I like how when Po tried offering peace, the Chameleon chose Shen’s form to reject his offer. Similar to how the real Shen rejected Po in the second film.
7:04 That's the same move Master Shifu did in KFP1 in his fight against Tai Lung! I was worried because people said KFP4 was worse than 3 which was already behind 1&2.
I think what people meant by that is he was kind of out of character number one he found inner peace. He wouldn’t be as irritated with Po because he’s used to his antics because of course he found inner peace. the second problem with him is the whole trying to make Po pass on the torch of Dragon Warrior if you think about it why does Po to retire? Many reasons why people need to retire it is either you’re getting older and their body can’t keep up as they used to, or a injury that is causing problems for that person’s body leave a permanent effect Po is quite and somewhat in shape if you’re wondering how old he is he’s still in his 20s so the whole passing down the title Dragon Warriors not a bad idea because it would’ve worked if Po was a little more older and maybe that was his decision to make and possibly maybe he was dying or or he had a near death experience that would motivate him to choose someone if something happens to him, but those things happen in the movie therefore, this plot of him passing the torch was not utilized as well. Those are many reasons for po to possibly retire. None of those situations happen that would conclude to a reasonable retirement also I feel like poking also be the dragon warrior and spiritual leader at the same time he still capable of fighting. those are the reasons why people felt like Master shifu was out of character. Almost got one more reason and some people didn’t think Po should retire the title of Dragon Warrior because they think that the past movies have built up to one Dragon Warrior and they made it seem special
45:36 I wouldn't say she's pissed.. more like.. scared of what's coming next since she's being dragged to the spirit realm by the same snow leopard who she stole his kung fu skills and not to mention all the other masters from the spirit realm that's waiting for her.
I loved the movie but it was the weakest in the franchise. The animation was amazing and comedy on level with the other three. Also the fight scenes and actions are something else! But in depth and emotion this movie needs improvement.
Even tho it’s not as good as the previous films because of pacing and other flaws, this is still a good and fun movie. Action scenes, comedy, music and characters as always are amazing. Love the design of the villain and how she looks when transformed into other Kung fu warriors. Plus Jack blacks cover at the end, just sweet 🖤🤍
There Is May 16, 2008 In Kung Fu Panda (2008), And There Is May 31, 2011 In Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), And There Is May 31, 2014 In Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) And There Is March 8, 2017 - 2018 In Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
I was so happy to finally see Po fighting in his hat and cape like he had dreamed in the 1st movie. He looked so cool And Shifu looks cuter in this movie. His eyes were so blue in the scene on the stairs to jade palace
You know one of the things that I like about this movie is that we finally have a female main villain. I know we have had female villains in the series and all, but I feel like a lot of the main villains we have seen have all been men. In the first movie there was Tai Lung, in the second Lord Shen, the third General Kai. Its just nice to see a Kung fu Panda movie with a female main villain for a change.
Something interesting is it makes sense for tai lung to bow Kai shouldn’t even be here because he got evaporated in the spirit realm so basically he doesn’t exist anymore and shen is a genocidal maniac so why is he bowing 45:13
When chameleon changed into the croc in the first time we see her, Her eyes were able to hide the blue to avoid exposing her identity so she can do it but in the fight she doesn’t.
honestly i think people were being to harsh about it. I actully really enjoyed it and the only thing that bothered me was the past enemies were out of character
A slight bit, but for Tai Lung it makes sense that after x amount of years in the Spirit Realm and watching Po literally defeat someone with the power of all the other masters, he realizes Po truly deserved to be the Dragon Warrior.
I actually found an Easter egg from kung fu panda for while you’re watching that the restaurant and his friend went in there actually look like the house from Walter house
A lot of people had issues with how the Chameleon was handled as a villain. Cause people keep bringing up that she was "too small" to learn Kung fu from training halls and such. But i wanna point out that it might not be the case. Cause i believe Dreamworks wanted to parallell Chameleon’s backstory with Po’s. Cause shifu tried so hard in the first movie to get rid of Po when he was chosen by Oogway. But they just worded it wrong in the scene where she gets the Staff of Wisdom
I remember I was in the theater and that was one of my biggest issues when I heard she said she was to small. All I could think about was how the furious 5 has mantis and shifu is on the smaller side. I do see now how could of intended that parallel to Po but it just didn’t hit for me and she like the weakest villain in terms of writing
I see the reason people could be upset because of the villains reason being "too small" for kung fu as the motivation but she did also mention it was a different training hall which must be meaning that place commonly does not have smaller people training for kung fu and that only bigger species can do it, whereas the training hall in the Valley considers all kinds of people, such as Shifu and Mantis. Overall still not the strongest villain in terms of character writing but not bad, just very simple i guess.
@@skylord1846 I respectfully disagree as well. I can see why non-KFP fans enjoy it tho, cause as its own movie, it’s ok, but to people who grew up with the OG trilogy, this movie was kinda bad
Mans did not just say “Jack Black can actually sing” 🤦🏾♂️😅… I’m sure someone else would’ve said something but he was involved music and that is what led him to his first acting role and he kept up rising from there
Yo! I love your content and have been watching since the jojo opening videos. I think you should play the lego star wars games on videos. They are really awesome and theres multiple ones. Also they are easily accessible
Only thing I didn’t get plot wise was the chameleon’s main reason for doing it was that she was too small and weak, yet we have mantis in the furious five who’s smaller than her???? Good movie tho
China is huge and there can be a lot of variation. As mentioned in the movie, a lot of people outside of the Valley of Peace don't even know who Po is. Just because Shifu was willing to train Mantis, doesn't mean all the kung fu teachers around China are the same (and at first Shifu actually did turn Mantis away). Some teachers are probably more traditional/narrow-minded than Shifu and thus rejected the Chameleon for her size. Not everyone gets the same treatment depending on who they meet. That's how life is, isn't it?
i think the movie is a bit of a rush, lots of missing dialogue from the best and special characters, when chameleon got all the powers some of shen and general kai fighting style kinda idk is not there, shes like use the apperance instead of the power and the title of dragon warrior kinda easy to achieve on this one. Po took like 2movie before he earns that.
I'm not sure how i feel about this movie tbh animation was great dont get me wrong but they completely deleted the furious five's role in the movie and like wtf was the ending i mean take Kai as an example the dude dedicated 500 years to escaping the spirit realm and he just casually walks back in willingly like what it doesnt make sense
Everyone hates this movie, I just can’t stop thinking about it and Godzilla X Kong, I don’t see why everyone is stressed about the five, they were honestly no help until one minor incident happened..I’m ready 4 the hate after this
