First Time Watching * Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls * Jim Carrey Never Dissapoints! 

Fun fact: When filming the drive thru the trees, Jim Carrey forgot his lines so he started singing "chitty-chitty-bang-bang" the director thought it was hilarious so he kept it in and the look of confusion on Greenwald's face was genuinely a "Wtf is going on?"

This movie is so good it’s basically a national treasure at this point 😂 One of my all time favorites from Jim

His fear of bats is even funnier when you realize Jim Carrey also played the Riddler in a Batman movie 😆

"Did you just refer to me as white devil?" 👿 😁 "This is how they know you..." Ouda is my favorite part of the movie (fake rhino a very close second 🤣🤣🤣). He delivers every line with such joy.

If you haven't seen "Liar, Liar" already, that's another Jim Carrey classic. Might be my favorite. That was one of the first DVD's I ever owned.

I know sequels - especially comedy sequels - get a bad rap, but if this one came out before the original it would have been considered the better one. The scene of Ace excaping out of the rhino is one of the funniest scenes of all time, imo.

The first entire scene is a spoof of Cliffhanger with Silvester Stallone. Recommended. I love this movie. I watch it every now and then also the first one, many times a year.

The rhino part always leaves me in hysterics.

The Wachootoo warrior that Ace fought (Tommy Davidson) was in a hilarious movie with Jamie Foxx, Vivica A. Fox and Tamala Jones titled Booty Call. That movie is underrated and funny as Hell!

So at 35 I have 2 hardcore memories from going to the movies with my father. Seeing Jurassic Park 4 times in the first weekend it came out, and this movie. The projection scene is one of my favorites - the sound effects for um..spitting out the nuts is just hysterical and of course the Rhino scene had me, my father and the entire audience in stitches. I will never forget it and would pay good money for an "audience reaction" from back then to it. I mean it boarders the going to long but man is it one of his best bits ever. The sequel is strong in both story, jokes, and overall execution but also not spoken about enough - they went ham on the soundtrack to the films benefit and it really does help it out ;) Cape Cod, MA ISN'T THIS INCREDIBLE?! ITS GOTTA BE SOME KIND OF RECORD!!!!!!

i still mostly quote this movie and Monty Python almost daily its my favorite of the Ace Ventura movies.

When I was a kid I just loved all of the antics. As an adult I love the same stuff, but it is paired with the hilarious knowledge that Ace is actually a genius and he behaves like that.

I think Jim Carrey was Tupac's favorite actor and Jim used to write him humorous letters when he was in jail. Also Jim's movie "The Truman Show" was the inspiration for the concept of Eminem's "The Eminem Show" because he felt like everyone was watching him.

Ive always loved this movie, i had a middle school teacher that thought the cave scene in this movie was the most hilarious thing in the world 🤣🤣🤣

20:20 Bob Gunton played Warden Norton in *Shawshank* so we all (I saw it in theater on opening day) expected typecasting and were sure he had to be the villain. Ace even mentions *Shawshank* during his play around with the holy name of Shikaka. Nobody thought this twist would be a real twist.

15:14 At a glance it seems insulting but earlier we learned the tribe see spit as a symol of respect, so it is actually honoring the initiate to shoot spit wads at him like this.

The only thing I remember about this movie was my parents took me to the movies to see it and I burst out crying cause the raccoon fell. My mom did not expect that 😂

The Ace Ventura series with Jim Carrey is such a classic set of movies. I love them so much. One of my favorite Ben Stiller films is The Cable Guy and Jim Carrey plays the antagonist in that film. You should check it out some time, it's an interesting dark comedy.

I still have my tickets stubs from this movie and other Jim Carrey movies that I watched (and many others). I have loved this man since I was a kid. And it blows me how nowadays Hollywood &general audiences pretend that he was always so beloved, when it really is not true. Older audiences and the general public did NOT support Jim at all at first, even Jim said once that, it was In Living Color and The Wayans Brothers, that gave him a chance and it was my generation, the younger millennials, who really supported his work. I clearly remember majority of adults around me always shitting on him, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers etc. So its seriously really strange to me how everyone just pretends and forgot that these men were disrespected heavily when they first came on the scene because their comedy was misunderstood, underappreciated and seen as simple stupid slap-stick films yet now they're "classics" to everyone. It just shows what time will do and how ahead of their time these men were. Just my 2cents and a bit of history on this kind of comedy films.☺️ There's still more Jim Carrey to watch Leo! Looking forward to more reactions!✌️💜

I raise rabbits for meat. I tan the hides and make dog treats out of the ears so that I use as much of the animal as I am able. My personal view on taxidermy in general is this. If you are hunting for the meat and to control the population, then you may as well use the hides, it's just wasteful not to. But, if you are hunting just for the trophy and don't intend to eat the meat and just take the skins and antlers, you just wasted the animal and that's something to be ashamed of.

I remember watching this as a little kid. I didn't own the movie, so I often thought about my favorite scenes for years, as I badly wanted to rewatch it.. Such as being inside that fake rhino, and him driving that awesome monster truck and throwing that car lighter into that guy's lap.

I thought that too when I was younger and didn't catch it, but the bowl/pottery was made from guano, not the fruit paste, the stuff he was eating, just plate/bowls are baked/hardened guano, at least I assume they bake them.

The opening scene is a parody from Sylvester’s Stallones Cliffhanger movie.

The opening scene where the racoon falls from the zipline is a spoof on the movie "Cliffhanger" with Sylvester Stallone. In the opening of that movie it's the same scene but instead of a raccoon falling it's a person.

When I watched this movie as a kid, I cracked up for hours when Ace held that guy over and said, _"Do not pass go. Do not collect $200."_ I still do to this day! 🤣 Also at 18:16, it appears that Ace just follows what's known as "The Law of The Jungle." (Kill only to eat.)

The reverse scene will always be my favorite Ace moment.

I recommend The Change Up. It has Ryan Reynolds and Leslie Mann ( the sister from Knocked Up ) and Jason Bateman. It is so funny!!!! One of my favorites!
