i love beach camping! I have been traveling alone for 20 years! and i do a DIY (Do It Yourself) travel around South East Asia going to less crowded and less commercial places as much as possible, riding on local transportation. it is more personal and immersing. I get to meet lots of friends both local and foreign along the way 😊 one thing i learned on multiple weeks and months of travel is bring quick dry clothing and underwear. it is compact, fast drying and light. after 3 to 4 days, hand washing your clothes and underwear is in order, so having lightweight quick dry clothing and underwear helps a lot. a lightweight, compact packable rain jacket for sudden rains (even during summer), a lightweight fleece jacket (for sudden high elevation places and when it gets cold. ex: Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands and Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia) and a foldable bush or boonie hat for all around face/neck sun protection. having sun lotion and anti mosquito lotion in tropical countries. enjoy solo travel and stay safe!
