I agree Adassa (Dolores) murders her part in this song, followed by Rhenzy Feliz who voices Camilo, the one who is shape shifting. Bruno doesn't sing, that's Camilo. I love how strong his voice comes in after her part. Great tune!

I know We Don't Talk About Bruno is an AMAZING song, but I really wish people would recommend watching The Family Madrigal first more often, it gives a lot of context to what kind of world the movie takes place in and it's ALSO a very good song

Yes an amazing scene, and such a fantastic movie - please watch!!!! Also not to spoil anything but that’s not actually Bruno singing in that scene - you’ll have to watch to understand why the character is shapeshifting 😊

also just. can we talk about the insane audio in this? the audio panning that follows the characters on screen, and all the sound effects layered in. it truly elevates the song and makes it all so much more magical! then there's all the different musical styles throughout the song and lastly the voices! they're so varied and they all sound amazing! they all really fit the characters, too, giving you an idea of their personality.

WAIT! Even though I've heard the song so many times I just realize that in the part where they all sing together around Miral even Camilo changes his sound. I've noticed Isabella's "I'm Fine" and also Dolores change before, but I just noticed Camilo's, it sounds nice~ It's in the "Yeah he sees your dreams and feasts on your screams" Cool!

This song was my introduction to 'Encanto' when I came across it on RU-vid. I finally saw the movie last week when I got my DVD. I trust you've seen the film by now, and seen that this song is classic misdirection. Lin-Manuel Miranda has given us a wonderful musical pun with this song. The 'madrigal' is a Renaissance song-form comprised of several unaccompanied melodies that are first sung separately, but blend perfectly when sung together. That's what Mr. Miranda did in the second half of the song. And what is the family's name? Madrigal!!

This songs is INCREDIBLE. The ending medley is so killer. You should react to Surface Pressure from the movie, it’s also amazing. Love your thoughts on Bruno ;) Dolores (red bow) is voiced by….Adassa, I think is her name?

Great reaction :) In case you are interested in reacting to the rest of the songs in the order they are given in the movie, it is: 1. The Family Madrigal 2. Waiting for a Miracle 3. Surface Pressure 4. We don't talk about Bruno 5. What Else can I do 6. All of You 7. Dos Oruguitas The main ones I'd recommend reacting to are The Family Madrigal, Surface Pressure, and What Else can I do. The others are good songs but they require a bit more understanding of the plot to get their full impact.

It's even better in context in the movie. (It is weird that the sound mix is different in the movie than on the soundtrack album though. The vocals are much clearer on the album.)

You should react to 'surface pressure' from this movie. It's none soiler-e. And the character that sings it, has super strength. Bruno is the main character's uncle, and has the power to tell prophecies. But it's a mystery in the film if he makes the prophecies or he just sees them. We are told at some point which one is the case, but I won't give spoilers. All the family numbers have powers except the main character, but she is the one who must save her family. As stated in the film description.💜

That's not Bruno, it's everyone's interpretation of him. Camilo is the shape shifting cousin of Mirabel telling what he knows of Bruno but he is actually teasing Mirabel like the typical teen making up hilarious "horror stories ". He is the same age as Mirabel so he was only about 5 years old when she did not get her door/gift. He got his gift before Mirabel was to get hers.

Before you watch the movie, please react to Encanto's "Surface Pressure", and possibly "Family Madrigal". Don't watch "Dos Aruguitos" before seeing the movie, big spoilers in that. Some folks might suggest you also watch "What Else Can I Do" but I kinda feel it's a bit spoilery. Alternatively, watch the whole film while making sure to give yourself plenty of time to record full reactions of each song as you encounter it.
