The best thing about this song is that Soyeon is the group's rapper, but for this song she only does the chorus and all the others have rap verses. She knows she's one of the best rappers in the games, she had nothing left to prove for herself, just to show off that the other members can do more than just sing as well. Also in the lyrics they are basically all just flexing. Minnie is saying something like "I know you all love my voice"; Yuqi says her deep voice is more powerful than a drum; Shuhua (the youngest) calls herself a boss baby and Miyeon calls herself a princess. And Miyeon just released her first solo album 2 weeks ago, with the single Drive! It's very differently but absolutely stunning.

That’s such an awesome point about her giving the others a moment to show their own talent. And that’s the mark of a great artist. She’s so talented and a badass which is the perfect combo to make a stuck up, overconfident idol. But Soyeon seems so incredibly humble and you can tell she loves her group and believes in their talent just as much of not more than her own. I haven’t seen much of her off stage, but watching Queendom I could see she still questions her own work and looks to her team for feedback. This is part of why I’ve started listing to K-pop more than any other genre- their idols work so hard and they most often actually write and/or produce their own music. I feel like very few American pop artists can say the same now a-days.

This song always gets me so hyped!! Love that Soyeon gave them all a chance to shine, yet even then - her charisma shone through on the chorus. Even just standing there, her stage presence is so powerful! I really think you'd enjoy "Lion"

Lol I found it funny when in the comments some people were offended by what he said that Idle dance is that goood. Just because they rarely perform hard dances doesn't mean they can't, but their concept usually doesn't allow them to do so. That's why there is such a thing as a concept. If a group has a girlcrush-badass type concept continuously, of course their choreography will be hard continuously too. While Idle, they never bring the same concept every time they comeback. Coincidentally, in this comeback they have such a bside, so they have a chance to showcase their abilities that no one has seen yet.

I love how there are callouts to Soojin in this song and in Tomboy (I'm sure everyone here knows, but Soojin was thrown out of the group last year for accusations of bullying in middle school and I think smoking....nuts). There are FIVE diamonds in Soyeon's bag!!!! I miss her, she was (and is) the sexiest woman on the planet.

Soojin is rumoured to have joined Big Planet Made (Home to Viviz :)) I know it is not the same, but I would be so happy for her. The way people felt entitled to point fingers at Soojin without knowing anything or personally knowing her... Knetz need to chill. They need to stop ruinning people's life so easily. @@seooh_ I just recently got into g-idle so I don’t know much, but heard about the accusations a while ago and when I saw there were only 5 members in the video I went online to see if she got fired. Wikipedia is saying that the police did an investigation and determined the claims were true. I don’t quite understand what kind of investigation you can hold to prove bullying from years ago so I don’t know. But if it’s true, then that’s very disappointing. But (unless it was something serious like it led to someone committing s*icide or something) I don’t see how bullying should end a career if it happens before they got their.

Soyeon knows her team, their strengths and weaknesses and she writes each part accordingly and that is her success, Shuhua was getting a lot of negative comments at the start, but Soyeon knew Shuhua, she knew she had what it takes to succeed and look at her now.

I'm a big fan of (G)I-dle's Yuqi (pink hair) She was one of the top ranked students in all of China, then she decided to be a kpop idol and became fluent in Korean and English. Really impressive!

You will love G-Idle even more when you find out that all music and lyrics are made by them. Most of their music is made by Soyeon, but lately on last albums it is also Minnie and Yuqi who made some of their songs. In case of My Bag it's Soyeon who wrote the song and she wrote the lyrics for the reast of the girls to fit their style and show off they rapping skills. Because she can and we all know she's on of the best rappers in K-Pop in my opinion.

Yes they just announced a world tour people!!! Get your ticket money ready!!!!! I've got to see this live! This song is such a flex. She's the best idol rapper and didn't rap on the track only did the hook. But she gave all of her diamonds a verse and the girls slayed it even though they don't rap before. She included Soojin in that diamond count as well 🥺! Yuqi voice is so deep and good on this track it's the blonde girl. But my favorite part is Boss Baby!!! Shuhua killed it!!! Absolutely love this track it's my favorite from the album! Best dancers in my opinion for females as a group have to be Itzy, Dreamcatcher and Loona!

best dancing groups? tbh i don't like saying "best" cause it's my personal opinion but i do keep a playlist of my fav dance practice videos and the groups that show up the most are *NCT* (all units tbh but dream dances are more fun imo), *VERIVERY* (who sadly you haven't checked but they are AMAZING), *Seventeen* (dude...), *Stray Kids* , *Dreamcatcher* , *ASTRO* (another one you haven't checked), *EVERGLOW* (i'm sure they've been recommended to you too), *ATEEZ* and *THE BOYZ* (and one more!)... also "older" groups like *BTS* (their older dance practices specifically are my fav), *INFINITE* and *VIXX* and *GFRIEND*

its scary how dreamcatcher always improved every comeback that they started to have no weakness. you know a group is full of talents when people don't call it 'sua and friends'(cause sua aced on all idol position and even artist position like choreographer producer, and art) same with mamamoo. this 2 group are the most talented when it come to kpop idols

There are a lot of great dancers in K-pop, but one group that always stands out to me personally as very great dancers across the board are Purple Kiss. Not only their dancing though, they're just very talented overall, and they even take part in writing their own music as well. They don't have a bad song imo, but if you want a video that shows a lot of dance specifically I recommend *My Heart Skip a Beat* ; it's a dance performance video and they choreographed it themselves! It was the very first song they released, ahead of their proper debut (unfortunately one of the 7 members couldn't be there) and it's absolutely amazing! PS: I don't want to spoil any specific but I think you'd really like it.

tbh. when it come to dance queen its definitely 'twice' or maybe 'dreamcatcher'.g-idle are not the strongest dancer esp on 4th gen, and they lost their main dancer recently too.. so they're likely to be the weakest.(every group have their own strength its just that dancing is not g-idle strength even back when soojin is still there) on 4th gen its dancing queen definitely crowned for itzy or everglow.

Soyeon is pronounced “Sow-yawn” . Different than Sihyeon.

Friendly correction: It is not "sow". Korean "o" is much sharper than that! More like "ó" :) and same goes for "yeon". Korean o and eo do not sound like the english o. "Soh-yeohn" if that makes sense. The first o is a close o, though... A sound between o and u, but it never sounds like "ow"! (Put your lips as if you were to inflate a ballon) It is hard to explain here, though! English speakers tend to add the "w" sound everywhere... In korean, just get rid of it! That makes a pretty strong accent!

Idle is more known for their rapping and self production. In kpop girl groups, the top dance groups would be Itzy, Loona and Everglow are the ones off the top of my head. I suggest watching Itzy dance practices and live performances so that you will understand why they are the top performers in the 4th gen.

Not really a fan of this song in particular but I am intrigued enough to check out more by them. Lisa will always be my dance queen but I love dance practices no matter who is doing them because choreo 😍 I also appreciate that there are only 5 members. Anymore than that and it's too much to keep track of for me 😂

JYP definitely has some of the best dance groups. You already know Stray Kids and Itzy--you can check out their 2021 MAMA performances for some absolutely jaw-dropping performances. And I gotta give a shout-out to NMIXX, also under JYP, who are a brand-new girl group. They only have 2 songs so far, but the choreo is really creative (for example, the Studio Choom version of O.O). Since you've already reacted to Stray Kids' Thunderous, it's safe for you to check this out. (g)-Idle are amazing dancers, and Blackpink can never be discounted when we're talking about the best dancers, but my favourite is definitely Weeekly. Check out their Cover Dance Medley to understand how good they are. Seriously, even their hair is synchronised when they dance!

Idle are my absolute favorite group, and while I love to see them perform I dont consider them a top dance team. Everglow, Purple Kiss, and Tri.Be are my favorite dancers.

They're amazing dancers, but Gidle is best known for their rap/vocals and self production. I think the groups that really stand out for their dancing and are considered the best are: Seventeen, Loona, Itzy, Ateez, NCT, Gfriend, Chungha (solist) and Taemin (from Shinee, he's considered the best dancer in kpop)

React to group KARD - GUNSHOT, is a mixed group consisting of 2 men and 2 women. Mixed groups aren't very common in kpop, but definitely you have to check out them someday, this group is amazing and every song they make is a BOP 🔥❤
