Oh btw, Mothra can technically revive herself. Every time she dies, her memories are passed on to her offspring that hatch from her eggs. So basically as long as she lays eggs and they hatch, she never really dies. It’s one of the reasons why she is the queen of the monsters

47:06 what’s incredible is that Godzilla was surprisingly able to fight in zero gravity so well, he really can adapt to new environments so quickly which is one of the reasons why he’s lived for millions of years “Adapt and Evolve”
I like that most of the other titans were confused or flailing around but Godzilla didn't even question it, he just adapted to it very quickly, said "fuck it we ball" and fucked up the monkeys

i got in the first theatre in all of the UK to get into it and every single person was just like YEAH COME ON GET HIM, UPPERCUT with Suko (thats his actual name)
I love Godzilla is kind of "yelling" at the helicopter because you can tell he's using a light roar, so he's not being aggressive about it, he doesn't kill them but he is telling them "Move it, fuck off"

Fun fact: Tiamat(the dragon snake titan in the artic) and Scylla(the giant squid crab titan that Godzilla founght in the beginning of the film) had appeared before in the prequel comics of the movies called Godzilla Dominion (a prequel comic to Godzilla vs Kong) and Godzilla X Kong the Hunted(the prequel comic to This movie).

You are right on Godzilla sensing them. After Mothra saved him in KotM he gained some of her abilities (the pulse and senses). He can basically sense any titans around the world if he focuses on it, and even more than that if he's in certain locations.
Now Kong is KING Kong. And Shimo is straight up adorable once she was freed. Just look at that sweet face she makes when watching Godzilla's magenta atomic breath being blasted into the sky. She's like "how beautiful!" I love this movie..

He ruled over every living thing there and helped animals that needed it. He does the same in his new home now, he may not of had apes to rule over but he still ruled over the rest, he's good king and proved that even more in new movie. Isn't Godzilla guardian to nature and a king too.
While minus one is definitely my favourite movie ever, this is definitely my favourite of THIS series. The action, the characters, the music, the visuals. Everything is absolutely amazing.

I hella hate minus one. Not enough action for me which is what I look for in movies. There was action in minus one but it wasn’t very hype until the nuclear explosion but that was it for me

Its defenetly strongest as an all around fighter, but The Thermo Godzilla from the second movie is just so Overpowered, I dont think anyone can beat it yet

In this form he can have 20x the energy as last time and he can control thermo form at will. Which he was doing when he went in the water before visiting tiamet. + blue thermo form >> red thermo form and pink is >> blue.
Thermonuclear is his strongest form. His body is constantly ungoing nuclear fusion, the process used in Hydrogen/Thermonuclear bombs and even *literal stars.* Thermonuclear > Evolved > Hypercharged

For context: The name of the crab-squid Titan is Scylla and though she submitted to Godzilla's rule at the end of "Kingnof the Monsters", she's classified as one of the malevolent Titans and the least loyal to Godzilla. She has attacked human settlements twice before and actively challenged Godzilla, with both times met with him smacking her down and getting her to back off. What she did in Rome was her third attempt, and Godzilla made sure it was her last since he lost patience with her. The leviathan-like one is called Tiamat, another malevolent Titan, who has fought Godzilla before when he claimed one of her lairs as his resting place. She's known for luring in Titans and humans by her calls (she can mimic others) and then killing them, with her nest in the Arctic home to various skulls of all her victims. It's implied that Godzilla gave her a warning shot to let her borrow her lair, but when Tiamat challenged him instead, that was it (this and the other implication that she was going to be dangerous later with her supercharging using the sun's radiarion energy). Also yes. This version of Godzilla is notable for having even more of a severe anger management issues unlike other versions, and Mothra is the only one who can knock him on ass and get him to calm down and listen (essentially like a gentle wife to her stubborn husband).

Fun Fact : The Freezing Monster (Shimo) , was the one who started the ice age , she did that when she - alongside Godzilla - fought Ghidorah , and was also the reason he was frozen in King Of The Monsters.

Btw, In Kong Skull Island Kong was about as big as the baby gorilla in this movie He didn't feel like it but he really was just a baby back then, he's grown a LOT bigger since then
This is currently the most succesful Monsterverse film, even surpassing G 2014's 530 million's worldwide box office. The fact that the Monsterverse is still going strong makes me so happy and excited for the future of Godzilla

Great reaction! The actress that plays Jia is actually deaf in real life. She comes from a lineage of deaf people in her family. Mothra always lays an egg before she dies in the franchises history so she will always be reborn. The lightning from the glove Kong has is a call back to the 1962 film where he has the ability to use electricity to become stronger and conduct his through his arms.

23:56 28:23 Fun Fact Tiamat has met Godzilla before after the movie king of the monsters he wanted to go to a old lair of his to rest but when he arrived Tiamat jumped him and actually almost killed Godzilla but luckily He managed to kick Tiamat out. now heres little facts about Tiamat. tiamat was originally found by monarch under Stone Mountain Georgia until Ghidorah awakened her and she destroyed a good chunk of Georgia leaving death in the millions eventually making it to the ocean and going to Godzillas old lair, she’s also able to create water spouts and spray deadly acids she’s also estimated to be 1100 feet in length also the Tiamat we see in the movie is different because she originally had purple, blue, and light blue skin but when she went to Antarctica and absorb some of the solar energy it caused her to change as she now had more razor sharp scales, pink and grey skin and now has tiny arms and legs as her original form didn’t have, and one of her new abilities she obtained after absorbing the radiation is that her cells are so hot they cause the sea around her to boil and create a storm that can be seen from outer space.

Also Ghidora's head is still hanging around with an evil tech company Apex who made Mechagodzilla so there could be Mecha King Ghidora in the future 6. "The monster who ate a star" is unconfirmed and could be just about any big bad like Ghidora, Destoroyah or a corrupted Godzilla This info comes from the comics, novelization and speculation
The graffiti godzilla stomps on has a small reference to one of the kaijus in Pacific Rim, the one who fought gypsy danger and killed the brother of the MC.

This was a PEAK monsterverse movie exactly what you want from a Godzilla film, reminded me of KOTM. MVP was def Godzilla he was with all the static but I gained alot of respect for Kong in this one he redeemed himself from them assk kicking that Godzilla gave him in the last movie. Skar & Shimo was fire villians & ofc the queen Mothra came back it was just magical.
No joke I just finished watching this movie with my parents a couple minutes ago and even though they aren't into these big CGI blockbuster movies they legitimately had a really great, fun time with this movie. I really liked Kongs arc in this movie and him finally finding a home and Scar King was menace in this movie, probably one of the best Monsterverse villains.
4:58, in the novelization godzilla is stated to be able to feel the various minerals, waters, and the magnetic field of the earth and the solar radiation that bounces off of it. He is also able to taste the atmosphere and the lives and deaths of living organisms on the planet, and he can also feel Scylla walkimg on earth

4:52 fun fact we’ve seen this Titan before if you watched king of the monsters then surely you should remember that there was a scene showing this Titan awakening from the ground and at the end of the movie bows to Godzilla, this Titan named Scylla has been a pain in the ass for Godzilla as they actually fought before because Scylla was gonna consume a bomb that would cause a lot of damage and Godzilla decided “nah your not eating that” and after they fought Godzilla spares Scylla, sometime later eventually Scylla decides to challenge Godzilla for the throne so she began to consume radiation from multiple power plants but even that wasn’t enough so Godzilla decided this girl had to go

This movie reminded me of how I used to put boxes on top of each other, build a little city just to completely destroy it thinking I was Godzilla 😅. The director embodies perfectly how a kid would imagine when playing with his Godzilla toys. A film really made by heart from a Die Heart fan ❤
You are right to be fair, Mothra died in King of the Monsters but in previous films as long as she has eggs laid her memories will pass on to her babies. Shes pretty much a God or Deity.
I’m very glad everyone has been sharing information to make sure it’s known and nothing is confusing but also, the reason Godzilla, and just knows where other creatures are is because his senses are so enhanced and he even has a sixth sense that literally let him feel the electrical waves of the planet, which tells him where all monsters are.
After mothras death in KotM, godzilla gained the ability to sense things from anywhere in the world. He can sense other titans in the world, like when he went after kong in the previous movie. The spider/squid titan is called Scylla, and she did appear in KotM at the end. The reason she was killed by godzilla was because she absorbed more radiation and tried to challenge him again, as the first time she did (in the comics) she got beaten but was spared by godzilla. But after she tried again she got killed for it. The director for monarch in the movie, hampton i think her name is, fun fact she actually met godzilla back in 2014, during his fight with the male muto she barely just survived and saw godzilla up close. The little orange ape is called Suko, he alongside three other apes were sent by the skar king to fetch “stranger” which is kong. Suko originally wasnt chosen to go but skar king insisted he go with one eye, catcher and stone fist (the names of the other apes that ambushed kong). And kong never hated suko cause he understood that he was just a child, despite his knack for deceipt. Suko is confused by kongs kindness as he has struggled to survive and lives under skar kings rule, so he feels confused by the acts of kindness kong shows him, but later accepts him and sides with him in the end. Tiamat is another titan godzilla fought in the comics. Godzilla was searching for another titan but tiamat appeared instead, she nearly killed him until godzilla brought her to dry land and beat her, but like scylla he spared her the first time. But this time he forced her out of her lair to absorb even more radiation and killed her, whilst was a selfish action in the end it was for the better of the earth. Skar king isnt as bulky or as strong as kong, but he is cunning and menacing. He also uses whatever he can to gain the advantage, like using shimo as a weapon, even if it is a cheaty way to win. Skar king works as a villain, and is skilled in combat, but also looks down on others and treats them like dirt. Mothra is pretty much like a goddess, she can reincarnate and retain the memories of her past lives. Much like with the other titans godzilla killed, he spared kong in the last film, but was ready to kill kong for what he thought was another challenge, and for entering godzillas territory which is earth. And mothra shares a symbiotic relationship with godzilla so they are very close, and shes the only one who can make godzilla listen because he trusts her. During the fight kong felt both surprised and impressed by how godzilla could quickly adapt to fighting in zero gravity. It shows how much more experienced godzilla is in combat. Im pretty sure adam wingard confirmed that godzillas new form isnt permanent so if they make another godzilla film i dont think hell be sportin the pink
34:00 for those unaware, the Skar King used a repurposed spine that orginally came from a Warbat which he wielded as a supersonic to hypersonic whip to disable or tangle other titans, with an embedded crystal capable of negating Shimo's ability to self-control. As i mentioned earlier this far exceeds the speed of sound, and is called the "Whiplash".
For Your confusion, Yes mothra died in GxK. But everytime before she died, she laid an egg that hatches in the future and gets all the memories from the ancestors.
Godzilla choosing the Colosseum as his home makes sense, if you remember in King of The Monsters, he had a similarly circular home in that underwater city on top of the pyramid where Dr. Serizawa died detonating the nuke to restore Godzilla
You are so very hilarious,.."you can't use a child to beat other people with",..lol, I swear, I couldn't stop laughing to save my life,..and I rewound that part several times, it was too funny, and I know, Kong was just slinging Suko, like a rag doll, huh or a sock full of rocks,..absolutely crazy,..and yes we know, this movie was lit, it was a ride, didn't go see it in IMAX, but big regular screen theater was good enough, it's so stunning, the cinematography, and Suko., yeah he was suspicious right off the bat, that sneaky look on his face when he led Kong to the lake, and the final battles, so amazing,..so glad you enjoyed, so enjoyed watching it with you,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
I love the natural progression of the bond between Kong and Suko. Even with that "I'll beat a motherfucker with another motherfucker" moment. And the fact that Jia was prophesized as a hero who can rouse Mothra from her slumber is amazing, same with her meeting other members of her people. Fun fact: Dan Stevens also played The Beast in the remake of Beauty And The Beast.

@@Kami789t It makes no difference whether you're with or without Kong. He does not do the "Titan cleaning" for the city. I keep the city safe from those Prehistoric Titans and maintain the stability in nature.The only decent thing Kong can do is sleep.
