Can we just appreciate how almost impossible it is to do what Tom did underwater? He wasn’t just mouthing the words he was mouthing them fluently and precisely!! And the screaming scene...OMG!!!🔥🔥🤘🤘🌟🌟🏆🏆 he is so incredible!! FYI normally a beat from Eminem would run between 250 and 500k So Tom got it for less than half price by purchasing it through an auction that also went to CHARITIES, by the way, I don’t know which ones though, Which is also an automatic tax deduction😂 He more than doubled his money overnight after it dropped so to say he is a marketing genius like he said “No Response” is the most true thing ever

It's a continuation of Stan, as if he survived the car crash. That's why he was rapping underwater, as well. The beat is actually called Stan's Revenge. 🤯

The car in the “Dear Slim” video was an exact replica of the car from Eminem’s video “Stan”!! Tom bought it, sanded it down, and painted it!! He didn’t PAY to have it done, he did it HIMSELF!! Freaking outstanding!! The underwater scenes were filmed in his pool and him and Nova BUILT “Stans” room for #DearSlim!! #KingOfTheGrind!! #HangoverGangForever🔥🔥🤘🤘🌟🌟🏆🏆 Tom said that him and one of his buddies set up a water flow system inside the car for continuously flowing water to pour down it like it was freshly pulled out of the river! Also, peep the seaweed and the #HOG and #DearSlim spray painted on the door! There’s also a sega genesis, a 90s stereo and speakers with a bunch of other nostalgic items from the “Stan” time frame! To quote Tom from “No Response“, he’s a marketing genius and the definition of a creator and an entertainer!!

I am extremely picky about the rappers I enjoy. Yep love music for the lyrics, so rap has never been my preferred genre. That being said, Eminem, Tupac, and Biggie have always been my gold standard. I love that he is paying homage to Eminem this way and damn does he know how to word craft. Well done Sir!

Tom is another breed of artist. He doesn't glorify drugs, wasting money,fast cars not does he refer to women as bitchs or hoes. That was the reason I stopped listening to rap years ago. It's like they were encouraging the youth to be doing things to get in trouble or to keep them in the bad areas. No positivity,all negative. I even went to listening to music in other languages that I didn't know. Then I heard "Snowflakes" and that was what made me a Tom fan. I never thought I would still be knocking pictures off people's wall when I roll by but I am now! I found Ryan Upchurch as well and I really enjoy listening to both these guys. They both rock hard and they are independent, that makes a difference.

It's best to go through his catalog chronologically because his songs often times play off previous ones. After Dear Rappers you have: Castles Helluvit White Boy This House (this is most HOG's top 5 or better - a response to the negativity he got from WhiteBoy song). Each one of these is completely different from the other. You really see a wide spectrum of his talent - even early on.

Before this part of his life, Tom was a pro wrestler. He also worked oil rig, construction, and other jobs. He did a lot of small gigs before he got to the point when inspiration set him on fast forward. Definitely you should go back through his community page.
