming around the city (Metro-Manila) giving the fans the chance to see/hear their fave Artists. It's a chain reaction effect :) . You've been mainly reacting to chinese artists. So, ofc you've been getting mainly request of chinese artists. I remember you started with Dimash and Teresa Carpio. However, there are many Dears who are also Martians, and so we encouraged you to give Huahua a chance. It's the same with how you heard Sohyang and Henry Huo Zun, because of subscribers who have overlapping fandoms. Now that you've posted Marcelito, RU-vid algorithm will start promoting this video to other viewers who enjoy him or other Philippine artists, the majority of which probably have never seen your videos being suggested by RU-vid, unless they are also Dears or Martians. It will be a trickle at first. But, once you start the ball rolling, you should experience more and more requests, the same way when you first start reacting to Huahua, because you're attracting not only people with overlapping fandoms, but also the main fandom of the particular artist. It's sad to see you lost Sohyang reaction vid :( . You could've gotten a lot more suggestions of her otherwise, and eventually her other compatriots, from the main Sohyang fandom. Yeah, her videos are more jealously guarded unfortunately. It takes extra effort to post Sohyang reaction vids. You could try what OxyChan does, which is inserting a blank screen with notes, to cut the video/audio for a few seconds. Or, pause the video every now and then during recording and make a short commentary. Or, a combination of both. You can even test that OxyChan method first, by editing and reposting your previous Sohyang reaction vid that was blocked, and see what happens.

One reactor who featured her latest trending video (You are the reason by Calum Scott) got 150k hits in just a week. She probably generated tens of thousands of new subs as well for her reactors. She is really impressive.
For example, Music Gamers Reaction channel got 830k views on their reaction video for Morissette's cover of Secret Love Song and 340k views for her Rise Up cover. Amazing numbers and the views keep growing on a daily basis. She is an exceptional talent who may become international next year as Rhett Lawrence, Mariah Carey's producer was so impressed with Mori's Rise Up cover wc he saw on yt that he visited the Philippines twice ( the first was mainly to observe Mori in an actual concert performance) to discuss the possibilty of releasing an album next year. Morissette, on the other hand, already visited Capitol Records in the US to continue the negotiation.
