Roti John is main dish in Ramadan. Every Ramadan Bazar must have at least a stall of roti john, mostly in a bazar, will find more than one, even got 10 stalls.

Burger ramly and roti john area two different food. And for sure Malaysians will get those two as their favorite because the food have their own unique taste. Next i suggest you to try Hameediyah Nasi kandar in Ampang, and make sure got ayam bawang, rice with kuah campur

Bravo..U choose the best place to try Roti John.I always have problem choosing between Ramly Burger or Roti John..In order not to hurt the other feelings..I always make sacrifice & opt for BOTH. 😁😄

I still prefer Ramly Burger .. maybe next time you should try Oblong either daging/ayam or kambing.. The taste quite peppery compared to normal Ramly...should ask the Ramly stall first sometimes they dont have on the menu...cheers 🙌😁

I think you haven't tried satay yet. Maybe you can head down to Kajang to try some satay. Satay basically is meat skewers, grilled over charcoal fire to give that smokiness. The usual meat used are chicken, beef, mutton/lamb, tripes, liver, rabbit, venison and others and marinated with a mix of turmeric and lemongrass spices. Try the different meat options for different textures and flavours. While eating satay on its own is nice, it usually comes with a serving of peanut gravy, "ketupat" (compressed rice cakes), cucumber and onion slices. You can dip the skewers into the peanut gravy for additional layer of flavour. And then use the same skewer to "stab" the rice cakes and dip into the peanut sauce. The cucumber and onions give some freshnesss to the whole experience. You can take the MRT to Stadium Kajang station where there's few satay stalls nearby the station.

i don't know how long you've been in Malaysia... but i think you should try malaysia fried rice... NASI GORENG PETAYA.. NASI GORENG PAPRIK.. NASI GORENG CENDAWAN.. NASI GORENG KAMPONG.. NASI GORENG IKAN MASIN.. NASI GORENG CINA.. NASI GORENG USA.. NASI GORENG SEAFOOD... many more that i forgot all the name.. but trust me.. all this will make you day... noodles... such as.. KUE TEOW GORENG.. MEE HOON GORENG.. MEE HAILAM.. MEE KERANG.. MEE MAMAK ..MEE KARI.. MEE BANDUNG.. LAKSA (LAKSA HAS MANY VERITY.. LAKSA ASAM.. LAKSA PENANG.. LAKSA JOHOR.. BUT LATE ANTHONY BOURDAIN RECOMMEND AND ONE HIS FAVORITE UNTIL HE CALL BREAKFAST OF GOD .
