What’s really fun is to hear the clang clang clang of coins dropping, and then, they have to come over and refill it with coins because you emptied it.. 😊
One of my favorite casinos. The El Cortez. Went there in my twenties with my Mom, dad, and relatives at Christmas time in the early 90’s. Good times. I need to visit there again. Thanks for the memories. 😊
That was cool 😎 old school I remember those good old machines they were fun I played them in New Orleans where I’m from I now live in Texas love ❤ya videos
Remembering when i won 80 $5.00 tokens at Harrah A.C. Walked around shaking those coins & people looked at them asking what they were. When Borgota came in all TITO, around 2003, everyone had to do the same to keeptheir costs in line. Fun times. Thanks for posting.
What's really fun is when you start playing regular again... We miss those times, but I wish you luck no matter how you play 😊, ok I was wrong , it was fun watching you play the coin slots... 😊
Nice variety of slots played on Freemont OS. I guess you had to wash your hands after collecting all those coins you put in the bucket. I remember that too well, lol. Lucky Top Dollar was feeling a little generous today! Cheers! 😘🍀🍀🍀🌹
Stefan, my wife and I always frequent the El Cortez on Fremont Street. It’s the oldest Casino in Las Vegas. The restaurant at the El Cortex is excellent! They have a great corned beef sandwich. The first time I visited the El Cortez, I signed up for a Player’s Card and won a $1500.00 Hand pay Jackpot on an Old School single line 5 times machine! The only drawback is that the El Cortez does not have a pool. Also try The Golden Nugget and The Four Queens. Lots of Old School slots!
I collected many of those Silver Strike coins over the years when I used to frequent Vegas. Still have them. Many of them feature famous hotel casinos from the past!!
I miss the old coin slots. Last time I played them was at Slots of Fun about 20 years ago. I hope you enjoyed Fremont Street. That’s my favorite area of Vegas
*** I was at the El Cortez all week and checked out Tuesday. I'm so sorry to have missed you !!! Absolutely love the El Cortez. It's always my home base when in Vegas !!! Finished off at South Point, Which is owned my Micheal Gaughan, the son of Jackie Gaughan, who owned the El Cortez. Ol' School Vegas at it's best. I reached out to you on FB, but didn't hear back. Great crew there !!! KEEP IT UP. Love the old school slots!
so cool to see you playing those veryyy old machines!the first time i played on thoses machines with coins it was in 2009 in a little casino in south france, now they does not exist anymore in all France casino's
“Those bring back some old Childhood Memories”. “I had to be around 15-years old, and I was on a cruise with my family and friends”. “Back then sometimes near the entrances and exits of the casino’s they would post up a few slot machines there. Being 15-Year’s Old and not of age to go into the casinos and play, most of the Slot-Machine’s were technically not in the casino, but lingering outside like an End-Cap in a grocery store”. “So we would gather up some quarters, every now and then, and a couple of us would walk up to the slot machines swiftly and throw a bunch of quarters in. While the rest of us would stay on lookout”. “The plan was not to get rich, it was just a win a few Roll’s of $20 in Quarter’s. So that way, we could take all the Quarter’s and run to the arcade and play for hours end”. Lot’s-of-Fun‼️
Goes to show there's no substitute for actual tokens klinking and clanking. The tokens, the coin buckets--true old-school slot action! 😁 Hopefully the Fremont Hotel & Casino will allow you to film pit game action there--they still deal their double deck Blackjack game as a pitch game as do all other Boyd Gaming properties.
Omg that sure bring back memories. Use to play nickel machines in vegas in the 70's. I was only in my teens and got free drinks. Good old times 😂I got 10 of those coins. They will give u 10.00 if u don't want them. Really enjoyed watching this video. I worked at Binion's back in the day. It was the horseshoe. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful WinsDay. ❤☘🥰☘❤
Ahhhh... Fremont Street. Used to trek up there to spend a day on my then frequent trips to Vegas. Seems a lot of older machines found their way there and it was a lot of fun playing them. Managed a small collection of 40 or so silver strikes as well. A number of them are from long gone casinos like the Sands, Sahara and such. Really should have them appraised some day, as I recall a few were considered rare and worth a nice premium. Thanks for some memories.
I really enjoyed watching this video, it was something different with the coin play. That was neat. Love your videos, I watch you spin every day! I still remember most of your big wins, like the Titanic!.Hope you keep winning big and having fun at it.
At the Las Vegas airport as my friends and I were leaving I played a slot and won three 0.999 silver tokens, with nice designs of cards, roulette, and slots on them I still have them.
In Cripple Creek, Johnny Nolan's and the Colorado Grande also have some coin-operated slots at the quarter, $1, and $5 levels. Central City has a few casinos with coin-op machines too.
I remember getting $100 worth of quarter tokens and playing them. After playing through closing the session and putting the coins into the bucket and getting a new stack of $100 in quarter tokens
The Wild Thing game’s font and sounds remind me of Chainsaws and Toasters. Not sure if the still do but I’m 2021 circus circus had coin machines. They were quarter machines and it was loud in there.
I have not even played the new slots that only take folding money or tickets. All the slots I have ever played were coin or token slots. Since I have not played since Katrina hurricane hit Biloxi, MS. I still have a Caeser's Palace one dollar token for when I played in a national chess tournament in Las Vegas that was at Bally's
Yeah only bout 7-8 years ago if you had some good pays the tray at the bottom would be overflowing with $1 coins. Would have to start getting cups aand scooping and stacking until the machine would run out, then theyd come over with the old oil bottle and funnel and keep pouring more dollars in. Not as dirty as the 10 and 20 cent machines-black hands.
Last time I fed coins ìnto a machine it was in the Dubuque Iowa riverboat. I was playing $5 tokens and filled 9 $500 trays on a 🔥 HOT Triple Stars machine. They shut off the machine on me !!!!
I know your hands got dirty playing with tokens, but I won a lot more money back when that’s the way it was done. I know it’s not supposed to make a difference, but it sure does make ya wonder.
Your bankroll always lasted longer having to drop coins in, and you could claim it as a work out day by carrying the buckets to the cage....dont miss the dirty fingers afterwards though
