Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.
Thanks for the info spiral! I was kind of leaning that way through the captions and honestly reminds me the way of how the band Godsmack speaks on some of their songs like Voodoo, Serenity, etc.. I'm definitely digging the rock portion since I'm a big rock fan and then the lyrics itself they do a great job and without even understanding the words without caption it still gives you the up temple beat of enjoying the song.
dreamcatcher \:D/ should check out their newest release 'justice' released just a month ago. there's also the dance mv version if you just rather see the choreo instead of the 'flashy' mv lol. also you should use 'reaction' instead of reacting, you will get more exposure.
Thanks for checking out Dreamcatchers Scream! I saw that IvyShy recommended their new song Justice. It's a fantastic comeback. There's a few live performances for it that are also with checking out. The DancEAR performance and the It's Live performance. The It's Live performance may need a filter on the video but otherwise it's safe to check out. Do you remember which songs you reacted to in the past?
