FIRST TIME WATCHING Friends - Season 2 Episode 24 TV Series "The One with Barry and Mindy's Wedding" 

I just need to say that I find Monica's way of thinking incredibly mature and selfless. She found someone she loved and that loved her, her and Richard were a great couple and they had something great going on but despite everything, she made the decision to end things because even if Richard said he would have children with her "if he had to", he was practically offering her everything she wanted but she didn't want to force him just for her own happiness. I don't know, I feel like that says a lot about her, she's a really great but underrated and misunderstood character.

If you drew a combination of Pheobe and Monica she would even look a lot like Tanya! You guys are so cute!

Rachel and Ross pretty much the center of the show from the get go. Personally I think Rachel is a great character and Jennifer Aniston as Rachel is cherry on top casting.

I love hearing stories about how couples met and how easy it would have been to miss each other by just a bit, wrong place wrong time, but luckily it was at the right place and right time. Man you really will love How I Met Your Mother!!!

I relate more to Monica. That's why she's my favorite. Some people think she's annoying but for me she's the best.

Funny thing is Janice walks in to Central Perk café, where the entire Friends gang is hanging out like 75% of their time and is totally suprised to see Chandler there by "their" table.. what a huge surprise that he would be in that exact café! 😂

I watched this show as it aired (born in 83). I actually loved Rachel because Jennifer Aniston was in the horror classic THE LEPRECHAUN. I loved that film as a kid. So naturally I loved Rachel. She was one of my straight to VHS Scream Queens!

I don’t particularly like Rachel but I always feel like she gets too much criticism, some of her actions are really not that bad and mist of the times you can understand her motives behind it, yet there are a few things that other characters (especially Ross) did that are wayyyy worse and they get away with it

I think the reason people love Rachel is because of Jennifer Aniston. I think despite it being an ensemble cast it's pretty clear JA was almost from the very beginning the most famous of the 6. I think it started out as Courtney because of her role on Family Ties but there was something about Jen that people really loved. Maybe it's that girl next door quality she seemed to have? In the beginning I didn't like her that much because I thought she seemed kind of arrogant but today I really like her a lot. She just seems like a fun person to hang out with and you pretty much never hear anything about her that's bad.

Expanding more on what Tanya said, once you see her entire arc throughout the show you will end up I'm sure admiring Rachel at least to some extent, because yes; it's the point that she starts out selfish and self-centered and a little superficial, but that's because she was raised to be that way, then she had the courage, as Tanya said, to go out on her own and learn how to live like other people, and she not only adjusted, but then she really made something of herself... and it shows a lot of guts and gumption, and that's admirable. Later on they compare her to other people in her family, and it shows how much she's grown, so yes though she's not somebody in the beginning that I would wish to be in my friend group, and a lot of times I found her v. annoying, by the end I admire her. I'd be interested to see, Dillon, where you go with your thoughts about her as the series progresses, because her growth arc is one of the largest, with the exception of perhaps Chandler.

With the best will in the world, your husband is not halfway between Ross and Chandler. He's halfway between Joey and Chandler. I see no Ross there at all.
