I always get mad whenever i see the line distribution because it’s a vocal line song and they really didn’t give tae and jin much lines but despite this song always blows me away. The vocals literally takes me to heaven.
This is the reason “JK” is the main vocalist of BTS. He is amazing - his adlibs and harmonizing with the others is top notch. On top of this his dancing and rapping skills are outstanding. I’m OT7 but I love Jimin. However, every time Jin sings my heart flutters. Then “JK” simply lays me out. Jimin sings “angel” heavenly vibes. “V” gives you that warm feeling. Like a sultry summer day when you drink ice tea under a shady tree.

So so gorgeous!!!!! I think people underrate JK a lot of the time because he really does make it look easy. I mean, the man sings on almost every song they put out, and not just lead.....his adlibs and harmonies and background vocals are there too, and imagine the extra time he has to put in to do all that recording. If you watched when they performed day 1 in rose bowl Jimin hit a second high note in front of his first just because he felt like it. Honestly, his range is ridiculous. Also, Jk really stood out to me in this song he's so incredibly talented & his voice is so stable live u sometimes have to double think like damn he really just be eating these high notes like its nothing. l I really love Jins voice too he has come a long way and his work ethic is so inspiring. Tae didn't have many lines but " I'm so afraid" is easily one of the most memorable lines in the song for me and hes an incredible singer, Stigma is probably one of my favorite solo songs from tae. The vocal line is so talented

JK doing his thing as the Main Vocalist ! I think this is the one of the very few performances which truly shows the amount of background vocals , adlibs and harmonies he does at the back . He does all of this in all of their performances but we just don't get to see it on camera because of which people tend to sleep on him and miss out on his amazing backup vocals and runs . He almost always sounds like the record and makes it look so effortless . There are literally songs in which you can hear him singing the entire fricking time in the back behind other vocalists and the rappers . I think you are one of the very few people who relate to the chain of thought that even if you have anyone as your bias in the group you can still appreciate and acknowledge the fact that JK is technique-wise the most stable and skilled (This is not about who a person's favourite vocalist is because that totally depends on an individual's preferences in terms of the singing styles and voice types . Its a very personal space for each one of us) Its just about JK's superiority in terms of techniques , stability , skillset and consistency of vocals . Also I don't think you've listened to House of Cards yet . Do check it out !!! And Jin's 'Abyss' is also a must watch !!! I saw this live in 2019. They did Epiphany and the Trurh Untold back to back. I was literally uncontrolably sobbing. It was such an amazing performance. You could literally hear a pin drop. ARMY was hanging on every word. 💜
I really love how they try to change it up during live performances in concerts just to make it a bit different. Like Taehyung adlibing(?) with Jin instead of Jungkook, and Jimin hitting the high note when the original is Jungkook. 👏💜

When you watch Bring the seoul, you'll see that VMIN both had a hard time wth this song at some point during the tour bc they got sick, and they were upset and disappointed with themselves, JK also felt that way bc he hurt his ankle and couldn't dance and erform with the boys, I cry watching those scenes, they are so emotional and u get to see how much they care

I think listing Jungkook's work as the main singer is unnecessary, in addition to talking about his incredible talent. This song in particular is proof of how his voice is always taken as the common thread between the voices of his companions in the vocal line (even the rap line relies on his harmonies many times). He unifies and enhances the voices of his companions, making them shine even more without taking center stage. There is always a lot on his shoulders (being also the center of the group, as seen in their choreographic formations) This song also, in all its live versions, tells us how generous he is as a singer (all are the ones with the others, I have never seen such a level of confidence and familiarity in show business), you do well in the mix version recognizing Jimin's high note, the same as JK does in the Seoul version, since Jimin on that tour was serious throat problems, and as shown in many videos, before going on stage they talked about who would take charge of said note. They all are an example of life.
The Truth Untold is one of the 10 songs in my top 3....THIS SONG IS BEYOND AMAZING!!! It is one of many songs that I really hope new ARMY's discover as it really let's you see that although Dynamite and Butter and PTD are sooo, sooo good, their songs in the Korean catalogue are truly masterpieces and are in a class by themselves. (Remember BTS had THREE #1 albums on the US Billboard charts that were in Korean and the music industry could not understand "how".) Their vocals are amazing, the story behind the song is so deep and they deliver like no one else! And can I just say that BTS are literally a group in which each member IS a visual!💜 All seven are just gorgeous! Love, love your reactions and so happy you did this one!

Part of what makes them singing live so amazing is all the background vocals and ad libs that you miss in the studio track. You also see so much more emotion on their face and through their body language. I can't imagine hearing them in person. I would pass out because I would forget to breathe.
If you ever watch all the videos of this song on their concert you will find some funny and precious moments - like JK nearly laugh but hide it being emotionally when Jin cracked his voice then when V and Jimin is sick but still perform this song they became more emotional. If you notice in the mix stage there is a part where V is crying because he cant perform very well in the whole concert because he is sick same as Jimin that he cant hold all his high notes because of his throat so the 3 of them sung his high notes. I love more their performances in live!! cause their voices sounds stronger, full emotions and over all they give us that perfect vib when they are singing!! personally I love much more Tae´s voice live cause it is stronger deeper and genuine!! I just love him live and Jin and Jimin are so strong and sweet at the same time, it amazes me all the time I hear them live singing, like a new experiences!! Jk, yes he sounds almost exactly as the studio record, and that is amazing too!
Yesssss you did the lives. I absolutely love Jimin's lower register which he used a lot here, Jin's powerful belts, JK's stability and Taehyung's emotions punching through. And the way JK let Tae have his adlibs, was just precious. I have a love-hate relationship with TTU because of the line distribution but it's such a beautiful song on the other hand.
My personal favorite performance of this song is where tae has the light mint hair, he has more ad libs( thank you for rewinding one!) and it’s also where jimin hit that crazy high note. I’ve seen this live, they perform it either right before or right after (can’t remember which) outro-tear by rapline. both songs are so emotional and all the members truly make you feel everything they feel. Nothing and no one beats BTS live. If you can get there, you have to go- both BTS and army don’t disappoint. The energy for all 2.5-3hrs is incredible. The hunger games to get tickets on the other hand, that’s the hard part🤣💜💜💜💜💜
