Thanks a lot for the reaction. I saw Tarja two weeks ago at big Czech rock festival, where she was one of the headliners. Marko was her guest. They were great. In October I will see her with Within Temptation in Prague and in December on her Dark Christmas tour. She is an amazing performer. Tarja and Marko have started announcing the first dates for their Living the Dream Together European tour in 2025. Maybe they'll add the UK as well. Tarja had several concerts there as part of her last Raw tour. Tarja's voice has developed a lot since she left Nightwish. But those who claim that she only sings opera are unfortunately stuck at her last concert End of an Era and know nothing about her development.
Nope there is nothing wrong with her vocals, been binge watching her current tour , just played in Kazakhstan yesterday of all places !!!!!!!!!!! Vocally on fire 💘💘💘💘💘💘💥💥💥💥💥💥
Hearing that video as powerful as her voice is and as close as they were recording you can hear her without the mic. Which is the purpose of her training in German Lied (leed) Singing. To be heard at the back of the theatre over the orchestra in an age before amplification. She has continued training over the years including working with her vocal coach. She has also added more cultutal elements from both Finland and Argentina in her music. She has 19 albums out now. She does not rest on her laurels nor does she stop trying to grow. With her loyal Winter Storm cheering on every project she tries she is unafraid to experiment. And my goodness has she ever succeeded.❤
Tarja indeed has not lost one bit of it... quite opposite actually, she has gained more power and control over her voice. And you can definitely hear it. Tarja is now better than ever! I don't think that Tarja has ever had an operation to change her voice... it has just changed through age and training. She is still very operatic when she wants to, but nowadays in her rock concerts Tarja uses more of her chest voice as well. Tarja has always been very careful not to hurt her voice, since her early Nightwish days.
Tarja has no solo concerts in the UK coming up that I know of, but if you like Within Temptation, she's performing with them as a guest artist in November. They'll be performing in London, Nottingham, Leeds and Cardiff.
Ella es la mejor! Me gusta que ella cambie la forma de cantar de ella y el ritmo de la canción porque sino seria muy aburrido cantar siempre de la misma forma. Yo tuve la suerte de escucharla a ella en vivo y su voz es magnífica. La grabación con celular es mala y los videos que yo grabé de ella se escuchan mal porque el sonido es muy fuerte y la voz de ella es muy potente y lamentablemente se distorsiona. Me gustaria que haya grabaciones profesionales para que se pueda apreciar mejor la voz
