Every reactor that watched the anime right after they watched One Piece Live action said they will only watch 45 episodes failed. You can never resist when you watch this Masterpiece of a Show.
Some friendly advice for a new One Piece anime fan to avoid spoilers: 1 - Skip the intros, except for 1 and 2. 2 - Don't read the episode titles, just look away before the subtitles pop up. 3 - Stay off the wiki, no matter how curious you get. Also applies to reddit forums and dedicated servers of the fandom. 4 - Be VERY careful reading the comments beneath your uploads. The One Piece community as a whole very much wants new fans to have the same experience as those of us who are up to date, but as with any group of people there are bad actors who will attempt to spoil things. Hope you have a great ride, and welcome to the Strawhat crew, Alondra!
When i started anime about a year ago I swore to watch the intro one time in every arc when it changes, that way i forget the spoilers later and i get a banger on an intro, and unless im DESPERATE, i only look at the name of the ep for the one im on, but when it comes to spoilers that i just come across on youtube, i can never escape 😂😭
"If i really like it" Lmao of course you will. The live action of One Piece is great but the original anime blows it out of the water. It's an absolute legendary masterpiece. A show of the highest caliber.
More of a manga fan myself (although the anime does have amazing moments) but the first episode is just absolutely goofy and I love watching people react to it 😂 Enjoy the ride!
Welcome to the One Piece anime journey ! Hope you'll get hooked and go beyond what's covered in the Live Action . Of course you'll see if you cross that bridge or not , once we get there
The first time I started watching one piece I only made it till about ep 14 before I gave up but when I gave it another try one thing led to another and now I'm caught up. 💀
1. Let me welcome you to the best storywriting , and also the biggest emotional rollercoaster you ever will encounter in your Life! 2. First important thing, don't skip something even if someone tells you too, just don't ! You would miss a lot, that you don't want to miss for the fully perfect One Piece Journey, because even the filler Episodes are all pretty good though :) 3. Second important thing, have always some tissues close by ^^' 4. Enjoy the Journey! And we all know, you will enjoy it pretty sure :D
Welcome to the crew! Overall the fandom is very supportive of new folks joining the ranks. We only become toxic when in-fighting about which Straw Hat pirate is best lol. I'm excited for you to fall in love with the characters and world as we all have. Enjoy the journey!
enjoy the ride, i wouldnt stop after catching up with the live action, the show just gets better, and once you hit around episode 450 you will know what all the fandom is about. But there are some filler episodes and there is no problem in skipping them
9:57 thats one of the things i hated about live action, they completely cut out coby's character development, in live action luffy was saying everything for him, they did the same with kaya, they completely cut out her character development as well ❤️🩹
Watching one piece from 2015 . I've completed watching one piece until end of dressrosa arc about 4th time. I'm still re-watching it with two other reaction channel 😂 if you goin to continue watching one piece count me in. This anime is getting the worthy recognition right now i'm just happy for it. Trust me you'll love it ❤
I started watching One piece this year actually, and thinking about the timeline luffy actually left foosha village not too long ago... it still makes me sad thinking about the flashbacks in marineford even if im in punkhazard now 😂😭
Within the first few 20 or so eps it's fine , and she can pretty much read stuff covered already in the LA . But getting the hang of spotting and avoid titles early is not a bad idea
I always love reading the title only to the ep im watching, because then im thinking how it will play out and it will he more exciting, but yeah, for no spoils it definitely makes sense
Since anime is also an adaptation of the manga..they made some minor changes to how some characters meet. All 3 versions are distinct in the beginning.. Nami does not show up in the Manga until Buggy's island. But anime is cool to sprinkle her here..on her mission to steal.
I still prefer the anime over live action, adding extra scenes but don't change what happened in the manga ( unless Sanji case I understand due to Japan not showing cannibalism for PD/ shounnen rating ) I hope LA fans enjoy the extra goofiness based on the original source since Live action tone it down a lot as some people idk they don't seem to appreciate goofiness and prefer serious dark stuff like AOT ... as well as jokes that may hit on over sensitive people (Fat jokes/ LBGT/ pervert gags)
There are a handful of slowish episodes between here and where the live action ended but I think if you get to where it ended you'll be sold. Nami's arc in the anime imo is so much better than the live action. I can't wait for you to see it!
Oh I remember you from the LA reaction.. This is a marathon not a race..plus its a Gamble that an old series becomes a hit for your YT journey or not.. People like to drop in for great moments, and then some stick around for the ride. Still, atleast till S1 ended..here for the ride once again.
I think one of the big turn offs for the live action is how quickly they revealed the connection between Luffy and Garp. In the anime you don’t find out until episode 313.
lol everyone says they’re gonna watch until where the live action ended. I promise you by the time you get there you’re gonna want to keep going. So if I bet money I’m gonna predict that you keep watching 😂
Careful with intro/titles they’ll spoil…Try to stay as unspoiled as possible…and yeah a fellow Haikyuu enjoyer 🤗 ENJOY! You’re in for a treat! Welcome aboard!
op is not a maraton its a avanture im a manga reder and i cant never relive my first read so take you time and happy in one of the most bigest worlds ^^
Reactor starting one piece in 2024 telling us it's "a huge commitment" 1000 episodes.... Yeah... try to see one episode a week for the last 20+ years, than we can have a conversation about commitment! 😂
i watch the anime since it came out and i don't feel like it's commitment when you enjoy it. but i'm kinda jealous to all the people starting now as they can binge so much and not have to spend so much time in agony waiting for next week 😅
@@alexbenfaremo5493 figured 😊 i just wanted to point out that there's no need for commitment if one enjoys it. and on the other hand i can see a content creator calling it commitment, cause there's all the editing and idk what that's a lot of work and effort for such a long period of time - that you don't have if you can just watch and enjoy. ☺
Going forward most people recommend you night read episode titles. They spell out what happens in the episode pretty literally and can spoil things. Enjoy! Loved your la reactions and I know you'll enjoy just as much.
12:35 You probably know, but the anime is not the original material. The anime is an adaptation of the manga, same as the live action which also adapts the manga. The creators from the anime have taken a fair few liberties during their time adapting. For example, Nami's presence is something all adaptations tend to adjust, but there's also a couple of 'too brutal for a cartoon' moments that were adjusted. The live action actually did better in that regard to the Sanji&Zeff backstory. The anime also tried animating a sidestory involving Buggy, but that was received pretty badly by audiences at the time so the animation company has never animated sidestories again. Which is a SHAME, because some of them tie into the proper story and are a lot of fun.
im glad that the life action got rid of how the alvida character is so themed around fatphobia. as fun as one piece is thats one thing that had really aged badly
I hope you will continue to watch this one piece anime, we will support you.. just remember that the first stories of one piece are funny and laughable, but the longer you watch one piece, the more you will understand the story of one piece... just enjoy watching it
There are any issues with the live action just disrespecting the characters and themes. It looks accurate on the surface, but it becomes apparent that it's the only thing it gets right.
Once you get to see more of one piece anime the more you gonna realize the live action is wrong and should be cancelled. Oh and if you think more than 1000 anime episodes are a lot once you get close to the 1000 you will think that even 2000 episodes are not enough :P
Nah it's a bad idea for a first time . One pace is made for second and further viewings . She can always discover it , and switch if unbearable later on . There isn't even a good reason to use if in the first 100 or so episodes ... and straight filler eps can be easily avoided , if feeling like it
