I saw Jinjer my first time at 51 - 3 years ago and I had the most fun in a mosh pit ever! Then I saw them 2 more times since. I grew up on Maiden, thrash, groove, et al. Jinjer is amazing after a lifetime of various metal bands. There are always places to hang at shows that aren't the pit, just sayin'... See this band, you won't regret it 🤘
If you get the chance to see them, DO IT! Jinjer in person is amazing, especially on a headlining tour where most of the crowd is there for them. I'm younger than you, but still way past my mosh pit days and have never felt unsafe at any concert even with bands heavier than Jinjer. I've seen people get hurt, but if you stay to the back or sides of the crowd away from the pit it's fine.
You're a little scared I assure you go,just go. I am 57 and i am still alive after seeing them live they are the best when they are live. There were other bands that night and the fans for these bands obviously didn't know about jinjer and you could just see that they couldn't believe their ears. Go and enjoy you will not regret.
I have been really enjoying your Jinjer journey! I would suggest checking out The Warning, very different from Jinjer but an awesome rabbit hole to fall into. The Warning, along with Jinjer have saved music for this old metalhead!
