First Time Watching MOUNTAINS | STRAY KIDS | Reaction Video 

Always glad to see someone enjoy stray kids. I would highly recommend you react to some behind-the-scenes/ making of videos--bc you are right that EVERYTHING they do has meaning. This particular song/mv is STEEPED in lore and mythological references (someone already left an amazing comment about that). It's really easy for casual reacters to miss the incredible depth behind stray kids hype and high-end production❤. I would really love to see a lot more stray kids content from you guys, especially stuff that would help you get to know them better (i.e. guides, skz code episodes, behind-the-scenes, and fan-made stuff like katya strom creates. Her video about Stray Kids having fun making music is fantastic).❤

This shows that they are the gods of their own world. Felix was writing down the rules, and later Hyunjin was sneaking in to make his own changes. Controlling everything. Did you catch Changbin's skull when the lightning struck? Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but you can watch the making of their MVs. These are great fun. All though it shows more of them than the technical side, you still get to see a lot of how it is done, and a bit of the storyline explanation. The Kids seem to be gods in this. They are climbing the pyramid to the gods to sing at the top. They seem to be exhibiting powers like speed/teleportation, the ability to travel through lightning, writing fates & the laws of the universe, and manipulating the world around them. I knew about golden apples, but silver were new to me. I had to do a bit of research. Golden apples are associated with the sun. And have properties ranging from instilling greed, chaos, and discord, eternal youth, to love. Golden apples appear in many different myths, from Celtic, to Greek & Roman. The most interesting thing I found about golden apples, is that they grow from silver trees. Silver wood, leaves, and flowers. It isn't said if the apples are gold from the beginning, or turn gold when ripe. On the other hand, silver apples are less well known. Silver apples represent the moon, and soft femininity. All instances of silver apples I have found are calm. They gather moonlight in streams. They thrive in the soft light of the moon, rather than the harsh light of the sun. So. SKZ could be saying that they thrive in the lack of light. (Out of the popular spotlight) Or...It might be a rarer golden apple. Because golden apples range in colour, including red gold. So they might be saying this is a white gold apple, instead of silver. But it still pertains to mythology & gods. Especially since Felix is inspecting it as Han sits on the Atals globe that holds a piece of the pyramid to the gods. Han seems to be preventing the "faceless" people from moving the globe. And I had to pause when Seungmin was looking into the buildings that they were wandering in. (Changbin, Seungmin, and I.N most notably.) Because they did a close up shot of his eye....It had to be a reason...And it's a reflection of the computer room that Felix & Hyunjin were typing on the computer in & had the model. When we next see Seungmin, he's in the room & then reaches his hands into the sky of the model. They played with so much mythology in this. So many references to gods & titans. If you remember your mythology, titans were what came before the gods. They were punished & locked away for being to "dangerous & powerful". Atlas was a titan. Basically, Atlas was punished to hold the weight of the world for eternity. The firmament, if you will. In this video, we see a chunk of the "pyramid to the gods" that has been ripped off & placed inside the globe. The firmament of the gods, if you will. (Seriously. The pyramid has a chunk ripped out of it, above where the faceless people can reach. And it matches the chunk in the globe. The pyramid gleams gold, but the globe gleams silver.) Now. Atlas was punished to hold the weight of the world....But SKZ are playing with it. They are climbing on it & spinning around it. The faceless people seem to be very intent at moving the globe, or getting the chunk of the pyramid inside. But SKZ either sit on the globe & prevent it from moving, (Han) or hold it in place with their hand or leaning on it. (Chan) Skz seem to take care of the globe, but they don't seem to see it as work. Just something to care for. If we really want, we could see this as a reference to the many times we have said SKZ hold the weight of the industry on their shoulders. And they are making it seem easy. The last scene with them standing around the mini city really brings back to my mind Victory Song & Miroh. In victory song & Miroh, they were planning out & declaring their intent to take control of a city. In Mountains, we have them as gods playing with reality and seeming to take interest in a city...Which if we skip to CHK CHK BOOM, they are taking it over. Because in track order, it goes Mountains & then CCB. (Which....If you wanna pull the gods angle into CCB, they are already doing godly things. They are wandering through art, making furniture fall from the sky, painting the town with graffiti that glows at certain times, and a lot more.) Oh. And a side note. That bottle they were "drinking" is actually a type of ice pop. You get it & freeze it, then open it & chew on the bottle as the ice melts & turns slushy. Very similar to what you were thinking it was.

Stray Kids give clues throughout or toward end of their Music Videos at times for STAYS. Keep lookout 👀 for Stray Kids Clues. Felix controlling the Parallel Universe again. Hyunjin at computer by pausing you can see Hyunjin Teleporting in room. Seungim up to no good, snooping around when there's no one around. If you pause when lighting Striking down behind Changbin, his body image turns into a Skeleton.

What is he drinking? It's a Korean ice cream...or more accurately...a cross between ice cream and an icee. You snap the top off (like the ones you remember) and squeeze the frozen treat while sucking it out.
