I love One Ok Rock. They debuted in 2005. They play various genres, from post-hardcore to pop rock. What I like about them is their songs always hit you, there's always a message and inspiration behind it. Taka (vocals) was sick in this particular concert and this song was the last song in the encore. He's really an amazing vocalist, perhaps because his parents are also great singers in Japan too. 😊 This guy is also belting songs like Hello By Adele, that's also available in their official youtube channel. Actually radio stations here in America don’t play any of their music.. it’s really a shame. That’s why their popularity hasn’t really taken off yet here.
Because American radio is not great anymore. They prefer more hip hop (which BTS is very Pop/hip hop feel) rather than rock/heavy metal/alternative music like One OK Rock. At least, they get the many viewers/love from youtubers and others who buy their music.
One OK Rock is AMAZING live. Taka has one of the best voices in the business (and a very good songwriter - he writes most of their songs). Their concerts, in huge stadiums in Japan, are consistently sold out. But true professionals, they perform just as good in small venues when they come to America. I wish they can get the kind of attendance that K-pop group BTS gets whenever they perform in the United States. They were supposed to do a US tour with Linkin Park before Chester passed. That would have done a massive boost to their popularity.
That's too bad about Linkin Park (RIP Chester) another great singer like Taka. They deserve a bigger audience than BTS, if you ask me. They're time will come; I just know it!
Thank you for the reaction. 💕 ONE OK ROCK is widely popular in Asia. Yes this concert is a solo concert. It's hard to get tickets when they have concerts in Japan. Reuqesting for the song "Wasted Nights" in Eye of the Storm tour or "The Beginning" in Eye of the Storm tour also.
Also One Ok Rock is one of the best in Japan. Imagine having more than 300,000 people in just 2 days! Whenever they held concert in Japan, its always one of the best selling tickets coz they can always gather at least 150,000 audience
@@paulitaaldana4650 not here to argue but I think the 300k attendance is for the whole Dome Tour which was held in 8 days in 4 cities in Japan. Even so, that's still a pretty good number. ☺

Welcome to the amazing world of One Ok Rock. They have been together for almost 20 years. There is a great documentary on then on Netflix. And Taka had the flu that night. There is a version of this song, written for the 18. Fez, the song was for the voting age being dropped to 18. 1,000 18 year olds, hand picked by the band. It’s fantastic

One OK Rock has been in the industry for more than a decade. I wouldn't really trust US radio cause it basically just payola. They don't play foreign music unless the artist is really big and they can't fight it anymore so they just join in (*remembers all we had to go through just so they can play BTS songs before they've gotten big*). The internet is the way to go now. Thanks for checking out One Ok Rock. They're really talented and their music is topnotch although I do like their older songs best.
Me subscribing because you reacted to One Ok Rock. This band is really underrated. World should know them. Taka is one of the very few singer that I really admire. One of the best singer. Tomoya, ryota and toru are one of the few greatest performer for being so knowledgeable for a lot of instruments. Gosh daaang. Their live concert are the best. I swear. The message of this song is really powerful. This song saved me a lot of times. Been a fan for over a decade. 🖤
If you haven't yet you should look at the lead singer, taka's younger brother's band My First Story they are such a good band too. The lead (taka's brother) has such a brilliant voice of his own. Id reccomend the songs Reviver, Fukagyaku Replace or Alone.
I would LOVE to see a collaboration between One OK Rock and Babymetal. Can you imagine how epic it could be to have Taka and Su-metal sing along side each other? Gives me chills just thinking about it.

Hey I've seen you comment that they deserve a bigger fanbase than BTS, like don't get me wrong ONE OK ROCK are freaking fire(!!!) but did you ever listen to BTS (exept for their english songs btw) or know anything about their story? Because they went through a hella lot before they became what they are today and are very versatile in their sound having many songs (230+) in many different genres... what I want to say... They are really worthy to check out. Other Kpop as well! If you like Rock and Rap I could give you a whole lot. BTS come from HipHop roots btw so a lot of their older stuff is very much Hip Hop but they still have it today. I would go for "Run BTS" by BTS (not "Run" by BTS) there is no MV but you can watch the color coded lyrics version to read englisch subs. As for Rock in general I would tell you to check out J-Hope one of the members of BTS who just performed at Lalopalloza with his solo Mixtape, solo Album and some BTS songs. I would watch either the Lola Version or MV of "Arson" and "More" to get to know Jhopes "new" Style. As other bands that you would probably like I would say Enhypen, Straykids and Ateez For those always two to check out Drunk-Dazed, Future Mic, Gods Menu, Maniac, Wonderland and Gurilla.
