"Every single member of this band brings something original and amazing to the table" Imagine when they learn there are precisely two members, the singer and the drummer.
Jon, your reactions and energy, as well as ear and analysis are really enjoyable and on point ! Discovering you with this reaction video, i might come back for the vibe ! Cheers Dolly for your good taste in men ! ;D
His drumming in this song isn't even his full power lol check out their other stuff and you'll see just how masterful he is at it. The lead singer, Vessel, does the piano. If you wanna see vessel shine listen to their song Bloodsport (from the room below) its the most beautiful song And yes, interestingly enough it has been suspected that they're all masterclass musicians because even music teachers that can pick up on the little nuances of talent they trickle in in many different forms do say that it's at that level of play.
This is one of the few bands where I was positively confused when listening. I was expecting something else from a purely visual point of view and especially with this song I was constantly "what? That now, too?" Whoever is behind them is damn creative.
@@ddodarell Don't always believe Apple credits. Vessel & II are the founders and primary songwriters, But George Lever played bass guitar & produced the "One" and "Two" EPs. III has been with them since 2017 and has worked on Sundowning & TPWBYT. The current IV has been with them since last year. 😉
Hi guys this is amazing great reaction a young gentleman taking RU-vid by storm is ren -hi ren this video has had 3 million views in 2 weeks and it is pure genius worth a look many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
There is something very fascinating watching women's reaction to this song. Me as a man cannot appreciate the seductive and extremely passionate/emotional way he is singing these particular lyrics which are about desire towards a woman. This is a song only a woman can truly appreciate I guess.
It's very good, don't get me wrong, but it's not as unique as everyone is saying. It sounds like VOLA, Leprous and TesseracT with Hozier on vocals. Great sound, no doubt, but it's not the second coming of Christ. Just pisses me off when something is presented as "a brand new sound!" when it's clearly a cumulation of pre-established music just put together in a different way. Still, though, psyched that a metal band is getting a lot of mainstream popularity regardless.
Right ? Exactly, I mean split the parts and take them at face value against same genre and it's good but nothing godly. Yes, the composition is well done, but it's nothing completely original besides Vessel's voice. Drumming is amazing but stack II against great drummers in the metal scene (duplantiers, etc) and I mean, let's be realistic. And another thing is that there is this trend of classifying everything they do as masterpieces. I mean, from the 4 tracks that came out, this one and Chokehold standout but the other 2 aren't masterpieces, good songs yes but definitely not masterpieces.
@@jjoao32 Hate to be that guy, but isn’t that all music nowadays? I mean that new Falling in Reverse song is pretty much the same formula wise. Seems like everyone is doing the genre mashups nowadays but I do think it’s genuine with Sleep Token. I mean he was doing an Outkast acoustic cover years ago lol
