This is one of the many reasons I like watching other people react to their songs so much, the various ways their music affects people from all walks of life is so fascinating to see! For me in this one it's the line: "Escape the truth, destroy the lies" and that is also due to the way they write their songs. Baffling to think this is from their first album produced as teens when they were an independant band. Glad to see you're back to reacting, hope that means everything is under control at your side!
There is new video of the Japan show collaboration with band maid, if you would like to check it out. So far I have seen a fan cam video, going to the Warning channel to see if they posted the video or it could be on the band maid channel.@@flowersafterrainfall
A lot of people can relate to this tune. I sure can... I spend several years "running", and this kind of encapsulates that whole time. One of my favorites, for sure!
This show at The Dakota Bar is epic. I heard that The Dakota is closed now but these performances by The Warning will ensure that they are not forgotten. Some of my favorite songs were done at this show.
These ladies make mw tear up more than id like to admit!!! It's a combination of how their lyrics can resonate with us and just how bad ass their passion and abilities are.... LOVE THEM!!!!!!
Glad to have you back! Yes, this one has a very strong self-empowerment message. Get out there and do life. Don’t let waiting for the perfect to keep you from living the good. Don’t blindly trust those who proclaim to have all the answers. We are all born to die, but what we each do in between those two events is what defines who we are.
For sure on my top list from The Warning! I like this version more than the recording version. I think it’s Ale’ vocals, they are outstanding here. For sure check out the Burnout official video, it’s great and you will get some good smiles to boot.
Hey Jessie, the whole concert at Dakota bar is wonderful. TW sings all the songs from their first EP (Escape the Mind) and first Album (XXI Century Blood) - young TW on fire. You can expect beautiful harmonies and bass lines from Ale. Superb vocals and guitar riffs (even dreamy ones) from Dany and very emotional lead singing by Pau as well as great fills.
Dakota Bar is a great concert. So many good songs from XXI Century Blood. Dakota Bar is when they premiered Dull Knives before Queen of the Murder Scene was released. EDIT: Nothing wrong with getting teary eyed listening to a song from The Warning.
I believe they make a lot of people cry. I do it all the time. I think seeing them this young and killing it. And them having no idea where they will be in a few years. It's tears of pride.
In some way you turn your reactions to TW into something very special, it's your way of being added to how special TW's lyrics and music are perhaps. Thank you for being sensitive and honest, that is very refreshing in this medium and in any other environment. Greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️
Runaway is still one of my favorites. I love Dany's galloping guitar riff and all the great harmonies. Ale's bassline is great as usual and Pau's ending is a work of art! I like this song so much I requested it from the band to get handwritten lyrics!
I love the butterfly 🦋 shirt that Dany is wearing at the Dakota Bar concert. I'm easily amused. Love this song as well. Thanks for the reaction. Glad to see you back at it.😊
Squirrel!!! 😉 hehe when you say the Burnout vid cracked me up!! 🤘 Pretty sure you'll love it, think you've seen enough side stuff they've done you'll catch some referenced they throw into the MV. 👍 Always enjoy your reactions, keep going! ❤
The whole Dakota bar show is high energy pretty much, probably one of my favorite shows mainly because we will never get back Ale's sweet vocals from that age, so good but all three came with that feel good energy. Ale now is pretty well polished and great to watch but back then she flung that bass around and moved with the groove and even at lunarios with the next album she was throwing that bass around like a seasoned professional prowling the stage like a bass goddess, thanks for sharing, awesome reation again, thanks!
Great reaction. This song is highly underrated. It does cut deep. Hope you're good. With flowers after rainfall, I expect videos only after it's rained. It hasn't rained yet, so no worries there.
Good to see you back. :) Take you time, and don't push yourself too hard. Loved the reaction. It is amazing how good they at that age. River Soul is another one from the Dakata Bar that is just incredible. :)
Jessie, it is great to see you back making new reaction videos. Today, The Warning played a song with Band Maid in Japan. At first listen, the song sounded awesome.
funny, I didn't even hear lyrics first time hearing this along with you...I focus on the melody, the performances, vocal intensity/inflections etc, bass line, overall vibe, drums...and your reaction of course! Is there something wrong with me? 😆
Hey you should react to some more ONE OK ROCK. Since you really enjoyed Take me to the Top, you should watch "Answer is Near/One by One" from the same show. This is the encore of the air with a shortened down version of Answer is near, which leads into One by One. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mc4sxV8oaqI.htmlsi=gz70c5uSrtFoy9ZO
