@@funsizedi88 I think they changed the colours/formula so it isn't an issue anymore. I feel you, CT is so expensive! Lovely packaging but we don't all have a dollar tree🤣
@@zzzizouit No, more warm is not exactly orange. It depends if how you want to use this product: as a brightener under your foundation, as a highlight or on it's own. It is a light coverage with a glowy/dewy finish. Maybe you can swatch it before buying. It's always dissapointing if a product isn't what you expect or the shade is wrong. Hope you find a sample😊
The Charlotte tilbury product is magic. Like I can’t believe I haven’t used it before. It makes you glow from within and takes your makeup to looking like a million bucks
The left side is more yellow toned than the right side. It’s a slight difference depending on the way the light hits your face when you turned your head back and forth.
The CT flawless emphasizes the pores a bit more, even on other videos I see the same thing. Better of with the $5-7 elf products they work so well for me and they’re affordable!
What I've noticed with the Elf Halo Glow is that the consistency is not the same among all of them. The lighter shades are thick and look cakey on my skin. The darker shades blend out nicer and thinner. I still mix them with my Kevin Aucoin skin tint because it's so light and natural. I wonder if the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter is better in lighter shades than Elf. I'm lighter in the winter but use the darker Elf shade in the summer.
I haven’t tried the charlotte tilbury, but I’ve tried the elf one and I love it! My skin type is dry , especially with this cold weather my skin is like sand paper ☠️ I don’t use any primer under it. I just moisturize and then slap it on on top of my normal make up and I would say it lasts me a good 8+ hours! I do use elf’s setting spray. it’s the one in a black container and I love it! Also not sure if this would mean anything to you, but my skin is fair and cool tone. I know most of their shades are yellow toned but they came out with two new fair tones that are more peachy than yellowy. So I’m hoping they are expanding their shade range a bit because I won’t lie, the first tester I tried was way too yellowy for my skin type. All in all I would highly recommend this to someone who likes dewy makeup.
Can u read ingredients and see are they a true dupe I keep hearing everyone say they are the same so I'm so curious but I will never have the $ to own the "Charlotte" one
I’m fair skinned as well and elf came out with two new fair shades, exact same fair shade but with different undertones. My shade is the lightest one, and I personally love the elf one! But I do agree the first shades they came out with are very yellow. I’m not sure why they waited to come out with shades with different under tones.
Girls, I apologize for my delay in making up. Is it permissible to use Shalott Tilbury under the eyes, and do I have to wear concealer, because I do not wear clear concealer and do not know the basis of makeup?
If you apply foundation in upward strokes it causes all of your vellus hairs to stand on end. It will make your face look fuzzy and not very attractive. Also, with the direction of our pores and the desquamation process, using upward strokes causes the the brush hairs to miss applying foundation in the pores and can cause any shedding skin to stick up. Dermaplaning could help with these things but not cure them completely. So, there's a reason why it's said to either apply foundation in downward strokes or in a stippling motion.
They aren’t even close to the same. The left is pulling oranges and the right is way more shimmery and the correct shade. It’s far superior on Charlotte.
