The "older country fans" who are stuck on just the old country sound should stay with it. I am 76 and was raised on a lot of the old vountry artists who have passed on. They were great in their times - great enough in that some of today's artists are doing covers of their music. But music has to evolve with the times and the up-coming generations as they pish the limits of "today's country music" and try to make it relavent to today's lives. I'm enjoying the hell out of some like Shaboozy and just not listening to what i don 't like.
This is acceptable. I have a Roommate confession...my cousin was Porter Wagoner, so I was raised on Country & Western (old school) so for that reason, I am a metal head...I DO NOT listen to country music. But this is acceptable.
Can you please check out the band Asking Alexandria with a few of their oldest songs…… Pick one of their oldest songs. They are older ones and heavy too. Please…. Asking Alexandria “A Prophecy” “Closure” “To the Stage” “Breathless”
I watch each and every reaction video of yours very carefully, and download the one that you like the most, you should keep my requests as such. React to Decibel Outdoor 2022's Sunday Endshow, I hope it's Saturday Endshow's You will have a much better experience.
I mean I’m not even a fan of country music but I of course could see why country music fans might be getting mad/annoyed once this new crowd who’re country fans and are just jumping on the bandwagons of Beyoncé sing and this song, then claiming “this is the new country music”… lol I love this song but that’s incredibly ignorant for people (aka non-country fans to say). I’m sure hip-hop fans would get just annoyed if say… Taylor Swift made a hip-hop song and then suddenly all these T.Swift/pop music fans started claiming “this is gonna be the new/modern style of hiphop”. Rock/metal fans would too if it happened to rock after Beyoncé made a rock/metal song. You can branch into a new genre of music and even potentially make a new sub-genre of said music while also still respecting it/it’s fans. Lol I know if I was a life long country fan, I’d probably get annoyed. (Even though again… I absolutely love this song and would love to hear more stuff like it)
