The thing I always find most impressive about this performance is that not only is Till giving an amazing vocal performance, but he's also doing it while wearing 50+ kilos of pyro equipment on his back and not being able to move above a slow walk.
@@XShadoumonsutaX yes, he fell and hurt his back in rehearsal I think. Now, he either levitates on a stand while wearing the wings (takes a lot of the pressure off his back), or they play a piano version of the song which is hauntingly beautiful.
I think on this tour it was also the final song of the encore. Just let that bit sink in, all you said above, plus he's just done 2+ hours of a Rammstein show before that performance!! Till is a BEAST! A beautiful beautiful beast lol!
Rammstein is arguably one of, if not the best stage performance acts (in terms of show) you can see today, you'd have to visit 5 concerts in a row to see everything that is going on and you'd still not see all the details, i've seen them live a couple of times and each time they blew me away with their powerful sound and incredible over-the-top performances. We've all seen pyro-technics at concerts.. well, once you've seen Rammstein once... you'll realize that all those other bands are basically using sparklers for effects. (compared to this band) They use flame throwers, light themselves on fire, use fire cannons and... well simply put, there's fire everywhere lol. Even if you wouldnt like the music, their show will leave you stunned and in awe. If ever having the chance.. go to see them in concert, it will be one of the best things you'll ever see in your life.
Yeah, the official video for this is just outstanding. I also like to have the English subtitles available. Really brings in the message, rather than just the spectacle.
To get an impression of the band I would first do the Rammlied Live from Madison Square Garden. It's like their calling card and shows what the band is capable of. Greetings from Germany Small tip: If you can't pronounce the word, just use a translation program. Switch to German and type in the word and let it read it to you.
I watch a lot of Rammstein reactions. What I love about yours, is that you “get it”. Reacting with “Beautiful Chaos” is totally on point. They try to provoke. They push the limits - that’s who they are. Many reactors are all about the OMG factor.. yep, it’s supposed to be in your face. To see the beauty and skill that goes into every performance and MV is not a small thing. Sub’ed after looking back at this one. 👍🏻
yes this version from Sydney 2001...Till is on fire :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DVn0ts8hgpM.html , song is also a reference to the air show disaster in US base at Ramstein (Germany) 1988
The guys from The Hu are Rammstein fans, above all they were inspired by Rammstein's originality, they don't sing like most metal bands and sing in German even though at first that seemed to be a disadvantage, but at the same time The end became part of their personal hallmark, the guys at The Hu admire the persistence of keeping their mother tongue and making their music their own way regardless of whether they were going to be famous or not. Thanks for your video, greetings from Mexico 🤘🏼🔥
We're going to see Rammstein for the 8th time this month. I remember watching Till with the wings for the first time years ago. Every time we go to see them, we think they couldn't possibly get any better. But they do. This upcoming gig has been rearranged twice over 2 years due to covid, so I'm really excited for it.
Great reaction from a really nice woman. I would recomment "Ohne Dich" the Official Video and "Rosenrot" also the Official Video. Both are not at the same level as Deutschland (there is nothing better to find) but in my opinion really good with deeper meanings. Greetings from Germany and hopefully with more reactions to Rammstein.
For me as a German, I first was disgusted about the singing style, because it reminded me of the talking style of fascist politicians of the Third Reich, Hitler and his minions. But Rammstein are the opposite to all that ideas of the Nazis, actually. Their lyrics are full of critisism about society in nowadays and full of irony or even sarcasm. So, for example, their song "America" is, eh, not exacly a hymn on the great USA... Rammstein is not exactly my favourite band, but I have to admit they are great! Watch "Deutschland" for example (=Germany): It is simply GREAT!!! It shows the history of Germany but always critical, VERY critical as it should be! I`m not "proud " of being German (I didn`t do anything to become German, I was simply born as German), but don`t get me wrong, I`m glad to be born here, because it is a privilege and it is a fantastic country to live in! I see it as a duty to make sure that it stays that way and never to repeat the horrors of our past again, never ever! Rammstein`s "Deutschland" lets me see the controversy of my homeland and reasures me that democracy and freedom isn`t given by God or Nature, we must work for it and earn it day after day! Rammstein is a great band - and not only because of their shows on stage.
Hi. I'm a russian and i Love Rammstein since late 90-es when I was a school boy. Ramms was like an air to me, however some of people around me also thought that Rammstein is a fascist band just because of their appearance (and yeah, videoclip "Stripped" that used some nazi propaganda in it) but it was not the case, I knew that they sing mostly about sex, that make them more Fraudists then Fascists))) I tried to tell to my surrounding the truth, and I glad that this stereotype about Rummstein is long in the past. By the way You should be proud to be german it's the only way you and your family can bring prosperity to your country. I like germans despite out common bloody history, i like you guys for the qualities that my nation will always luck. And I want that one day we could change the world to the better place using the best we've got together.
@@harrybalanovsky2169 Glad to meet a friend! Nevertheless I am not proud to be German, I didn`t do anything to become German. You can only be proud of something you have achieved. On the other hand I also don`t feel guilty of what happened in 3. Reich. I wasn`t even born when these atrocities happened. But it is my responsibility and that of every German to never let that happen again: Beware the beginnings! For my small share to keep Germany the beautiful country it is, I can be proud of - a bit, because actually it is only a small payback for all the things Germany gave to me. I`m not proud I am glad. And yes, it is a shame that there seems to be a wall between Germany and Russia.
@@AileenSenpai In Germany we are educated to see all the ugly details of our history to never ever let that happen again. We learn the hard way that there is not only Good and Evil but something Ugly in between. But "Deutschland" is a masterpiece! They also have a song, "America". It`s also great but read the lyrics carefully. You won`t like it because like in "Deutschland" they are pretty straight in their criticism... On the other hand, perhaps you like it BECAUSE... 😁
RAMMLIED is the song that they started this concert with...I think you'd enjoy it...Also, "Wohlt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen" ( do you want to see the bed in flames ) will always be a fav of mine.
Well, you do really great Rammstein reactions. :) As I’ve said under another video: it would be interesting to see you as a singer reacting to the greatest Rammstein cover out there: Nina Hagen - Seemann. Her vocal range is so crazy, she is probably the most talented German vocalist since the war.
Yes ! Rammstein's sound is really imperial and imposing. Drums and guitars are very strong. However , there are synthesizers behind. Theirs songs are harmonious. I purchased their DVD and CD , in 2020.
On the first glace it doesn't look like it but Rammstein is a very intellectual group. To enjoy the songs 100% you have to analyse the lyrics. The Song Engel is a critic on religion. It kinda describes how people in religious cults isolate themselfs and have to "cling on stars in the sky". A Symbolism for how religious people have to seek for evidance of their believe in everything because there is no real evidance. But if you look at the video of the song Deutschland from Rammstein you see a lot of detailed references to german history and a lot of Symbolism. So maybe you might do a video on this song.
This has always been my favorite Rammstein song. The studio version has the chorus with all in female vocals until Till sings the final line of the chorus, and the juxtaposition is so amazing. Looking back I realize I was waiting for Tatiana to provide both halves of the beauty/brutality dichotomy from a single vocalist though. ;)
One of my favorite Rammstein songs! I often listen to it while playing Star Trek Online and just focusing on improving my game skills, Rammstein in general works really well for me as gaming music hehe
While this is a great performance, I think the Live Aus Berlin version is better, simply because they have a female vocalist on stage. Well, when I say on stage, I mean in a cage hung above the stage.
So, Basically, what you Watched was a German Storm Trooper in WWI or WWII with a flamethrower. The Pace is Martial. This is the Kind of thing you'd be into if you were hanging out of the Turret Of a Pz IV while you were rolling into , say, Minsk with your boys in '41. They sing about one thing But Watch them... Their performance bespeaks another story entirely, somethings all Germans Know, But can't say out loud. Cetain ideas and sentiments aren't legal in Germany today, not since 1945 when they lost WWII.But do the Visuals,AND the crowds reaction to them, one wonders, conceal a hidden truth about the German soul.
I'd recommend 'listening' to Rammestein Engel (voice is a bit different live), as well as 'Ich Will' - and for laughs .. 'Tu quiero puta' by Rammstein. You almost need to compare live to video.
Verse 1: Till Lindemann] Who in their lifetime is good on Earth Will become an angel after death You look to the sky and ask Why can't you see them [Chorus: Christiane "Bobo" Hebold & Till Lindemann] Only once the clouds have gone to sleep Can you see us in the sky We are afraid and alone Because God knows I don't want to be an angel Geechi Gotti 'Letter To The Blocc' Official Lyrics & Meaning | Genius Verified [Verse 2: Till Lindemann] They live behind the sunshine Separated from us, infinitely far They must cling to the stars (Very tightly) So they don't fall from the sky [Chorus: Christiane "Bobo" Hebold & Till Lindemann] Only once the clouds have gone to sleep Can you see us in the sky We are afraid and alone Because God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel [Bridge] [Chorus: Christiane "Bobo" Hebold & Till Lindemann] Only once the clouds have gone to sleep Can you see us in the sky We are afraid and alone Because God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel God knows I don't want to be an angel
You just reacted to their life performance. Fine - but you missed completely all the issues which make Rammstein just this outstanding band: 1. Their perfect use of the German language 2. Their subliminal links to German history 3.Their - to natural speakers - all too obvious game with the "German attitude/language"! You realy missed a lot of contents... 😞
I'd love to see you react to Max Raabe to see if you see a similarity in their singing style: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M3xcC2H4NoY.html
A rough translation of the chorus: (Not going to rhyme haha) -When all the good people go to sleep, they all can sence an angelic rest. But now they are afraid, feeling forlone! As God knows, I´m not going to be an angell!
For another great and fun song from Rammstein, please react to "Pussy". It's one of the few songs in which they sing in English too and the live version is pretty cool and dirty.
Hey , a tip for your pronunciation: Here in germany we pronunce the "ST" im RammSTein how english speekers would prounuce the word "sh*t", but without the letter "i". Rammstein also has an Song, wich is also called Rammstein, just like their Band name, there you can hear how its pronunced, but the rolling R at the beginning is more a bavarian thing. I would like to see more reacting videos of Rammstein. Greetings
i love your reactiong videos!! Well done 🖤 I would love to see your reaction to the live performance of “Bück dich” in Paris (2017). Just a heads up though, It is pretty graphic 🖤
Yeah, you did it! Epic performance! You gotta be special to put a sold out Madison Square Garden singing along in....german! Great reaction, try the also amazing "Ich Tu Dir Weh" live in Madison Square Garden. It´s another hell of a performance and an absolute banger of a song!
In later performances he stands on a support that the wings are attached to. Became too heavy I guess. If you watch the making of Paris, he's scared to put them on
