FIRST TIME WATCHING | Rammstein - Engel (Live from Madison Square Garden) | REACTION 

56 year old guy here who only found Rammstein a couple years ago. I have been to a ton of rock shows, many of them great but as a show it seem Rammstein just blows them all away. We could argue about the music forever but hard to say their show is not spectacular and entertaining. I also like that they are a band in the sense they have always been the same six guys since 1994 they don't fire guys, guys don't quit, when they need a break from each other they take one but they really seem to respect each other and appreciate the fact fans love them. Can you name any modern band that always lines up at the edge of the stage at the end of the show and gets down on one knee to say thank to the audience for being there? It was a crazy Live Show. With 60.000 other Fans in an Open Air Arena. I can still feel the heat of the Fire, that was more than 100 meters away from me. Incredible...

The whistling is a playback. Rammstein is awesome but they do use some backing tracks during live shows. Often Engel is played near the end and the guitarists are spent, you can see them breathing hard yet the whistling is perfect while still nailing the riffs.

Ws are pronounced like Vs. 🙂 Ich is like eesh but not really the sh sound, more like a hiss like a cat. Tu is basically too, and dir is like deer, and weh is pronounced with a V sound.

It's a shame that they had some restrictions on effects and pyrotechnics in the USA. Otherwise they wouldn't have been allowed to perform... Just watch "Deutschland" the original music video, it's great!
